Hi guys,

Today, I was at my man's house. (to those who read my previous post knew what's going on with my love life.) Anyway, I just wanted to share something. While him and I having coffee. I looked at yesterday's paper, particularly on the classified ads section. An ad really caught my attention, somebody publish about "make 3 wishes; one for business, 2nd for love and 3rd the impossible, say 9 hail mary's for eight days and on the 9th day publish the article." This article was for Mother Teresa.

I've been praying/novena to St. Anthony, and lost count of the days. I remembered I started on the 5th. Today is the 13th of January, and 13th is his day. He's the patron saint of the place I was born, as well. I didn't know about publishing it until I started reading the forums about saints 2 days ago. He's reminding me, and possibly telling me he's working on my favor!

Will anyone please help understand the sign? And what kind of offering I can give to St. Anthony? I'm thinking baking a bread..

Any input is highly appreciated. Thanks much.

Hi Fotunata,

It sounds good to me, like he is sending you a message of support. Saints who really want to help you will do this, and make their presence known very strongly. It's up to us to recognize their signs.

Bread would be a nice offering, as would white lilies.

OMG! I don't want this to be a diary/journal. I just read your message. Then I opened my facebook account literally just now, on the newsfeed came a video of bakers, obviously making bread. And I was about to scroll down for different feed, when I caught of the person uploading the video, his name is; Anthony...

I have not seen this needed before. Perhaps you should consider a reading, to find out how likely a reconciliation would be. You can find readers here:

It's been said that God answers every prayer but sometimes that answer is "No". Give yourself a time limit on how long you will work to get this person back, then free yourself to move on.

Also, you might want to reconsider your profile name. "Hopelesshope" is a negative thought and you're not drawing positive energy to yourself. I'm not saying you need a name like "HappyRainbowSkittles" but perhaps consider something more optimistic to keep your energy positive. Just a thought.

You can always doctor the wick a bit to move some of the wax away and strengthen the flame. You could also offer Saint Anthony some gifts like Saint Anthony's Bread as a way of showing gratitude for his help.

This is a matter of personal preference and also comfortability or familiarity. If you have a history of working with St. Anthony and have established a relationship and trust then either would be fine in my opinion. Let your heart lead you in this matter.

I have a question about St. Anthony, I am thinking of making use of him for finding someone I lost. (The person is not an official missing person, she is simply lost to me)

I realize sometimes he just says no, I have read a lot of this thread. If that does happen, will the situation one is working on become worse? Or would St. Anthony simply stay neutral?

If the saint does not answer you it simply means nothing is changing from them, I would expect it to be the same then unless you do new work. He is not a rude harsh saint who is going to punish you for asking something he wont do, if that is what you are asking.

I have read you can work with st. anthony to find love. I have already started working with st. jude so can I work with both saints for this or should I finish my work with st. jude first?

Hi Pegasus,

It really depends on how the saints feel about it, but occasionally, working with two saints on the same issue, can create the feeling that you didn't have faith in the first saint to come through for you. I'd check in with St. Jude to see if he's comfortable with you bringing St. Anthony in on this issue, and then, check in with St. Anthony to see if he's willing to share with St. Jude. If you get the feeling that one or both are uncomfortable, I'd wait until St. Jude has finished his work. But, if everyone seems amenable, then go for it!

Thanks for your help and kind assistance my dear San Antonio/Saint Anthony.

Must comment publicly than Saint Anthony granted an important petition last January. It was my mom's birthday and I wanted to give to her as present a book she was craving to own. I decided to buy it for her but could not find it in town, buying It online was not an option: the book would arrive at home many days after purchasing it. That exact day, I pray to Saint Anthony to find the book on the last book shop in town I was searching for it, in the rest shops there was no book, it was hard to find.
When I entered the book shop and asked for the book, the owner took the last copy they had,just one copy one
in town of a very very famous book in History and I could get one finally until I arrive home and could give it to my mom before her birthday day ended.

Appart from that, I also prayed to Saint Francis of Sales, the holy patron of books, book sellers, book writers, etc
Had to point this out because he helped me a lot with Saint Anthony.

It doesn't matter what it's lost, when my mom loses whatever, she prays to Saint Anthony and within seconds, she finds the items. The most shocking episode about this was when my mom lost an earring I give her for mother's day years ago, she started to pray and Saint Anthony moved her feet towards the oven; I prayed to Saint Anthony too and my feet went exactly to the oven area in the kitchen; we found nothing. Many days later, my mom was about to cook something in the oven and the earring was there inside the oven's door!; my mom remembered that days before she was cooking something in the oven and that had to be the moment when the earring fell down and was lost.
Have learned that from her, Saint Anthony always helps me with that, he makes my feet move on the direction where the lost item is.

St. Anthony is a wonderful Saint who can be prayed or petitioned for many reasons. He is known for helping those who lose items, an old Italian prayer I was taught as a child was, "St. Anthony, St. Anthony please come down (item) is lost and must be found". Without fail it has worked!

He can also be petitioned to help you find a lost person or lover. This is discussed in Hoodoo Return and Reconciliation Spells.

I was taught by my friends in Texas that taking a photo of the Saint and turning him upside down while petitioning will help him bring your answer quicker. Also common, are statues that come with baby Jesus able to be detached, you hold Jesus from St. Anthony until he answers the prayer.

you should get results after a few burns I would get a reading to check to see if the Saint is willing to work with you. I would continue to petition him while you wait, but set a time limit. If after 3 weeks I will stop my work.

A feast day for a saint is one to celebrate them, not to ask for favors. You would start the votive candle on Tuesday.
