I'm teaching a class of young adult learners that has gotten out of control. I know what to do to handle this on the educational level, but I would also like to do some work to handle it on a spiritual level as well. Gamache has a spell for gaining power over others on p. 69 of The Master Book of Candle Burning; the only problem is that the spell requires that one of the candles be "the astral candle of the person over whom [power]is sought." In my case, this is not just one person, and I'm not sure what color to use to represent a class that is energetic and enthusiastic on the one hand (qualities I want to encourage), but can sometimes also be unruly and disrespectful on the other.

Also, if anyone has ideas about spells they think might work better than the one Gamache describes, feel free to comment on this as well.

Hmm. To influence such a large number of people I can only suggest hoodooing the room itself. You can do a peace wash if you are allowed. Of course, you would have to pray over the bucket with a clear intention of calming everybody down before mopping. I am not sure if the school will allow this though, and most classrooms nowdays have carpet flooring. I would also say fummigate the room with a peaceful incense, like roses, lavender, etc while asking for peace. If this is not strong enough, then I would go ahead and use slippery elm powder to quiet them down.

I agree that the best choice would be to work on the room.

Peaceful Home and King Solomon Wisdom products being the one's I would recommend. I could not ethically suggest that you use any kind of compelling or controlling work on children. A gentle draw would be better. Peace water is another good product that you can use to wipe down the desks with. Remember to wipe down the window sills and the lintel of the door way.

As for a seperate spell I suggest the following:

Get a large jar and fill it with sugar, or use a box of sugar.
Get popsical sticks, either plain wood, pink or light blue.
Write each child's name on the popsical stick and place them in the box of sugar.
Place your name on one as well and add it.
This should help sweeten the children to you and each other.

Here is a subject near and dear to my heart. I fix the classrooms I am going to be teaching in. I always get this info in advance and put King Solomon sachet powders in each corner and burn the incense too, if I can. You can actually modify the King Solomon kit for this. I would burn a King Solomon wisdom vigil candle and a honey jar with the class roster on it. I would put peach leaves, cloves, sumac, cubeb berries, and five-finger grass into the honey jar.

I would never use any kind of compelling or controlling work on children. That's why I made a point of mentioning in my post that these are "young adult" learners (i.e. college students), although sometimes I'm not so sure judging from their behavior.

I would suggest, in the future, to carry the King Solomon mojo bag on you and keep up with King Solomon work. This has helped me tremendously in dealing with my students and future students too.

As you know, each class has a different chemistry and the King Solomon really helps you navigate so many different types of students.

I bought the 7 day dressed John the Conquer candle and also had one burned at LM church altar to increase my stamina and strength. I also ordered seals of Mars and Sun as per Cat, as well as herbs she reccomended for health, strength, and stamina -- John the Conquer root, Sampson Snake Root, Master of the Woods herb, and Master root pieces.

I would like to do a little more.

If I used a Loadstone and dressed it with Blessing oil and Conquer oil and put my picture with seals and petition under it, does this sound like it would be good? I will start working with loadstone after I light the candle.

Can I add Power sachet to everything also?

Is there someone else, a saint etc. to petition for help in this area?

I do not want to order any more items for this stamina job because I want to start asap.

I just finished my Pyschic Vision spell mojo bag and candle for communication with animals. When I put those herbs in my shoes as you suggested, cat, do I ground them up?

First off, there is something to be said for not piling a ton of different approaches on top of each other. As the worker you have to decide, but in my experience it is often useful to start with a basic layer of work, see how it takes and then if necessary add more, instead of starting off with a bunch of different approaches to the same problem.

That sounds appropriate for what you are trying to accomplish.

You have mentioned that you want to "do a little more" Well, while little and more sort of contradict each other, I found this as a sign that maybe you do not trust your work or what you have already done. If you do not trust the spells that you have already done, then most likely they are not going to work. I think what has already been done should suffice if you believe wholeheartedly that they are going to work. Adding more, and doing more does not necessarily mean that it is going to be more effective.

If you would like, I would keep a candle on going while you work on the main matter you are working on. Also, I think you need to be more specific as to what you want strength in. For example, do you want to dominate someone, or do you need more strength in protecting yourself, or a business venture. I say this because some saints would be even better to work with depending upon your goal. Narrowing down your goal and objective would really help in finding what you want. Saint Barbara helps with strength, but I would do some research on how to work with any saint you use because some of them like a specific form of payment sometimes.

To stars in the sky,by the way I like that name Anyway it is for strength in stamina I have had 3 major severe illnesses and 2 bouts of chemo for 2 types of cancer so all of this and the meds I am on and the stress of my other health problems weaken my stamina and immune system I am on alot of holistic help right now but that is the stregth I need Anyone that wants to light a candle for me while I do that stamina spell I would love it Thanks

Im sorry to hear about your illnesses. Do you think you could work with a Saint? I am a huge fan of working them because I have seen results in aiding my spell work. I know that you can work with a few Saints that help with healing and health issues. This way you can continue to pray to them, and ask for their help.

Yes, and now I can use some of that lightening struck piece of wood (long piece) I saved years ago, when I wasn't aware of hoodoo, and felt it was powerful so I kept it with my collection of sticks and such. I don't know if this has been asked or not so i do apologize if it has been, I wanted to know if there is a way to work a spell or mojo
to give someone more ambition. My friend wants to go out and pursue this goals (school, better job for the future etc.) and asked me
if there was such a spell to keep him motivated and ambitious towards achievement. I wouldn't know how to even conduct a spell like this.
I'm still working with spells like money, love etc. Does anyone have any ideas or spells that could help?

Does anyone know of a good spell on how to influence others?

My neighbor seems to know of a spell or prayer she uses everytime she wants to influence someone, but she won't share it with me. A couple of weeks ago she wanted another neighbor to move his car from the spot he was parked in. She said "watch this, that car will be parked somewhere else. Sure enough within 48 hours the car had moved to another spot. What is she doing? Is she saying a prayer or doing a commanding spell? mariaclh@aol.com

One old-time conjure spell that is really swift to work at influencing others to your will is this very simple trick...

Dust the inside of your left shoe with a condition power like "Commanding" "Influence" etc. (Something related to asserting your will...)
Some will place a bit of one of the so-called controlling herbs (licorice, calamus, bergamot) in the shoe as well.
When talking to the target and stating your request, steadily tap your left foot.
This can also be done from a distance, if you concentrate on your target and intention.

There are many variations on this type of trick; perhaps someone else will post a slightly different version or even come forth with a prayer known for the same affect. If you know you need to influence a particular person and time is not of the essence, check out LM's honey jar "Influence Another for Any Good Cause."

I have used sugar for the purpose. An interesting variation i recommended a friend before i came across LM. This was also for influencing ..her mother in law in this case, an recalcitrant old lady if ever there was one. She loved creating drama when the family got together and made it look that her sons had all forgotten about poor old her..you get the picture.
However in her culture/house they all remain bare footed in the house, no shoes allowed AT ALL. So we created a name paper for the MIL, added sugar to it before folding it up and my friend put it with bandaid on her sole!
No one saw it and she was able to squish the poor woman mercilessly all weekend.

Needless to stay it worked and that particular thanksgiving was one of the most peaceful and fun family get-togethers she had ever had in 20 + years!

The version I've used is to make a name paper for the person and dust it with the powders then place it in my left shoe. Then you tap your foot as you speak to the person to apply subtle pressure and get them to agree with you.

A firmer version of this conjure is sprinkle the sachet powder (Command, Compel, Essence of Bend Over) or anoint your hand and touch them, then when you are home take the name paper and place it in your shoe again. Call out that person's name and command them to do what you want, then stamp your foot hard on the name paper. The jolt is usually enough to get most people to do what you want.

You can carve your target's name on a purple candle along with your command. Anoint with Holy Oil oil and burn on their picture or name paper while praying Psalm 114 and 110 and calling out your command.

Finally, you can burn some Calamus on charcoal with the incense of your choice while speaking to the spirit of the Calamus to go and grab hold of the senses of your target and make them bend to your will.

The trick to influencing people is knowing how to get at them. Some people are best influenced and controlled through pressure, other's become meek to a seemingly iron will, while others must be knocked off balanced to influence the mind. Hit your target from different angles.

I don't know who will be handling the claim but I need it settled for the amount I asked for ASAP because I don't have a car now. Any suggestions on how to do that?

My oldest son Nick has become very interested in lifting weights since he got a weight set for Christmas. He wants to go out for the football team next year and he has asked me what he can use to help him excel in these areas. I've done some searches here and at the LM site but haven't come up with anything really. I was wondering what line of products you guys would recommend for this. I was thinking maybe John the Conqueror or the Power line but I wasn't sure. Thanks.

It depends on the situation, but some general ideas are that you can sprinkle powders where they may come in contact while praying your intention, you can use the oil to touch them and draw them under you power, you can wear as a scent, or you can even do specific candle work that allows you to master your targets. If you simply want overall mastery and control you may consider getting a mojo hand for such a purpose.

Although there are differing opinions on this subject, e.g., some are effective with candles, powders, or oils alone while others in combination yet some prefer mojos. Personally, I like a mojo for general controlling work.

Hi,
I have a friend who needs to pass a physical test in order to get a job (law enforcement field). I would like to get her an oil (or 2) to wear during her test- I'm thinking Crucible of Courage and Crown of Success oil. Do you think that these would be the best choices? Thanks in advance for your comments!

Definitely crown of success for passing test and succeeding. As for physical strength - I'm a girl, but I wear John the Conqueror whenever I need a boost in that regard. It also increases personal mastery and power.

I think Crown of Success and John the Conqueror would be perfect for that.
