Hello, new here

Unread post by BohemianBetty » Thu May 13, 2010 2:33 am

Hi, I'm new here. I have been interested in magic and witchcraft since many years. I do not consider myself a witch and I had tried to perform ceremony magic and I found out that I don't like it. The reason is that I come from a family where little helpful magic was part of everyday life and to dress myself in a certain way, perform certain moves and use certain tools feels like is not "me". Although I respect the practices of other people.

I became interested in Hoodoo just for some days ago. I didn't even know what it was. I started to research and I like the fact that you don't need to follow a religious path or perform a ceremony to make a ritual. It sounds nice to skip the acting part which doesn't feel natural for me. Any way, I know very little about Hoodoo but I'm reading and I like it more and more. I tried to buy a cleansing bath but I found that it seems like the shipping information is restricted only for people living in United States and I live in Europe. I searched in the place I live for a seller or a rootworker but I found one person and he doesn't have a page on Internet and until now I haven't received an answer from him (got his e-mail). I would like to buy products here is a little complicated where I live since there is no rootworker available here.

Thanks for reading my post and for the administrator to accept my request of entering the forum.

Blessings!

Welcome!

It's true you don't have to follow a religious path to conjure, but don't close yourself of to the power of some saints, deities, etc we use in hoodoo. It can be too easy for someone of magic/witchcraft to fall into this way of thinking.

Your post was a welcome read! Congrats on finding us and be sure to post any questions you have!

Try Ebay for online shops that are part of the LM Affiliate Program. There may be one in UK.

Good luck and Welcome!
