My daughter is happy in her apartment, that is in a house. Her landlord can't make up his mind if he wants to keep the house or sell the house. If he sells the house my daughter will have problems finding the same type of place -- an affordable apartment for her, her son, and two pets that is close to public transportation (as she doesn't drive) and close to her son's school. How can we influence the Landlord NOT to sell the house and to allow my daughter to continue living there at the same rent (the area is becoming gentrified and prices are skyrocketing), at least for 5 years. Hello everyone,

I have a issue I need assistance with. My old house we used to rent, is now available in the market for new tenants. I have been having dreams, day dreams and fantasies about getting that house back. It is an amazing house. The rent we used to pay was $1100, then $25 extra/year but now....the agency wants $1450/month. Which is absolutely ridiculous. I asked the agent if they could lower the price, all she said was $1400 is the lowest they can go. I am desperate to get it back any means necessary. What type of work can I do to get them to lower the rent on this house? I'm sure it wont stay on the market long enough?

Hi everyone,

As I always get such good advice on this forum, I have another issue I need some help on (apologies if this is in the wrong section). I'm currently renting an adorable little in-law suite that is attached to a main house on one wall. It's a great place- it's close to work, relatively safe, affordable, and it just has a nice energy. I don't feel like I have to sage every week (unlike most of my previous places). However, my landlady is a bit of an issue. I don't think she's a bad person, though she's really kooky and has horrible taste in men (divorced 5 times at the age of 48 and currently has a really creepy boyfriend

). My biggest issue is her two miniature schnauzers. They're not mean dogs but she does not discipline them at all- they bark non-stop, jump on you when you try to walk by, you have to shoo them away from the gate to make sure they don't escape out of the yard and take off and run around the neighborhood, and they howl whenever she leaves (seriously- for 3 hours straight last night while she was on a date). She even forgets to seal off the doggy door at night some times and they get out and yip and howl at midnight when I have to be at work at 8am. I've tried to talk to her about it but she doesn't do anything to control them and is starting to get an attitude when I ask her to keep them quiet at night and early in the mornings because I have to work (she doesn't work- we used to work for the same company but she quit after her job was outsourced because she didn't like the outsourcing company).
What's the best plan of action here? I don't want to hurt or even get rid of the dogs, I just want them to not be obnoxious. And I also know that it's not really the dogs' faults that they're badly behaved- it's their owner's responsibility. Any suggestions? I could try a skull candle on her but I don't know if that's the most direct course of action in this case or what roots to use other than licorice root.

Second, if she leaves them barking past 10 p.m., that's a violation of the noise ordinance, and you could report that to the police. Just ask that you remain anonymous. That will get her attention for sure.

Third, I think some coercive-type candle work would be in order, with oils like Domination and Do As I say and roots like licorice. If she's just be difficult about it.

Thank you for the advice! I'm digging through the honey jar forum (and trying to sift through all the ones geared towards romance). I'm thinking of starting it tomorrow as Monday can be associated with working for things in the home. Is that a good idea or should I wait until Friday? When I first moved in she didn't seem to realize that I'm her tenant, not her friend and I don't want her to be all up in my business. Also, as I'm a little frustrated with her, should I wait until I'm a little less miffed at her or go ahead anyways?
I've looked up my county's noise ordinance but they're not clear about how they handle dog barking late at night- especially since I live within the same property lines as her. They're clear about noise across property lines, but I don't know how they'd handle my situation. Not to mention that on the whole, my local police are more of a nuisance than a help.
I'm looking up different domination spells as well and have ordered Domination Oil as well as Peaceful Home oil.

What an annoying situation, I am so sorry you are going through this.

Do start your honey jar sooner rather than later, as they are slow to activate but can be quite powerful over the long run. Since you are trying to sweeten the relationship, calm yourself as much as possible and approach your work from more of a positive attitude and less angered.

Update:
I have been trying the honey jar and other spells as suggested however now my landlady is allowing her dogs to crap on my doorstep and refuses to clean it up. Suggestions? She’s being an absolute bitch. I don’t usually like cursing anyone but I’d welcome any suggestions on what I can do to change the situation. Is there a spell that will keep her dogs away from my door?

You could lay down a line of hot foot powder around your door and as your do so pray something like, "My landlady and her dogs cannot cross this line," over and over. You could also report her to the police and say she is harassing you.

Legally, she's in a gray area right now. Until she fully crosses into illegal territory (which she is walking a fine line- she lied about a lot of things that would have prevented me from signing the lease and it's not the dogs that are the issue for that), I don't want to call the police. I will try hotfooting the door though. Maybe 4 Thieves vinegar on her doorstep to get her to leave me alone too??

For the rest of the Americans (I had to look this up too!), planning permission is our equivalent of zoning. If you are going to do any construction, you have to get the proper zoning changes.

HappinessRules, if you feel like there are obstacles holding you back to getting this permission, Blockbuster products would be the way to go. If you feel like your roads are just blocked, try Road Opener.

Good morning as you can tell it is 3am I have been up all night do to assholes of a neighbour,we have reported them over and over to landlord and nothing done so they have the upper hand. We have been living here 7 yrs and it has been quiet until these animals moved in.Now is there a way to get landlord to take our side and have them removed because the landlord needs more dates and proof who CH we have presented already and nothing. Your post is difficult to understand because of the acronyms in it, but yes you could use an Essence of Bend-Over candle on your landlord. Have you also read over the other pages in this thread like Miss Aida recommended you do?

I just thought I let you guys know that I was able to keep my rent low with my honeyjar and candle spell. I was informed by several residents that the rent was going up $100-$150 dollars due to the complex being bought by new owners.I saw a bunch of listings for vacant apartments. I combined commanding, controlling, influence, and compelling oil on a purple candle and I made a honeyjar. My rent is still affordable.

Hi All,
I am getting ready to move out of my unit, and I want to make sure I get back a good amount of my deposit. When I was moving in the property manager made a comment saying not to expect getting me deposit back because they rarely guve them back... The unit had several issues upon move in, which I made sure to document on my move in check list. I wonder what I can do to get some of it back-suggestions?

would a honey jar be a good thing, or having them see the unit returned in the same condition with minimal repair/cleaning that would require them to give back some of my deposit, id appreciate at least 50 to 70% back...

I am having some problems with the manager of the place where I live. This lady is an evil woman. She evicted a few tenants from the complex out of spite and now she's set her eye on my wife and I dont know how to get her off my back. This can be done using a few methods but many of them work well together. First I would cleanse your apartment top to bottom back to front, then clean the stoop or door step. Ammonia is a great use, Pray to clean away negativity as you clean. I do not know what resources you have so I will give general advise and then links to great LM products to help. Burn sage to to cleanse the space too. Set a white candle in each room after it is cleaned dressed with olive oil to seal the room. Why cleanse? to get rid of any negativity of her or anyone else put on you.

I worked with an evil women who would "go off" on people and attack them for weeks on end as her prey. She was the boss which made it even harder. I would wear stop gossip oil ( LM product) and slippery elm in my shoes ( herb) both known to stop and prevent you from gossip and slander, basically evil people.

Another idea is to put her name with your name in a honey jar around a petition to be sweet and like you and keep you in this home. Burn a purple candle on it to influence her.

You can also freeze her in a freezer spell to leave you alone. Cool her heals. Put a photo of her, a name paper, personal item she touched, her handwriting, her hair whatever you can get of her then put it in water in a container pray for her to leave you alone and freeze her from messing with your family.

If you have a skull candle you can use products to influence her thoughts or set her on another person.

Do you work with Saints? Some use St. Jude for difficult and impossible situations, or St. Joseph for housing and home work, Think of him as the carpenter and also how he had to find shelter for Mary and baby Jesus.

Spell to STOP Landlord and new relator he hired to come into my rental during this final month of my 6-year lease and quick.

My lease of six years is over I am moving out of state within 25 days and I still have to secure a new rental out of state. but my landlord is pressing in on me with his need to bring in a realtor to sell the house while I am trying to get it together to leave. I want to make him back the heck off and still give me a good reference and I need to get something done FAST. I want to get the landlord to back off and calm down and just let me move out and then try to sell the house. I want the relator to simply go away as in never show up. I do not want to hear a peep out of them before I move. This has to bet accomplished right away. I am leaving tomorrow to travel to find a home, so I will not be around to protect it.

My landlord- a problem landlord who would not fix things, and who would place blame instead, tried to sell the house himself 6 months ago and failed to do it properly so the sale fell through now in the final month of my lease. idiot.
Now he wants to bring in a realtor at a time that I am trying to move out and also do magic. I have spells up and around. I do not want anyone in here , He put a for sale sign in front of the house and it has fallen down twice and his phone number has disappeared from it. Not from anything I did. I replaced the sign once and told him. People have invaded my privacy and knocked on the door. My evil eye protective amulet was vandalized off my front door. I did find it in the grass by the hose>
He just called me and I am about to leave town for 10 days and then return and pack. I do not want anyone in my house except for my trusted house sitter. I want them to wait until I have moved out. I want to just tell him it is not my problem that he made the mistake of doing incorrectly the first time. but I need these three weeks to move out in peace. My privacy is of the utmost importance. But at the same time I need them to give me a reference and being cooperative is part of a reference, right? AND this has to happen fast, As I need to leave tomorrow early. so I may need to do something that can be done long distance. I would put back off oil on the door handle, but, I do not want to alienate my petsitter by mistake. I need help asap...I recently moved into an apartment on 11-17-2018 and want to get out of my lease,because there are some sort of brown markings in the top corner of my son closet. We are on the first floor and reside by lots of trees etc..I have sprayed and sprayed to keep bugs from coming in but nothing is working. My son and I can’t sleep because all we think about is bugs crawling over us...I am going to reach out to the property manager in the morning but need suggestions of how to get out of lease without her being so difficult...I would like for everything to run smoothly and a complete full refund.

The brown stuff or whatever has really put the icing on the cake with my decision to continue living here

@SheliaSky I suggest you work with Saint Expedite for a fast outcome. There is a section for that in this forum. You would write a petition and do the work associated with Saint Expedite.

Dress a purple candle with Compelling oil would be another suggestion. Other products that might help:

@TEK In a situation like that, you are paying money to live in a shit hole and if you explain it the right way to the landlord he will have to understand that due to the conditions you will need to break the lease. Has he done anything to help your situation? If he has and the problem is not resolved or if he hasn't, either way that is a good reason to break the lease and you may want to bring up legal matters with him to influence him to agree with breaking the lease without issues.

You can also use Hoodoo in a number of ways for this. Just like the previous post I made, you could use the same products and suggestions.

Sounds like your landlord needs to be put on ice to cool down, IE put him in a freezer to cool his heels on this move out part. Also commanding items such as licorice, calamus root, to tell him what to do.

You signed a lease which is a legal agreement to the place. You need to read over it to see if any way out of it based on the items in the house. You can use I can you cant products to make them do your will, as well as commanding products. Licorice, Calamus root, place the manager of the apartments name in your shoe as you talk to him and tap it to insert your control over him. A skull candle to control his thoughts, dressed with commanding oil and commanding powder and the herbs mentioned above. I have all of them in a honey jar since last week. Also, I have them in my left shoe and anointed with a dab of honey, Do as I Say and Bendover. Is it ok for me to use a black skull candle with Do As I Say and Bendover oil with poppy seeds?

@JayDee, I think I can buy out of lease early, but I am going to confirm with office. I was told that Pest control would come out last Wednesday but he never showed up. The maintenance supervisor came out to look at the smear and he had no idea what it could be. He left for 5 minutes and came back to quickly clean the area, but then tried to blame the painters for missing several areas

I didn’t see the other areas, he is blaming on the company that paints their vacancies....

Another question..over the doorway my room there are a small nail on each end..what does that mean?

Yes you can use a candle like that as you described. Though you dont really want to cause confusion you want him to listen to you, so use herbs that demand attention and to do your will like licorice and calamus root.

Im not for sure what the nails mean, could be poor carpentry work, nailed up to hold something, or some people nailed to protect.

@TEK the nails could have been used for running cable around the door frame, if they are regular nails. It could mean something else though especially if they are square nails or out of place looking nails (rail road spikes just as a bad example lol).

The front door would also mean something else.

I know you have received replies already and I don't want to overstep anyone, but I think there are several things you should consider.

If management has called in pest control but they haven't showed up, ask for another appointment. This would be your first line of defense in breaking your lease, as you will have shown good faith in seeking a resolution. If you have not seen bugs in your apartment, the brown spots may be something else entirely. Worst case, you can get pest control to clear up any unseen problems.

If they refuse or are uncooperative, then you can make a case for breaking your lease.

Meanwhile, if you are working spells on the landlord, I would advise against anything centered on coercion or domination unless you know this is the only kind of tack the landlord responds to. Sometimes those kinds of harsh energies can trigger resistance in personalities who are not responsive to coercive tactics. Know your target and design your work accordingly.

Also, I would be using a white skull candle vs. black for this kind of work, as you want to influence them towards your wishes, not punish them. You're seeking their cooperation here.

Nails over the doorway can be as mundane as hanging a string of lights or curtains or cables. I would not read anything spiritual into it.

I need a former landlord to give me a good reference for a new apartment There were some issues when we moved out, but she makes them sound a lot worse than they actually were. I even hired a professional cleaner, since I was too ill to clean it myself. (I do have pictures showing most of the rooms after they were cleaned.) Some of the issues were actually the fault of the property owners (the refrigerator fell apart because they bought a cheap one, but they blamed me for this.) I'm currently stuck in a situation where I am living with my parents, which is making me depressed, but also may be contributing to my chronic illness. (This illness is very sensitive to mold and I have a basement room, which triggers allergies for me.) So I need this woman to speak sweetly of me. And I was a quiet, polite, tenant who never made trouble. She's just on the side of the evil corporate owners. On a related note, is there a forum for spells to ask for finding a good place to live? The housing situation in my town is terrible.

Hi I'm having trouble sleep and I am starting to feel unsafe, I come home everyday and feel like someone who works here has been entering my apartment constantly at there convenience, they ruin my carpet, ripped my leather jacket, broke my brand new umbrella and fan, they left a nail sticking up in the carpet twice, I come home my Bible and hoodoo book was Missing, so they are also stealing, my underwear was missing and I now know that it's them who stole a bunch, and put hair in my food, what is something I can buy to keep these people out of my place so they never want to enter, I am tired of them staining my carpet etc, ??? Please help me figure out what shall keep them away and get them to stop, I don't know any of there names, I have a gut feeling though that it's the maintenance guy??? Please help it's an emergency for me

I would call your rental office and make a complaint, also you can change the lock, legally they are not allowed to enter without your permission. I would cleanse the house, and then dress the windows and doors with fiery wall of protection. Place Barberry across the path of the door praying to not let anyone enter. Hotfoot can be used to send a person away, as can separation. If the stain on the carpet ( I assume that is what you meant) is from dirty prints then lift some of the print out and use it as a personal concern such as a bottle to send them away, or a commanding bottle spell to stop them from entering.

If you have not already done so, contact your landlord and the police immediately. This is unlawful entry and is a crime in every state. Document everything.

You can also set up a video camera (borrow one from a friend if you don't have one) to record evidence, which becomes irrefutable.

Meanwhile, lay some red brick dust down in a line across your threshold to keep these criminals out of your home. Also put up protection, and especially five-spot your front door. Fiery Wall of Protection would be a good choice.

hello everyone, I need help.

Bad landlord situation, but up until now i have not done anything magickal, its all been on the mundane level. I've been successful in most of the ways that count.

1. for the next - and hopefully final phase of this process - i need to do vinegar jars. the only problem is, the main perpetrator LOVES vinegar. she in fact mixes red wine vinegar and bleu cheese crumbles and eats the mixture for breakfast. the other actors (it is the landlord and her out of control clique) would probably not react well to vinegar, as is traditional in the spell. But the main problem - the landlord - loves vinegar and she loves citrus. she enjoys hot peppers but also claims to have a gall bladder problem that would flare up if she ate them. She claims to have allergies to fresh tomatoes and cooked onions, but we have reason to believe that these claims are not true. she must have a sour palate. would this affect anything, or is it simply the appropriate ingredient in hoodoo, culinary preferences of targets be damned?

i wonder if poison ivy, which I can handle without getting a rash, could be added? I can get stinging nettle and knotweed, no problem.

i wonder about the use of datura in hoodoo, if any?

She also HATES roses, insists that they smell like pee. (like, I think she's evil, and that is why she seems to hate some things that most people find beautiful or soothing.)

the clique, encouraged by the landlord, write letters about me, and some other tenants, to police or certain regulatory bodies. (This is a HUD - funded senior building, subject to government regulations. Not that it seems to matter much.) the clique is pre-dementia - they are still able to live independently but lack the discernment to stay out of crazy situations, or to spot lies being told about people they have known for years. Easily influenced, easily triggered, easily exploited. Very willing to do the manager's dirty work and get their own hands dirty.

the management company is a bunch of literal crooks. they are in it to drain the maintenance budget. long story. They will not fire this manager, and she has been busted with a number of crimes that she has committed on the property. they have trained her to do things a certain (illegal) way, and they need her, even when she costs them money in lawsuits. We have had three wrongful death suits here in the last two years. They kill seniors with poor maintenance and other cost-cutting measures.

I definitely feel that the spirits in this building are aiding me, want me to help them return the building their church built for them to the way it should be run, with seniors not threatened or abused, or made to live in substandard conditions. The place was run well by two nuns of their order. When the nuns retired, they had to hire a management company. There have been two horrendous managers since then. The current one has it in for me, majorly, but i dealt with her on the mundane level, winning lawsuits against her, and defeating every attempt that she has made to set me up for a fake eviction.

So I have power on the mundane level, and assistance from the spiritual realm.

now, the clique has to fight, so she cannot ever get them to write letters again. there is a drug dealer that lives here, manager aligned herself with the drug dealer, and gets the dealer to bully & physically intimidate little, frail old ladies in their 80s. (these creeps do not like a fair fight.) She has to go.

what the manager is famous for doing is being your friend then changing on you out of the blue, for no apparent reason, and she starts trying to evict you. As her friend, you are always in a precarious position, yet you do not realize it until too late. Everyone in the building is afraid of her. (except me) She is extremely unstable so any kind of majickal workings would probably be highly effective.

so i think a vinegar jar, one by one, for each member of the clique, would be perfect - each member of the clique would get a taste of what they've been dishing out, each would realize that they are completely alone and without protection. They might then work with me to tell authorities what is going on. The manager's power resides in her ability to control this group and get them to call police, write letters etc. No one takes their letters or calls seriously, they do not present well and their allegations are usually silly. But it still muddies the water and it is still an aspect of this mess that I cannot ignore.

Except for the main target's love of vinegar, i would just do a souring jar spell, one or two days apart, to get the whole clique fighting amongst themselves. The landlord loves to cause people to be shunned. this is especially cruel in a senior building. but it would be effective if the hardcore clique got broken up one by one. i don't want to be friends with any of them anymore, but they could be useful if they provide information to law enforcement. (there is a lot of fraud and theft connected to this clique, so law enforcement and HUD regulatory bodies will be involved.)

Final issue: we have had a hard time getting the local cops to care about our concerns, and the government agencies that should be helping us don't. Everyone says it is terrible what is happening, but the help is wimpy to non-existent. I suspect that the management company bribes their way through life. I am sending a computer disc out to several different agencies, 13 Gigabytes of evidence - the conditions in building are deplorable - and i want this problem to be taken seriously, and finally end. I want the manager, her no-show paycheck boyfriend AND the management company GONE from this property. I'd love to see the management company shut down, bankrupted, no longer able to get HUD funding.... but i would settle for them having no connection or power on pour building's property.

Welcome to the Lucky Mojo forum! We're glad to see you here.

I'm sorry you're in this situation.

You have good ideas in mind on work to do. You could do a vinegar jar to sour the life of anyone regardless of their love for vinegar. It's the property of vinegar to sour things, so use it accordingly.

You could put them all in a break up jar to bust up their relationships and reduce their influence. Read about break up spells here:

Datura is not commonly used in hoodoo, as far as I know. It is not sold by Lucky Mojo, and this forum is to advise customers of the shop in the use of their products.

Finally, you could contact your local media with your evidence of corruption and the living conditions in your building. It's worth publicizing the situation if the police and government agencies refuse to step in. Just a suggestion.

Hi,

My landlord let two men into my room to do some electrical work without my permission and without any notice. I left out some candles, Lucky Mojo products and the like. I am very annoyed at this. What do I need to do to my candles, products, etc.? The two guys were West Indians and may know very well what it all is. One of them was looking at me funny when he realized it was my room.

Someone seeing your products will not kill the work or effect it, unless it was a mojo. They may think you are weird or look at you funny, but other than that no harm to the work. I would pray the petition over each them and recite Psalms 23 over them. This would be a nice way to cleanse any negative vibes. Clean the apartment and burn a cleansing sage.

I would continue to burn your candles and keep an eye on the results you get. You may wish to repeat the work if necessary. As long as they didn't interfere with your work, you should be fine.

Meanwhile, file a complaint with your landlord. Letting anyone into your room without your consent or their advanced notice, in the absence of an emergency, is illegal in most places.

It is illegal!! I told them that they should not have gone in the room and they apologized (which I didn't accept, because I don't accept apologies, but a change in behavior), but they did the same thing the next day! After seeing how mad I was! They come into the apartment so frequently and have only given notice about twice.

Thank you both. I did have a Vision Board with oils and such, and a completed candle that were clearly visible, as well as some of my petition papers. I am really annoyed. I know that a mojo is not to be seen, and that your work in progress is not to be seen, and I just feel violated. Since my work was completed, should I be fine? I did cleanse all my items with Florida Water before I posted on here.

Yes your work should be fine since it was completed and done. I would call the landlord and discuss not entering without permission otherwise if something ends up missing he will be held liable. He will not like that. Have you considered binding them like as a doll baby tied up, or a freezer spell to freeze them from entering? Other spells use turning a broom towards the door when a visitor leaves to ensure they do not return.

No, I don't plan on doing that because I am moving out at the end of the month. I did let them know that they should not have entered my room without giving me advance notice. There was a horrible storm that day, and I could have left early. They did the same thing the next day, which lets me know - I don't know HOW many damn times they entered my room. From this experience, at least I know that they thought they had the right to enter my room and may have done it before.

Hi everybody. So I’ve read all these pages and can’t decide what’s best for my situation.
On Saturday, we received a notice from my landlords brother. It said he’s been managing our property for several months and starting in December the rent will increase $350. The brother has never managed the property. We always hand deliver the rent directly to our landlord. We have lived in this house for almost 17 years. Rent has never been increased, which I understand why they want to increase now with the cost of everything else going up. My concern is that the whole time we’ve been there no repairs have been done. We repair what we can ourselves. There’s no rent control in our area and the house probably won’t meet code (we live in Southern California and our house has no foundation which is illegal in the state due to earthquakes). We’ve never complained since this is the only place we can afford and I have 2 dogs, a large one that I won’t be able to place anywhere and a small one that I can register as a therapy dog. We have mentioned in the past about the repairs that are needed and the landlord always says he’ll send someone but never does.
I read about the railroad spikes but most of the corners of our house have concrete. Can I nail them directly into the house?
Also, I plan on talking directly to our landlord since he’s the actual owner to the property (the brother is a real estate agent but has nothing to do with the property itself). I read about the Five Finger grass which I will have in my pocket when I talk to the landlord.
I’m in the process of taking pictures and videos of everything that’s wrong with the house and also contacting the housing authorities to see what can be done. What can I do to give my landlord courage to tell his brother no to increasing our rent due to the living conditions or prevent his brother from raising our rent? I’m trying to stay away from getting the house red tagged due to the no foundation issue because we can’t afford to go elsewhere (yet) and because of my dogs.

Yes, you can drive the railroad spikes into the house, but unless the property is concrete all the way to the fence line, it is easier to drive them into the ground in the yard around he house.

I am not an expert in real estate and renter law, but on the mundane and legal level, I know from experience of friends of mine in California that you may be in for trouble.

I wish I new a magic spell for this, but I do not, other than what you already mentioned, the railroad spikes and 5 Finger Grass. California has the harshest housing code in the nation and you are fighting the government here as well as the landlord and his brother. From what I have seen in California, the building inspectors act like they think they are God, and the tenant has no standing. It is all between the land-owner and the Code enforcers.

It sounds like you want to sort of blackmail him, to say that since he did no repairs and the place is non-code, you deserve to live there on the cheap, or you'll report him for code violations. The trouble with this plan, if indeed that is what you are thinking, is that you don't know what he is thinking. his property tax has certainly gone up steadily over the years, so he may not have greed in his heart, but just a desire to maintain his small profit. Or he may hope you will leave quietly so he can rent the house to younger, "fresh" tenants who are used to higher priced rents. It could even be that he thinks that with you gone he and his real-estate agent brother can fix the place up, get it inspected, and sell it for a good price.

Look into his health, his age, his position in life, and to any new zoning decisions or developments proposed for the area. What I mean about the zoning and proposed developments is that, just as a for-instance, property adjoining a brand new proposed golf course is suddenly worth much more money as vacant land than the income form renting a non-code house on the land. Only you can find out about those things. I am not a reader on that.

If it does go to the point that the housing code is invoked, you will lose your home. When it is understood that you willingly lived in a non-code unit for 17 years, once you report it, you will not be entitled to continue living there or to get a renegotiation on the monthly rent, or anything else to your advantage. Once the defects are exposed, the property owner has zero obligation to fix the house for you. He can decide to use it as a non-dwelling storage shed or tear it down and sell the lot. He can also allow the housing authority to evict you from the "unsafe" dwelling while he spends a year with it under a red-tag notice, bringing it up to code to sell or re-rent. You will have no choice. I have seen this happen. The tenant who reports a code violation always loses the home, in my experience.

Reporting code violations for revenge upon being evicted is another matter. I have seen friends gain great satisfaction from doing that.

Thank you for replying coastwitch. My intentions are not to blackmail the landlord but let him know because it doesn’t meet code and we’ve been doing repairs ourselves then he will be responsible for the repairs with us paying a higher rent. We found out about a year ago that the house doesn’t have a foundation as we were getting a leaky pipe fixed, something we paid for. I don’t plan on reporting him since the landlord himself is nice. His brother is an ass and is money hungry. The landlord has been against his brother on raising our rent because he has never done any repairs to the house and we keep paying for everything ourselves. There’s 2 houses on the lot so he’s making a nice profit already. Taxes haven’t gone up (we get the bill to give to him so we know) and there’s no development plans either.
Is there anything I can do to get his brother to leave us alone? He doesn’t go onto the property so I can’t lay any tricks. The landlord doesn’t go onto the property either.

Thanks for clarifying. I understand what you say about neither the land owner or the real estate agent brother coming onto the property. That makes it somewhat pointless to sprinkle things around the yard. I did think of one other thing, though: Devil's Shoe Strings. You can dribe 9 of them into the ground on the side facing the street. That keeps off the devils, they say, and the brother may qualify as a devil.

One thing you said earlier does pose a way in, though. You said you hand-deliver the money to the landlord. That means you can dress the check or money orders you give him. Stop giving cash, if you already do. It leaves no record of payment, and you need a record of payment. If you buy money orders, make a photocopy of each one. The landlord's brother needs to be blocked in every way, and recording the payment may help. Then, dust the paper check or money order with Money House Blessing powder mixed half-and-half with Domination Powder, to rule and control the landlord. But if you hand anything to the brother, dress it with Hot Foot Powder. You can also burn a Hot Foor Candle on the brother. But for the landlord, burn Domination and Money House Blessing candles, or any single small candle candles dressed with those two oils.

Hi everyone.

So here's my dilemma. Me and my boyfriend found the perfect apartment, but, he gets paid under the table and I just started a new job so no proof of income. We did give the prospective landlord bank statements (we have money) and we did meet with him. Right now he said he's going to look over a few other applications.

Any tips for getting him to lean towards letting us have the place would be much appreciated!
