For magic that calls for Rosemary, such as the one for preserving youthful features, would one need to substitute that for another herb if you're a man? Rosemary is a womanly herb, and I definitely don't want to look like a girl. DX

I just had to share this: My son is considered to be "on the autism spectrum." While he is high functioning, he has severe social anxiety that makes getting him to go to school on a daily basis a struggle. As it stands, he receives a lot of support, a number of services, and his school has accomodated us by creating a limited schedule which only requires a few hours of participation every other day. I'll also add he takes medication for his anxiety every day that he attends. The medication has not been as effective as we anticipated and he has yet to make new friends since the beginning of the school year.

When he was getting ready for school on Friday, I quickly prayed over Crown of Success, Van Van (love this stuff...I just added it to all of our shampoos and body washes tonight), and Attraction oils. I asked that he be protected from anyone who would wish to hurt him, that negative associations be cleared and opportunities for positive exchanges to be opened, that he attract new friends, and find self confidence. I dropped some of each on my fingers, and snuck up behind him while he was eating breakfast and ran my fingers through his hair and then wiped them on his shoulders. Lol He said, "WHAT did you just do? What is that smell, mom?" I gave him some vague answer and sent him off to school, but confided to his father what I had done.

When he came home from school, he opened the door and said, "I had a good day!!!! I had a really good day! I made two new friends! They gave me their numbers and one of them is a girl!"

His father was just amazed. I really can't get over the fast results that come since using LM products and embarking on rootwork. My son's father, who is something of a skeptic but has always indulged my witchy ways, is no longer a skeptic after seeing several successful money spells and now this. This made the biggest impression on him, since it could hardly be coincidental. He was just floored.

So thankful for the spiritual support I've received and for the wonderful LM community and products.

Hello Luckbewithme876,

I suppose you could try using John the Conqueror but I am not sure how that works in terms of preserving youthfulness. I have not heard of an herb that is used for preserving youthfulness specifically for men. You might just try working with the rosemary any way. I do not think it would make you look womanly unless you already look womanly. Another worker with more experience may know better than me. Hope this is a helpful!

Something that has been really good for me and my selfonfidence issues was to make a honey jar - with my self as the target. It has really changed my life and the way I look at myself and care for my self in just three months time. I used some cinnamon, rose petals, love me and John the conqueror root oils and also some ginger when I think it was time to heat things up a little. The honey crystalized but I felt a new warmth and strenght after I heated it up in a pot with hot water. I varied the color of the candles depending of what need I felt was most important. In the beginning pink for general selflove, then red for some more strenght, also yellow to increase optimism and sometimes orange.

My father in law has a skin condition on his hand from Agent Orange when he was in the Vietnam War. His palms get so itchy that he scratches them until they split open and bleed and get raw. He has been to specialists and doctors at the VA Hospital and nobody know whats wrong with him and how they can help him. They are sure that it's from Agent Orange though from doing tests I think. He was a mechanic in the Army and worked on all the vehicles and he was constantly touching the tires that were running through all that mess. So anyways, I feel terrible that he has to go through this everyday and no one knows what to do to help so anything I can do whether its a spell or mixing up some herbs together to make an ointment I will do it!

So any suggestions ?

Hey Everyone,

I either need a kick in the butt or a time machine to go back to the body I had a year ago.

Over the last year & a half my diet has changed substantially & my lifestyle has undergone a major transformation from being physically active, outdoorsy & in shape to sedentary & bland. Long story short: I am out of work while dealing with personal issues & trying to conquer anxiety.

I’m 40, but some people think I’m late 20’s, which is flattering, but with the way things are going, I’m going to look haggard pretty soon. I have always taken care of myself until now. I've never been a smoker, no drugs, no alcohol. To have my body rebel against me & be a slave to anxiety is disheartening because most of this is my subconscious reacting to mental abuse I've been subjected to. I also had to have a hysterectomy last year but fortunately it was robotic so only three little scars that are fading & I still have my ovaries so no hormonal disturbance has taken place, but the surgery has left me depressed & curled up in the fetal position because of fertility/womanhood issues.

Since last summer I have moved up to a size 4. By no means do I believe I am huge, because I am not, but for my frame and the physical repercussions I am experiencing, this is way too much & technically I am overweight. I am 5ft. tall and was a size 0-2 up until last year. My current weight is too much pressure on my knees, sometimes they throb & other times I have shooting pains on the right one (especially with stairs). My diet has resulted in gallbladder sludge & occasional pain and I have developed a problem with sweating (my thyroid is fine & I have had every other test out there so it is either a result of my diet or another anxiety side effect because gallbladder aside I am healthy). I need to be revitalized.

Exercise and resuming my old eating habits are the obvious remedy and I would gladly do that if I could.

The main caveat is a pesky case of agoraphobia which holds me back from the outside world. I am working on the anxiety, but it is no easy feat for me right now and some days I can’t make myself leave the house for fear of interacting with people.

My second stumbling block is financial (I'm on social security disability right now). Last spring my G.I. doctor told me to start the FODMAP diet (because of IBS related to anxiety) & last fall my primary care doctor recommended the Paleo diet but neither of those diets are cheap. Initially I only planned to take a semester off school but I was wrong. I thought I’d go back to work after a few months off, but the root cause of my anxiety persists.

Gallstones & the possibility of a gallbladder attack aren't great but I honestly believe I can circumvent that by reclaiming control of my body. Thus far, I have opted not to have surgery because the big picture wont change - my lifestyle will remain the same until I find direction in my life and let go of the pain that has caused me to retreat into myself. I feel like ick and my self worth has taken a major hit. There are other issues I need to focus on, but the weight gain factors into everything. I hate being indoors but here I am afraid to go out. Having the discipline to get out in the fresh air & sunlight and succeeding at eating better on a budget of nothing would be such a victory for me and it would help me get the rest of my life in gear.

Bottom Line: It's only 10 pounds but it is soooo much more than that. We’re talking about physical appearance, self image, energy, confidence, discipline, overcoming bad habits & fears, and repairing my gallbladder before it attacks me. I’ve combed the forum for posts on weight loss & physical appearance & these are the highlights:

I apologize for this being so verbose and if there might be a better section to place this query but I figured my primary concern should be healing.

The situation: I am recovering from a serious tooth infection. The antibiotics have done their work but are only a bandaid as I am waiting to get an appointment with dentist. I have already missed 4 days in the first two months on a new temp job -- this is obviously not good for my job security.

Concern 1: I'm afraid of getting a tooth extracted during Mercury Retrograde in Gemini (one of the bodily provinces is nerves). Mercury Rx in Gemini occurs in the sign it rules so it is said to amplify all the things it affects. I'm also seeing many sources of information recommending against surgery during Mercury retrograde or seeing the dentist. Other concerns is that the full moon is coming up and that swelling, bleeding and recovery tend to be the worst closest to the the full moon. I'm not sure if I have a choice since I'm on my second run of antibiotics and don't know if it would be wise to hold out for a more favorable time after the antibiotics finish up and start being eliminated from my body.

Concern 2: I could be on the chopping block for my job. And would be definitely if it wasn't for the medical situation. I work in an at-will state so they can fire me any time they feel like. They understand my missing time is documented with doctor's excuses and that something like this is out of my hands and needs to be addressed but it doesn't change the fact I've missed a lot of work and will have to miss at least one additional day in the near future for going to the dentist. My work is also based on stat performance (I do medical billing) so they keep track of how much I'm doing per hour/day, my accuracy, etc. So even if I do get back on the job asap my performance could be hindered for a couple days.

I've been under a lot of duress with Mercury Rx from dealing with my insurance during work hours (the only time I am able to reach the necessary offices/people) and having all manner of things go wrong and set back so this is why I'm extra paranoid about getting any sort of medical work done, I don't want any "oops" or mistakes happening when they are doing work dealing with nerves. Concern 1 and 2 are related but affect different areas of my life. Most of my conjure work has been with candles and oils/herbs/incense so I am seeking help on what sort of materials at my disposal I should be using. Can I combine my concerns into one job or do two without them being at cross purposes? If I can combine can someone recommend what a well worded petition would sound like for me to place under my candle?

First I would suggest you not let mercury retrograde dictate when you do your medical procedure. Sometimes a thing just needs to be done regardless of what the planets are doing. Follow your doters advice on these things.

If you need to mitigate the effects of Mercury get a fixed Mercury astrological Vigil Candle or better yet have MISC set on for you with a prayer the the retrograde not hinder you in any way.

Can i please request some guidance on casting on a similar topic. It is not that i am not popular, i am popular and liked. The problem is i have no influence with my popularity. I am often taken advantage of and not just that people don't remember what i have done for them in kindness, but they certainly wouldn't put themselves out for me. I know many horrible popular people who get their own way and respect all the time. I also find although being popular, i am not at the forefront of most peoples minds in that respect. I know people would at face value be envious of my social position but the reality is actually very disappointing. Being liked for being liked, because you're fun and likeable, when there is no respect or influence leaves me open to unreliable and selfish people. If i challenge anyone on their behavior they are not scared of me, they get angry. And i end up apologising when i've been wronged. The horrible popular people would never have to do this. I don't want to change me, or stop being kind. I want to change them. I think i am asking for social power.
What can be done about this? I'm not against full coercion.

Lol, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to be confusing. Hormone Replacement Therapy/HRT. My boy-girlfriend (as my grandmother calls her) is transitioning to female, but intends to keep her penis and we have normal sex. So..there has been and will be shrinkage. I was asking if there is a way to protect against or, ideally, reverse that. Does that make more sense?

You can carry it with you in a bag

You can get a white skull candle and name it for yourself. Anoint the candle with mercury and/or Mater oil. Then, put the deer's tongue in the mouth.

Yes, of course, you can do all of them!

Anoint the bag with the master oil.

If it's a skull candle, you carve out the mouth, add the deer's tongue, melt the wax that you carved out and then put it back over the mouth to seal in the deer's tongue.

Some people light a little bit of the candle everyday for a week. Others let it burn out completely in one sitting.

In your case, I would do a little bit every day

Confidence and bravado aren't quite the same thing.

Bravado is a show of boldness designed to intimidate -- or just to impress. It's the core of "fake it till you make it," and there is a place for that in magical work and in daily life.

But confidence is different; it's that sense of "Of course I can, it's as natural as watching an iron ball fall to the ground."

Now, take care the iron ball doesn't land on your foot -- and that's the simplest metaphor I know for calculating risks. Which is absolutely not cheating or anti-magical.

I am interested in Magic, for personal reasons, which I know isn't a great way to start. However, I have found that there is simply no other way I can go about this. The idea may seem extremely trivial however the intentions are not. I have been shown great injustice simply due to the fact that I am small in height. I only wish to grow a few inches, however now I am past the age at which the body grows naturally, I fear that there is no other way to go about this, so I have turned to Magic. I know of no spell to increase your height once your bones have achieved maximum adult length for you. I have had crooked teeth for all of my life because my parents could not afford to pay to have them straightened. I would like to start a career which would make me have to interact with the public and i am so ashamed of my teeth.

People do not take me seriously because of my crooked smile. Last year i contacted an organization and they were going to send me to get invisalign and about a month later, they called me to say that they could not help me.

I am willing to get Dentures instead of braces if it gives me a straight, more confident smile. I do not have any money and i need some spell work that would help me to get this work done free of charge, or to help me win or acquire the money to have it fixed. Please tell me what i can do?

Hello Miss Athena: I have read through the thread and i have contacted some dental schools and the prices are still out of reach for me. I have also gotten some feedback from some dentist that say, they will not remove healthy teeth. Crooked teeth are not healthy teeth and some feel that i am too old for braces as i am in my forties.

I asked for prayer on Crystal Silence League about a year ago and they continue to pray for me.

I am going to follow through with the wealthy way products and road opener because i am at my wits end. Thank you so much for this information and i really appreciate it.

I am not a dentist, but i do know people in their 40s and even 50s who are wearing braces to straighten their crooked or crowded teeth. Age is not the issue you think it is and you will not be unusual for getting braces as an adult.

Despite being crooked, healthy teeth are those that are not decayed or suffering diseased roots, cracks, worn enamel, or bone loss. I am in agreement with your dentist: i would not recommend that you get healthy teeth pulled.

Many years I didn't pay attention to my teeth (All my life I was affraid of dentists). Now it became a really serious problem. I can't even brush my teeth because it leads to crumbling. I need max. 4900 € to pay for dental implants and treatment. At the moment my monthly income is 300 €, so saving money would take too long. My treatment process starts in November, but I still haven‘t got a necessary amount. Nobody gives money for free so I beg you to lend me 5 $/€/£. charityrose13, your bath formula looks rather complicated -- but other than that, it sounds good. Make up a bunch of it to use whenever you need it.

I'm kind of inclined to swap out the Love Me oil for Healing or 7-11 Holy Type Oil. It would harmonize spiritually with the Angelica, and its warm, spicy scent might blend very agreeably with the Rosemary and Marjoram.

Also, make yourself a simple mojo hand - or a honey jar! - with Rosemary, Angelica and Althaea, wrapped in a petition written on a hand-written copy of Luke 15:32 --

It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
