I would say that in love you can see these type of situations happen, even with doing work. People are fickle, they may want you one day, met someone knew the next. He is dealing with certain things we have discussed this before and the readers have told me to be alert to him about this because he is going through something that may cause himself to either be distant or acting this way towards me but that if I can get through this hurdle with him of whatever he is dealing with then a beautiful loving relationship as a couple can form. I just wanna know is there anything else I can do in the meantime to help my situation with him. I'm not sensing that giving up on him is the answer just yet.

But if lavander love drops candle and road opener did not do much what other candles or things can you recommend that might work better or that are stronger? Or should I just reorder the same 2 candles from the church and try again see what happens?

I am so sorry you are going through this. The wisest words you have been given are above:

Please take that to heart and do not let this affect your self-esteem. You are worthy of good and lasting love from someone who gives it freely.

Without knowing what issues this man is struggling with, it would be hard to advise any new work to be done to help him through this blockage. You could return to one of your AIRR readers to gain clarity on exactly that issue, and they can advise on a course of rootwork to address that problem.

Meanwhile, you can continue with the work you're doing to draw him too you. A nice idea would be to add Balm of Gilead to your work, as this soothes past hurts (intentional or otherwise).

Well currently I am not doing any spell work. I live with 2 other people who are very nosy and so I cant order a spell kit or do any of the work myself due to my current living situation. As a result I have been ordering altar candles from the lucky mojo church and having them burn them on the church altar since I cant do a spell or any sort of work.

But I was not sure if it is recommended to reorder the same two candles again (lavender love drops, road opener) even though they gave me a good burn report on each since nothing really happened. The most I can do here on my end is buy some oils to wear for when I go see him or the lavender love drops mojo bag mentioned in the response above that I can carry with me when I go to see him or order more candles to have them light at the church. Hopefully something works. I appreciate all the lovely and helpful responses

Not every trick involves using candles, and elaborate rituals.

Taking a spiritual bath is a key part of hoodoo, you can bath in the water then take a few cups and pour it from his door to your door to lead him to you. You can light tea lights in your room at night on top of a photo of the target with a petition. You can work a doll baby, the mojo, even a sugar jar. You can hoodoo his food or drink, or items he will touch. sprinkle oils or powders to get on him, catch his footprint and put it in a container with powders and herbs to bring him to you. The options are really endless.

As a minimum I would continue candle service at the church, If he has the past issues, try a clarity candle for him to see straight and a road opener or block buster to open the path for him to see straight. A lavender love drop with a come to me candle, or lavender love drop with Q candle, or even a follow me boy candle is all good for love. You can order again, the good burn does not mean the work is over, it is just going well. I would keep it up.

Next time you see this person, try and get some personal items: hair, nails, semen if you have sex.. then use in the mojo or even a doll baby in work. The doll baby you can bath for him, pray over it for him, work clarity for his past issues.

So I have a huge dilemma. My roomate and me just got into a nasty argument. See we both had covid and i was off work for 2 and a half weeks. So i just went back to work this week and he returns next week so he basically wanted to shampoo the carpets at our place to help disinfect. Normally when he goes in my room he texts to ask my permission well today I was working and he did not text me. Anyhow I met an amazing guy and we have been dating a while.

He recently said he loves me and I feel the same so I ordered some glass candles and stand up 6 inch candles from lucky mojo with love me, come to me, and lavender love drops oil. Well my roomate blew out all my candles and threw away my petition paper that has a photo of me and the guy together. I don't know what to do? The candles all burned beautifully glass was clear as day. Stand up candles had no wax left after each one I burned. Do I need to start all over again? Am I screwed on the work I did? Please help. I have plenty of stand up candles and extra red and extra pink glass candles.

First of all, I am glad to hear you are recovered from this horrible virus! Best of luck to your roommate to get well soon, too.

I'm afraid that your work was interrupted, so you would want to start it again. It may have been taking shape well, and you may actually get results from a partial burn, but I would personally want to re-do the work.

Always make sure your candles are burning in a fire-proof location when you can't tend to them personally, and make sure your roomie steers clear of your personal space moving forward.

I can honestly say the universe works in mysterious ways! Since I wrote my reply things have happened. I decided to clean out my Room since my roommate had already started and I found the petition paper under my bed I guess my roommate thought he had thrown it away when he didn't so I was able to relight the candle and complete the work and the candles had no wax left in the end.

As I was cleaning my Room I came across a bottle of come to me lucky mojo oil that I had ordered a few months back and never used because I completely forgot I even had it! So I'm going to take a wild guess that the universe is sending me a message to continue the work and not let this minor setback distract me! So a little update: I talked with my guy. The reason he doesn't want us to be official yet and take things to the next level is because he has been cheated on and hurt a lot in past relationships and he is scared of loving and ending up crushed, used and hurt again.

I assured him I have been through that many times and would never wish that in my worst enemy so I would never hurt him. You know that thing where your heart tells you to do something but your brain says no? Well that's him. His heart is like pouring love to me and is telling him to take the next step and make it official. However his brain is telling him don't be stupid you'll end up getting hurt again.

I typically do Block Buster work first, to blast through any obstacles in the way, then do Road Opener to smooth the path forward. I find that has worked well for me and my clients, so it's just a thought.

So the update on the situation was I was just laying in my bed when I heard something crack. As soon as I looked up my red glass candle cracked in half and the top half of a candle fell off. This is my 1st time where I do 2 glass candles touching each other side-by-side. When I went to go pick up the glass the top half of the candle that had fallen off it was so hot that I burn my finger. I noticed that there was no wax left on the candle. It had already finished burning.

I'm just wondering if this was accidental due to the fact that I put both glass candles touching next to each other so the heat caused this and maybe this has nothing to do with my spell results? Or is this really related to something listed in the candle divinition page? My candles and work are still being done for the same guy I posted about before and things are continuing to go great. But that broken glass is the first time ever that it happened and worries me. I have been doing glass and 6in candles on him for over a month now and have had no problems with great results happening. Multiple readings have confirmed we are meant to be together. It sounds like the heat between both candles caused the vigil glass to crack; this is natural.
Nevertheless, I would take it into consideration. Maybe try to spell again (keeping the glasses just apart enough so they don't touch) and see if you get a similar outcome. If so, there might be obstacles in the way of what you're trying to accomplish.

Hi it appears I may need to do additional work on my candles. Right now I am burning the 6 inch red and 6 inch pink candles. I burn 1 of each every night. I burn a pink and a red solid glass candle each week along with the 6 inch candles. Currently I am using lavender love drops, come to me, love me, road opener, blockbuster, and influence oil. At first things were going well. We have been on a number of dates and he really likes me and is connecting well with me.

However now he has distanced himself and seems to have been avoiding my messages the past few days. I did another reading and it was confirmed he has a lot of stuff going on from a past relationship not because he has not moved on but because he was left heartbroken and the person left him for someone else and he worries that I would do this to him and leave him heartbroken. I think he might also get the vibe that things are moving too fast?

Hello all,

I hope this message finds you all well. I was writing in because I seem to have a bit of a situation going on and needed to see what you could recommend to help in my situation. I live with a roomate and he is the nosiest person you are ever going to meet. He is contantly going into my room to get stuff and he goes through my things. Talk about an invasion of privacy! So anyhow every time he goes into my room and sees a candle lit, he blows it out and when I get home he claims I should never have a candle lit as it is a fire hazard. I always make sure to light my lucky mojo glass candles in a place that is not a fire hazard. I have 6 inche lucky mojo candles that I light in a candle holder with lucky mojo oils and I only light those when I am home and can supervise the candle to make sure nothing serious happens. The 7 day candle is the only one I leave lit from start to finish.

My roomate constantly going in my room and blowing out my candles when I am not home is affecting my work and results greatly. Now I can't even get my lavender love drops candle to stay lit. The other day I hopped in the shower and when I got out he had blown out my 6 inch candle and my glass candle. What can I do in this situation? I have a small fire resistant safe in my room where I keep important documents. Would it be possible to put my candles in there and lock it so I can at least get my work done without my roomate interfering and blowing out my candles? I love lucky mojo product and have gotten great results in the past but with my roomate being such a pest I can't seem to get anything done! I am not sure if the safe would provide enough oxogen for the candle to burn. Can you talk to the roommate about the candle is a working and to let it burn, mutually agree on a spot to burn them? Can you buy a lock for your door to prevent the roommate from coming in? Other option is to burn the candle in sections, to snuff it out then relight it when you are home.

I was thinking about leaving the door to the safe open when I am home so the candle can at least get some air and then when I leave the house or go to work I can close the door. But since you mention there might not be enough oxygen I think it might not be a good idea.

I know my roommate won't agree on a place to leave the candle and since it's his place and I just rent a room from him I'm not sure he likes the idea of me putting a lock on the door as he mentioned it before.

I'm guessing my only option is to snuff out the candle and re light when I get home. Hopefully the energy is still as strong and can get me the same results.

Wetting your fingers and pinching out a free-tanding candle, or snuffing a glass-encased vigil light are old and perfectly good traditions. Many people who rent rooms use this method.

So, I was wondering if there was anyone who might give some thoughts on how to handle this situation, rootwork style.

I am a gay man, and one of my good friends identifies as straight, however he is, in a word, -strongly- affectionate towards me. He spends all day, literally 8 hours on the phone with each other, when he’s drunk he’ll rest his knee against mine or his arm. He told me if I was a girl he would already have asked me out, and he was not drunk then, for clarity. He spends almost every day with me. So much so that all his friends and his brother have individually asked if there was a thing between us. None of them would care, they just wanted the new relationship gossip. Though there isn’t, I believe we are extremely compatible romantically.

None of our mutual friends believe him to be straight, and frankly, neither do I. None of my other straight friends would dream of that level of emotional intimacy with another man, let alone admit to the compatibility as he has. He is aware of my feelings for him and the assorted topics around his sexuality and just doesn’t say anything about it. Nor does he do anything to dissuade their beliefs. As a result they just treat as a couple. It’s just expected that I know what he knows and we’ll show up together, and are already together (guess who I’m sitting next to, right now).

He routinely rejects the advances of women who seek him out, citing minor flaws or problems with the match. And I want to be clear, this is not a ‘make the straight guy fall in love with the gay guy’ request, I know that can’t be done. I have three years of anecdotal evidence and the word of a licensed therapist that he, more than likely, isn’t straight as it is.

I would work with Clarity to help him see clearly and Crucible of Courage to give him the extra push to come out. My situation is a bit different here. I like this guy but I have no clue if the man is gay or bisexual. Based on the first few pages of this thread I see it was addressed by other users that you cannot turn a gay man straight or a straight man gay. I get that part. But what do you do when you like someone and you have no idea if the man is gay or bisexual? Last time I had this happen to me I ended up asking the man if he was gay or bi and that I wanted to go out but it turned out weird and awkward for us when he told me he wasn't gay and we did not speak for weeks.

Now I have met someone else but I don't want to be rude or straight forward and be like "so are you gay or bi?" But at the same time I don't wish to pursue a person if they are not. Hello Mr. Christopher,

Thank you so much for the reply. I have ordered a pendulum from the link you provided. Once I get the pendulum and can confirm if the man is gay or bisexual I can proceed to order some of the oils you recommended should it turn out that he is gay or bi. In the meantime while I wait for my order I decided to test the waters a bit. So I took a 6" pink candle I had from lucky mojo and I carved his name and the words "love me" into the candle and dressed it with some of the lavender love drops oil. To my surprise the candle burned perfectly. No wax left whatsoever and the candle burned steady and evenly throughout and I said my meditations and prayers over him when I lite the candle.

So my question is, if the person is not gay or bi, is there a chance that the candle will still burn perfectly? Or does the spell work go bad when the person you are working on is not gay or bi? According to lucky mojo candle divinition page a candle that burns steady with no wax left is a very good sign that you may get your wish to come true but I have no clue how that works since I still need to confirm if he is gay or bi once I get my pendulum.

I agree with Mr. Christopher that obtaining a reading will be the best avenue to really dig down to assess the situation. One thing I did want to add regarding the ceromancy on your burn, or lack of if it left no remnants of the wax, another option is that this individual may not be gay however the spell worked in a way as to increase their affections towards you in a platonic manner. The spell can still have an effect regardless of the target's orientation without it necessarily have 'gone bad.'

If this had been a domination or commanding-type spell that -- without knowing -- was attempting to force something against someone's will/nature you'd most likely have seen a different outcome in the burn or, if it also burned clean, may have some unintended results in the short or long-term.

I hope this Monday morning finds you both well.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mama Vergi of Hoodoo Psychics for taking the time to do a detailed reading on my behalf. A pendulum reading was done and it was confirmed that yes the guy I am pursing is gay. It is also confirmed that yes we will end up in a relationship together. When asking if I can expect to see anything major (movement) between the two of us within the next two weeks, the pendulum came back as a yes. Tarot cards were also drawn after to confirm more information on the siutation and everything looks bright and positive so far.

On Saturday I ordered a lavender love drops candle from the lucky mojo spiritual church to have them light it at the alter since the lavender love drops and the road opener oils are burning all my 6" candles perfectly with no smoke and no wax left at all.

The thing is in the past when I have done readings to confirm if someone is gay the answer has been yes only for me to find out they are not gay after asking them out. How can I be certain that the reading is correct this time around? I really want this to work more than anything and my candles are burning so beautifully with no wax left and no smoke. I guess only time will tell within the next two weeks?

I agree with Mr. Christopher that there seems to be some self-doubt sneaking in here. Although it's not 100% clear when you say you've "done" readings in these situations whether that means you yourself or if you've commissioned readings in the past I'm going to go with the assumption for the time being that you've read for yourself in those instances . In addition to what was shared above to assist with this, one -- if albeit "uncustomary" -- oil I would recommend when conducting your readings would be to anoint your hands with Crown of Success before performing your readings. Hello Everyone,
Im new on here. I love it! I just made a few purchases. Im fairly new to the world of magick and even newer then to hoodoo. I been buying
lots of books. I have some of Mrs Aidas books and also Mrs Cat books. In fact I have a new book coming on this day by Mrs Aida about busting up relationships.
What I have to say is going to be a lot of reading but I will try and make it as brief as I can. Me and my boyfriend broke up. Im also a boy. We are both gay.
He got me into magick. Hes older than me by a few years. Im 18 and hes about to be 23. He is with someone new. The guy is the same age as him and hes a total creep. I dont even undertsnad one bit why hes with him. I made the decision a mnth ago that im going to use magick to bust them up and maybe even curse the SOB that hes with cause he spreads lies about me. He has poisoned my ex boyfriends mind against me. I think its justified and I dont know them but I think Mrs Aida and Mrs Cat would too. This big jerk doent even allow my ex to talk to me and we wernt just boyfriends we were best friendds. Its like my ex is brainwashed I just dont get it. And he listens to the guy. Anyways, I dont want to get all upset. Now down to business. I did some work with skull candle. I did everything like in Mrs Aidas book Cursing and crossing. And it worked, well kinduv. I messed up a little. I drilled holes into the brain and put petition papers in the appropraite areas with some poppy and lemon verbena and black walnut shells all grind up in my morter and pestal. I made nice little papers and wrapped my herbs in them like little tiny joints and then stuck them in the holes and sealed with black candle wax. What I wrote on the papers, is where I messsed up I think. I just wrote single words. On one I wrote "paranoid". My thinking was that my ex would become paranoid about his new boyfriend. I wrote "angry" on one and "confused" on another "nightmares" also. "having second thoughts" was the only one I wrote that was more than one word. I would then speak these words to the skull late at night. Sometimes I would blow marijuana smoke in its face while I was speaking to it maybe to add confusion. Well anyways, it worked wonders, except against me. A mutual friend of ours said that my ex told her Hes been having all kinds of nightmares all right, except about me!! She said hes all "paranoid" that the little busy bee is up to something. He even used the word paranoid she said except about me! A lot was said in the conversation and its more than apparent that the words I used did work except I left it so vague that all the feelings hes having are about me rather than his new boyfriend

Well, My question is, I ordered a bunch of stuff from here. I want to start over. All the products I ordered have to do with breaking up a relationship, reconciliation, and stuff to use with another skull candle, influence insence to speak through and various herbs, poppy, more lemon verbena, black walnut leaves and i think deer tongue. I orderd a lot. I also ordered stuff to possibly curse his partner. Dume powder and Goofer dust and black arts oil were some. Ok but heres my question : How do I cancel out the work ive done so I can start fresh? Should I use like a white skull candel and do some blessing bath salts on it maybe? And then proceed with my black skull to manipulate? Right now im not really gonna do love work. Ill do that after I break them up. I have a 3 part plan. Break them up, and also curse his boyfriend. I might actually start with the curse, then do break up work. Part 2 is reconciliation that I dont necesarilly have to start after they break up but that will come second. If thats all sucessful then ill start some return to me work. Oh and as far as personal concerns go, I have evrything. His underwear. Hair from his brush. Semen rag from when we had sex. Cigarette filters. But he has a lot of mine to so must be careful cause hes been practicing magick longer than I have and if he thinks im up to something he will do it back to me. he would never hurt me tho. He loves me a lot. So, what should I do to erase the work ive done to him and start fresh? My suppllies should be coming soon.

Well...there's certainly a LOT there. Let's see if we can't break this down.

First, my suggestion would be to dispose of the remnants of your first attempt. You'll want to take it and toss it into a body of moving water, like a river, to put a stop to it and carry it away.

Second, since it worked, you're going to need to take steps to cleanse the previous working from your intended target. Take a look at the Uncrossing products and spells.

Third, if it's your intention to begin again, you'll most certainly want to pay attention to your petitions. There's power in them there words! Make them as specific as possible.

Curse/jinx work needs to be done with precision, and it can be a multiple-step process. You'll also want to make sure you're cleansing yourself before and after.

As I often say here on the forum, I highly suggest you have a reading done to look into the particulars of this situation before proceeding on to step 3 above. There may be more underlying information that isn't readily available. There also may be several avenues of workings to explore that hadn't been considered. If you look at our profiles me and you have lots of the same interests. Almost in the same order. Do you think saying someones a "busy bee" or "oddball" can be terms of affection or are they slanderous? He told my friend whats the "busy bee" been up to? He said adorable but that hes an "oddball". he never spoke like that about me before. Always nice words, until he met this guy. I know he goes to the bar often now. He never went when we were together. if we get back together im not going to put up with an alcoholic boyfriend. We did all kinds of fun activities together and drinking alcohol wasnt one of them. I think once I have more funds I will get a reading. I have to wait till next week or the week after. If i get the uncrossing products, how would you suggest I use them? As far as the skull candle I used, I did the same way pretty much to connect to his spirit, to get it out. I did with my fingers the cross in the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit and I held it up in the air and said " You are no longer XXX!! His spirit is his own and has nothing to do with this candle!! This skull is merely a candle now representing a mold of wax and nothing else!!! And then I smashed it to the sidewalk, collected the pieces in a brown bag and threw it in the ocean. Do you think that will suffice?

- The reason he's paranoid of you is that you spoke to the skull. He heard your voice in his head. Never do skull work where you want to hide your intention.
- It seems like maybe overdoing the curse on the new boyfriend. You're bringing an atomic bomb to a knife fight. Put the Dark Arts and Dume oil down.
- You cannot undo the skull candle work, he heard your voice. The healing candle not going to make things better.
- Since you smashed the candle, and tossed it in the ocean not going to be able to use those again. At best, using Uncrossing Oil http://www.luckymojo.com/oil-uncrossing.html, make a paper doll,
baptize it, put some Uncrossing on your thumb, and make the sign of the cross 3 times on his forehead.

- Think about why you broke up, did he break up with you, or did you break up with him, did you see this relationship going anywhere?

Well as far as our relationship goes, he was my first real relationship. We were together a year but ive known him longer than that. I wanted to get married to him and have a house and even adopt children some day. We were going to start with pets since we both like animals a lot and i already have 5 cats. He broke up with me. He said I would be better suited to find a boyfriend my age that wanted to do all the things I did. He told me he wanted a long term relationship. He always said he wanted us to have a life together. I asked if he wanted to get married someday and he said yes. Then he just started acting like he wanted to be a partyboy or something and not wanting a real adult relationship. I told him we have to save our money so we can get a home together. He started changing his mind. He said he felt he was leading me on and that i was getting more serious than he wanted at this point in his life. Im younger than he is! He needs to think about working, and school maybe, saving money, and being a good partner, not just having fun and going to parties. He said I deserve someone better but I love him and I want us back together and I know im better for him than this barfly that hes with now. This guy doesnt even seem to care about his well being or his health. Just partying! I actually care about him and this jerk doesnt and its obvious. I want him on the right path for his life and this guy doesnt even seem to care about that. He still talks to my Dad because there jobs have to do with one another. He always asks him how im doing. I know he cares about me. I know we can have a good life together hes just being led down the wrong path. I think I will try the breakup spell you suggested. I make my own candles but I have all the other stuff already or on the way from LuckyMojo. I have great success with skull candles and aspecially doing curses. Why does my negative work always have such great results but things that are more positive, maybe not so much? I understand you are in pain... The spells you suggested are again a bomb to a knife fight. Just because you have the stuff to do the work does not mean the work is justified. If the work is not justified it will not work. Cursing works better because you have emotion behind it. The blessing work you don't have the same draw. At 18 you cannot go into bars, and drink and party. You are not existing in his world. Can he come back to your world yes, but he has to choose that.

Do the moving candle spell, if you don't have a figure candle, you can use pillars or glass-encased candles.

You would drink and bathe in hyssop tea after the work is done while reading 51st Psalms https://readersandrootworkers.org/wiki/Psalms_51.
Make a cup of hyssop tea, drink half, then after you shower pour the other half on your forehead and read 51st Psalms, "I bathe in hyssop".

Before doing any more work against your ex, I suggested bathing in Rue, and Lemon Mint, to clear your head and remove any attachments.

Causing him to break up with his new boyfriend will not make him automatically come back to you. The whole waiting 2-3 weeks and no sex during that time.

Im also going to work another skull because i have good success the times ive use them I just have to make my petitions more specific in this matter. I know if I can break them up he will come back to me, eventually. I just know it. Hes never mean to me. He told me he loves me lots of times. he even told my parents that. My parents at first didnt like the idea of us being together cause of his age but when they saw how good we were together and how caring he was with me they quickly changed there minds. Anyways, Thanks for the advice. I will take some of it. Most of it. Except im still going to curse his boyfriend I think. He has told enough lies about me and manipulated my ex enough for my curse to be justified in my opinion. And I think the Universe will agree. How long have you been practicing magick? A lot of conversation has transpired since my initial response, let's see if we can't catch up a bit.

Firstly, I went and looked at your profile and yes, we definitely do seem to appreciate many of the same things! That's one thing about this forum, you'll find many folks share a commonality and that's one reason it's been an invaluable resource for so many that Lucky Mojo and it's proprietors have gifted to us. As a member of AIRR I'm continuously grateful for the conversations and creativity sparked on each and every thread!

In considering your question about being called a "busy bee" or an "oddball" being slanderous or affectionate, to be honest, not being partial to the entire conversation or really knowing the theme of the conversations in which these terms were used it's near impossible to tell. I wouldn't call them necessarily slanderous per se, but at the same time I wouldn't attach an overall sense of affection to them; I'd leave them be, just as they are, and not debate their merits or factor them into your considerations for workings moving forward.

While there are many suggestions that could be provided for use of Uncrossing products -- a quick search of this forum will return many! -- you've (at least partially) put the initial skull candle working to rest, which is a start. I say partially because, while true the ocean can effectively carry things away, you're working against the ebb of the tide. As much as the shore is slowly eroded away and carried out to sea, so will the remnants of your working slowly make their way out to the depths. That's why casting these things into running water -- like a river, or very strong stream -- is generally the way to go about disposing of these materials, they're quickly whisked away from you and off to parts unknown. This is described a little on the Uncrossing page, under the spell for 'Burning Uncrossing Candles to Reverse a Jinx Onto Your Enemy." Don't despair though, we're not talking weeks, months, or longer, at most a few days.

In reading through your responses I've gathered you're quite fond of using skull candles in your workings, and they can be especially useful when doing what many call "sneaky tricks" where you're attempting to conceal your participation. Talking to a skull candle, doll baby, or other item representing a spell's target is quite common in a lot of workings and can add additional layers to the work itself. For instance, talking to a skull candle before lighting it is considered to be "priming" or "prepping" the candle for use. But, much like with specificity in writing petitions, you want to be very clear and concise with what you say. Words have power!

In considering everything you've shared about the situation you're trying to work on I definitely want to reiterate, especially before you launch into more cursework, to be sure to have a reading! Throwing curses can get complicated quickly, and it's not always easy to backtrack or reverse unexpected outcomes. I'm approaching nearly 30 years in my career as a reader, worker, etc. and whenever moving forward after deciding that cursework is justified I still take time to carefully plan it out, doubly that if it's a personal situation, regardless of how I'm feeling.

Another question you posed I wanted to respond to, "Why does my negative work always have such great results but things that are more positive, maybe not so much?" My first thought was 'practice makes perfect' in that perhaps you've just not done as many -- in your words -- positive workings as you have otherwise. Also, it brought to mind the question of passion being put into the work. When we're driven by emotion it can blaze like a wildfire and reflect in our workings. Have you been as emotionally invested in your positive works as your negative? Have you been as focused on your positive works as your negative? Just some thoughts to spark some reflection for you.

Good morning again Mr. Christopher and Reverend Art.

Thank you once again for taking the time to help me out! I really appreciate all you guys do. I had to knock some common sense into my head. The reading I did with Mama Vergi came back positive as I stated in my last reply and the candles are burning perfectly. No wax left. Clean even burn. Flame is strong and no smoke at all. I realized I have to stop doubting and trust in the universe. The answer was two weeks for something major to happen so when the two week period is up I will see where I am at with my situation. I took the doubt away and am trusting in the universe.

I was thinking about that follow me boy oil you guys mentioned before. My question is, since my candles are already burning so well with the lavender love drops and road opener oils would it still be recommended to buy the follow me boy oil and use it as well? I don't know if adding too many types of oils to the candles/ into the mix would be bad for the work itself? What if I used lavender love drops and road opener on the candle and use follow me boy to dress on myself only so when I am walking around him he smells my follow me boy oil scent?

Follow Me Boy would be a great product to work with. You can wear it like a body oil, put a little in your hair, on your wrist. There is a mum smell to it, not a super sexy smell. You can also use the sachet powder, as a body powder. You can add it to candle work.

Waiting the two weeks as described by Mama Vergi before commencing further to see what develops would most likely be ideal, throwing additional works into the mix in the interim may change whatever that outcome was to be. The situation is complex already, we wouldn't want to add additional complexity or potentially hinder any positive outcomes that could be on the horizon. To be honest, developing a practice of meditation and centering yourself early on in life can be an enormous benefit in the long-term. It's clear you're quite fond of candle magic and using condition oils...I am too, they're some of my favorite ways to work actually, I and completely understand the allure! However, in your practice, don't discount the potential that several other methods and products can have. For instance, do you have something of your ex's that "may need returned" meaning, could conveniently work in your favor? Dust it lightly with some Follow Me Boy sachet powder -- just enough so it's not detectible -- and send it back to him. Or, is there an item of clothing that may have been left at your house? You can wash it, adding some Return to Me bath crystals to the rinse cycle while you're "nicely washing it before returning it." Just a couple thoughts, lol.

Good morning Mr. Christopher and Rev Art.

I hope this week has been good for you both. I wanted to start by saying thank you for your help with my situation. I truly am grateful. Just an update. So it has been just over two weeks since I started to burn candles for the guy I like and I still have no movement at all. This Saturday will have completed a full two weeks since I did my reading with Mama Vergi. I am still burning my 6 inch candles along with my lavender love drops and road opener oils. This week I started adding the follow me boy oil to my candles. The flames started to jump and go crazy but still no smoke, no resistance, and the candles burn completely with no wax or signs left. So I took this as a very good sign since the divination page of lucky mojo shows this as a very good candle burn. The thing is after two days no more dancing flame. Even though my air vent is closed in my room for some reason I think the air is penetrating through the vent somehow which may have caused my flames to dance around because as soon as the air turns off, the flames stopped dancing. It's not like I had my candle underneath the vent. The candle is on the other side of the room.

Aside from the amazing candle burns I have not seen not even a smudge of movement and am not sure how to proceed. I will keep the work going and give it until Saturday since that will complete two weeks since my reading with Mama Vergi but am not sure what else to do at this point. The reading did say two weeks to see movement but I got nothing as of yet. As you guys have stated before the situation is complex and I don't want to hinder the outcome by making a move just yet unless you think it is the right thing to do. I have been reciting song of Solomon 1: 1-4 as that bible verse is about someone kissing you and loving you. I have a lavender love drops glass candle that I ordered to burn at the lucky mojo spiritual independent church which should be done burning by now. At the end of last week I ordered a road opener candle and a follow me boy candle to have burned at the church.

If the two weeks come and nothing, ask the guy out. Worst case he says no, best case, he was shy. You don't have to make it a date, you can say hey want to come over and play PS5 after work, or I am starving and want to get a sandwich, if he says no, I got to meet the girlfriend, that's your answer. All signs pointing to yes, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Thank you for sharing your update! Oftentimes folks will post on here, get advice or guidance, and go off on their way and I -- for one -- often sit and wonder "Whatever happened to so-and-so?"

One thing I'd like to say about air flow in a room, it can be a very tricky thing, especially when it comes to candles. Here in the mountains we don't have a traditional forced-air furnace or HVAC system that most are used to for home heating and cooling. Still, sometimes even the most innocuous sources of movement in the air can interact with a burning candle. A door opening in the hallway, someone walking by or the displacement of air as we move closer to our candle, even wind blustering outside can seem to find a way to affect the air flow of a room despite how well sealed.

One thing I did when determining the best place to set up for candles to burn was to light a stick of incense and place it where I was intending to set my lights and observed how the smoke acted. Came to find out there were subtle "breezes" in places where, you'd think, none should be! One that surprised me the most was imperceptible to me outside of using the smoke...it was coming in through an electrical outlet on an exterior wall on a very windy day, and not even a wall where the wind was hitting directly! Your thought that maybe air flow is being generated from a closed vent is most likely 100% spot-on. If you can't burn incense to check a room's air flow (which I prefer just because it produces a good amount of smoke that disperses into a room allowing you to see the flow patterns) you can spot-check likely sources using a match that's lit and blown or shaken out and held near the suspected source.

My first thought on not seeing movement in the two-week time period is that, well, there are still twoish+ days left. My first question is, outside of the candles being burned for this intention, what other actions are being taken to further the work? By this I mean has there been any attempt at interaction/communication with said individual -- platonically, professionally, or otherwise -- over the course of the past two weeks? If no interactions, have you been within the same location/within a reasonable proximity where you'd be able to see them and them you? Not knowing the temperament/personality of the other party I'm not one to say "Yes! Go make a move!" without carefully weighing the potential outcomes...my background in corporate risk management always has me assessing situations from an exhaustive number of angles, lol.

Assessing 'movement' while working spells can sometimes be a very nuanced practice and sometimes there can be signs that are missed -- or dismissed out of hand -- if we're not being vigilant in our observations. 'Movement' is a widely defined term...it can mean anything from a flower dropping a petal to having someone express their love for another using a flash mob and a full orchestra in the middle of Times Square at rush hour. The point I'm trying to make is that movement doesn't have to be drastic to be meaningful. If you think back over the past (almost complete) two weeks are there things that maybe you noticed and thought "was that a sign?" or "did I see that right?" or "what was that sound?" that could indicate movement? Before taking next steps these are some of the things I would consider.

Thank you both again for taking the time to answer me back. Regarding the asking him out, you are right Mr. Christopher the worst he can do is say no. I guess part of me is just nervous myself not knowing what he will say. But sometimes we just need to bite the bullet and go for it. Reverend Art, signs can be a bit tricky which is why I don't really pay attention to them. They can also drive you crazy if you focus on them too much and I have learned throughout the years not to focus too much on the signs and focus more on the work being done and your goal in the end. I work as a supervisor in a call center. The other day I had a client who requested a supervisor call. The client has the same first name as me and his last name is my targets first name so I took that as an instant good sign.

But then there was today. I stumbled across this video on instagram. There was a guy who brought a cake and flowers for someone he liked. He tripped and fell on top of the flowers and the cake went flying. Someones reply to the video was "The universe is telling you she is not the one." So I get two "possible" signs. One good and one bad. I see him just about everyday. I have been wearing my pride shirts a lot lately. I also added a pride sticker decal to my car since the soccer decal I had peeled off due to the sun. I was hoping this would at least get the ball rolling. I figured if he has no clue that I am gay perhaps now he can feel more comfortable and ask me out. There is also the possibility of giving it those remaining two days. Aside from us talking just about each day, there really is no action being taken aside from the candles I have lit. Also with Valentines day recently passing, it is hard to assess heart shapes and love signs when most likely it is just due to Valentines day everywhere. I will try a stick of incense later when I get home and see how that reacts to the airflow.

That's unfortunate about the loss of the soccer decal...once upon a time I played, coached and refereed. A back injury sadly ended my soccer participation, I definitely miss it!

I completely understand the "trickiness" of signs, I've had many clients that have sworn that everything under the sun was a sign in their favor -- same for against -- absolutely convincing themselves to the point where open discussion was practically worthless. It takes a good deal of self-honesty to build the discernment needed to decide what is, or is not, a sign that a working is going in any particular way. For myself, when watching for signs, should I note something that's questionable on it's being an actual sign I bust out my trusty ole' pendulum and dig in on clarifying the situation.

It's interesting the dichotomy between the two possible signs you've mentioned. Especially if the video you "stumbled" across happened to pop up while you were randomly scrolling. They definitely do call out two sides of the coin it seems. For me, taking into account the reading and everything else shared to this point, I don't think I'd discount either one per se. They could be taken in conjunction as well, in a "It's not no, it's just not now" sort of way, speaking to the previous two week time frame. It could very easily be that while you're seeing "signs" of potential movement that the movement isn't something that is blatantly knowable. For instance, one scenario could be that there's been movement in his feelings towards you and a growing interest in connecting with you is blossoming, but he's extremely adept at keeping these feelings to himself until he's ready and willing to reveal them. Without seeing them personally, to me your clean burns would imply to me that there's something positive happening. You're definitely waving the banner letting him know your openness about who you are, that can only support what you're working on.

One thing I'm curious about...you say you talk almost every day. How do those conversations go? Are they strictly about work? Or is it more like "watercooler talk?" What's his behavior during these conversations? Is his body-language closed off (like arms crossed, feet turned in, etc.), open (animated, feet turned out, etc.), or sending mixed signals?

If the two weeks have expired and there haven't been any signs of movement enough to make you comfortable in approaching him more informally and testing those waters it'd be completely reasonable to have a follow-up reading done to assess the "where are we now" questions.

Yes, unfortunately because I live in Florida and the sunshine can be so brutal during certain times of the year the stickers fade and crack and often times they only last a couple of months before you end up having to replace it with something else. I am sorry to hear of your injury but I hope you are doing much better now

I wanted to say that I have all my mojo in my motivation back! So I went back to hoodoo psychics and did a quick last minute reading again with Mama Virgi. She did a quick pendulum reading (no cards this time), the and it confirms that yes when I ask him out, he will say yes to going on a date. It also confirmed that yes there will be additional dates, and that yes I can expect things to move in a very positive way very soon.

I get nervous especially in asking him out. As far as our conversations go most days, we just talk about work, but other times we talk about our interests in general. I know he’s a soccer coach for children and a local league in the city we live in. Body language I always see him checking me out and when I look up, he looks away as if he wasn’t just checking me out. I won’t see him again until probably sometime tomorrow night if I don’t end up seeing him tonight. But as soon as I do this, I will give you guys an update! Very excited yet nervous all in one!

I'm happy to hear Mama Vergi was able to add additional layers to your situation johnnyr860! Hoodoo Psychics is a great option for "instant" readings when they're needed. I always enjoy my time on there, helping clients.

It sounds like the 'movement' that was being watched for may very well have been subtly there, hiding just below the surface.

Don't forget, when you go to actually ask the question, you can use the condition oils you have in much the same way you would cologne! Dab a little on the wrists, neck, etc. to add a little extra magic on your side.

If you'd like to you can even combine two or more, just take a few drops of each and mix them together.

Do you happen to have any 'love herbs' on hand? Like the Love Herbs mixture? If you have the time before your encounter you could use them - or any love-related herbs you have on hand - and add some of the Lavender Love Drops oil you have to annoint the herbs, brew them into a 'tea' and perform a spiritual bath in preparation of that meeting.

Just a couple of ideas to keep things working in your favor!

Well I did it!! I was nervous to all hell and my heart was exploding out of my chest but I wore my lucky mojo oils and got right to it. My roommate and his girlfriend got back from the gym and totally ruined the moment. We were talking and I told him that I needed to ask him something and he said sure anything.

Right as I’m asking the question you can hear the jiggling of the front door handle. It was my roommate and his girlfriend, returning for the gym. I finished my question just in time, but then the door slams wide open and my roommate says hello.

So my guy looks at me with his ginormous smile on his face and says I have to go but I will be back in a little while so we can talk about it. Is that OK? And I said sure that sounds great. It’s not a no, but it’s also not a yes. So I’m still a little nervous, but he is expecting to return a little later tonight to talk about once my roommate leaves to the movies with his girl. I know he had somewhere he was going to. I will keep you posted with what ends up being the final result. I had told him that this was a conversation I wanted to have for a while when my roommate and his girlfriend were not at the house, which is also why I believe that he had stated he wanted to talk about it later instead of right then and there.

Well so much for that 🥲 he came back. First he was all like “what did you try to tell me earlier before your roommate walked in on us? I’m sorry I bolted so fast.” So he is trying to play the I forgot what you asked me card.

When I went to ask him out and told him I had asked him out he said he was flattered but he isn’t gay and likes females. I told him I’m bisexual but lean more towards guys and he said we could still be friends and “chill” but that was about it.

Not sure where I went wrong. Amazing candle burns and two pendulum readings by mama vergi confirming that he likes me, he’s gay, and that we would end up being a couple. I even meditated for the universe to bring us some alone time so I could talk to him and I even got it! So either he is lying (which the readings missed) and he is gay or there was something off about the candle work I did and the readings. Not sure what else to do here. I’m still waiting on a follow me boy candle and road opener to finish burning at the church.
