Greetings all,
I am relatively new to hoodoo, though I have been interested for quite some time. Recently I found Lucky Mojo, started reading and then placed an order. I received my book today and read it in one sitting.
I have practiced folk medicine, Western European herbalism and various forms of magic on and off for about 20 years, as a primarily solitary practitioner. My path has led me to create holistic blends for my horses, that include the full aspects/benefits of the herbs contained (I've been doing this for friends and family for years before I branched into it for equines).
As information sinks in, I look forward to reading more on the forum, seeking answers and asking my own questions. I look forward to being part of your community.
Well met,
Morrigan Aria
Greetings

Re: Greetings
Hello, and welcome to the forum. It's nice to see folks who have an interest in herbalism as well as in magic -- combining those interests will help you understand some of the basics behind hoodoo, which is, for obvious reasons, also called rootwork. In addition to the forum, you may also wish to expand your knowledge of hoodoo by reading the materials linked to in the "Welcome" messages posted at the top of each forum section. Enjoy!
