Hey y’all!

I’m Jordan (they/them) and a graduate from miss cat’s course from several years ago — I had a different name then but that’s all been part of the gender journey of the last few years. I wanted to rejoin the forum to reconnect with folks but couldn’t remember my old account information.

I’m a hospital chaplain at Yale and work in the intersection of spiritual care and medicine. I’m originally from rural NC and much of my spirituality is based in the folk magical traditions of that region. I graduated from seminary back in ‘21.

So much of what I learned from miss cat has been useful in my care of patients and understanding of spirituality more broadly. In my day-to-day I am a chaplain endorsed by the Humanist Society and also serve as a celebrant/officiant for ceremonies and lifecycle rituals.

Anyway! Wishing folks well and wanted to say hi. Good to be back here and grateful for the wealth of information.
