Road Opening for New Paths in Spells for Family Money Love Spirituality School

I got a reading on April 27th on the Lucky Mojo Radio Show (I come in at the 36 minute mark), and Conjureman Ali suggested I try some crossroads rootwork. He said for me to take three coins down to the crossroads, and to ask the spirit of the crossroads to open all doors and pathways to my success. He said for me to put down the coins and gather the dirt from the four corners (paved road), and then mix this dirt together with attraction and crown of success powder to put inside of a petition packet that will eventually be worn in my shoe.

My questions:

What kind of coins should I use?

When he says to “put them down”, does he mean to leave them on the ground as an offering?

If so, should I bury the coins in one corner in order to prevent passerby’s from picking them up?

This got me thinking that perhaps 4 coins buried in each corner would be better, but I assume the holy trinity bears more significance..

Also, Miss Cat's reading said that I need to move out of my parents' home and take my business with me, and that it's the only way I'll be able to escape my domineering father. I would LOVE to move out, but money is an issue. I am in the process of restructuring my business in order to make it more profitable, but quite frankly I'm simply not the best person for this sort of task. I'm more of a creative person, and I need management/guidance to help me stay focused on EXACTLY what I need to do next, as I have no firsthand knowledge of how to go about transitioning my clothing line into the wholesale market. There is no one else around to help me or offer me any advice (I can't afford to hire anyone), so basically I've been left to my own devices to try and figure out how its done. In order for me to be able to move out, I know that I MUST have this system in place beforehand. It has taken me almost a year of research and I still haven't accomplished this task, arguably because I have "paralysis by analysis". It's so annoying to have all of the demand in the world for my garments, but not have the structuring system I need in place in order to enable me to do business with global retailers. Valuable retailers that most designers would kill to have a shot with have already approached me on numerous occasions to do business with them (lol, isn't it normally the other way around?). Unfortunately I had to tell them that I couldn't work with them just yet. While that's a good problem to have, it's still a problem.

Cat's reading points to me needing to take action by asking for spiritual assistance with the use of the road opener ritual.

Based on the little bit of information I've provided, what should my objective be for this spell?

I could do it for "moving out", but that still doesn't resolve my business issues.

Any thoughts or ideas are most appreciated, I want to make sure that I order exactly what I need!

My suggestion to you is to obtain a private reading from Conjureman Ali to answer all of these questions. I believe you can do this by e-mail also.

After being a reader and observant to this wonderful site for over a year, I finally make my purchase last week and patiently awaiting my order. I can honestly say after I placed my order online a sense of calm, positivity and feeling sure that everything was going to be fine.

The story behind this is, over the past two years I have been going through a separation and divorce with my soon to be abusive ex husband. It was a pretty messy breakup (restraining order, the works).. however I chose to settle things civilly and not go through the legal system, we also have a child together. He was abusive, cheated and scammed me out of a house that my father had purchased for us. A long story short, I have hired lawyers to fight the case but not with much luck, I am not employed and can not afford to dispute any further.
I do believe that there is a bright future ahead of me, I am trying to work on a new business venture.. I have the vision and the drive but no finances to fuel my dream. I am dating a wonderful man, everything my ex husband was not, but he lives in another country and lately I feel the connection and communication has been fizzling out. I guess what I was really trying to ask was that given the situation, what spells or work could I do with the oils and such I purchased. But I will take you suggestions into consideration and try. I can't wait to get my order in the mail. I do feel good however, the past was hard but I am more confident than ever. This was a very informative post. Question regarding some of the instructions: It was stated to continue w/VanVan baths after the initial13-herb bath...how long would a person do this?

For Step 4)the Crown of Success/Clarity Combo, again concerned with length of time, I would assume a person would simply follow the kit instructions only adding the Clarity...correct?

Regarding the finding good friends, in what manner would the cloves and sweet pea be used (as bath herbs, dressing candles,...)?

I recently started getting into hoodoo and some days I feel extremely optimistic about everything, like the whole world is working for me and I've made the right decision and everything will start working in my favor, then other days I feel the exact opposite. It's such a taxing emotional thing, and it truly gets in the way of any work I want to do because I let the negativity take over. I would recommend getting a reading first from a member of AIRR to see what the source of the negativity is.

Morgana, I like J-Mo's advice. I'd just add some King Solomon Wisdom or Clarity to that work -- either blend it right in with your Van Van or alternate the two.

I've noticed over the years that folks learn bad habits from bad luck. This is why affirmative prayer and positive thinking were developed. Lucky Mojo has some classic books on the subject. I know Miss cat is particularly fond of Mikhail Strabo's The Magical Formula for Successful Prayer, but I don't see it at http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatbooks.html. Call the shop; I'd be very surprised if they had stopped carrying it.

You might also check out books by old-time New Thought writers like William Walker Atkinson and Wallace Wattles.

Hi guys, just wanting a little advice on what would be best to do in my situation.

On New Years day, I began a seven day lodestone and candle ritual to attract a new love. I didn't really specify appearance, but I did meditate quite a lot over the personal qualities and demeanor of my desired partner. I was also told during a reading that love and romance would be coming into my life this year.
Recently, I began seeing a guy: Funnily enough, a guy who says he first began noticing me at the beginning of the year when we started talking but thought I was too "out of his league" to try and pursue anything romantic until now.
In the time we have began dating, I am constantly being blown away with how this man is everything I had asked for. He is one of the most warm, witty and genuine people I've ever met.
However, I think I neglected one thing: I didn't specify that this man stay in the same country. He is leaving to live in the UK.
He gave full disclosure that he would have to leave when he first approached me romantically, so we are still on excellent terms and have promised to still keep in contact.

I don't want to manipulate him into staying here or force him into a relationship with me. Your request, however, is too complicated.
Either you do spells to make him stay, spells to make him return.
OR you want spells to bring in someone else if he doesn't stay.
SO....
You will need a reading on tis to find out if he's the right one for you or if he stays in he UK, etc.
It's good to know what the conditions are before you can start working on spells. Otherwise, they are too scattered and you're not giving Spirit a clear message regarding exactly what you want.

Hi, this is a first for myself. I have a partner with home I share my life for the past 8 yrs and my question is that back when we met we would argue allot and in one of those rage that I got mad and literally spoke out loud by my self cursing the day I met him. we have learned to Love and respect each other but, the thing is that he has lost his job 1 1/2 yrs ago and since he has not been able to find a job. I feel that because, of what I said at the beginning of our relationship I have put some kind of hex because, he has not much of luck with jobs. What can I do to break this curse or hex? Furthermore, I have a brother that is lives in the same house with us and he is Drama with his ex-wife and he is around there is no peace. How can I bring peace back to our house? I am new to this board, I hope to find some answers. For maybe the last 18 years I had help (hand) with a lot of things in my life . I`ve always taken care of my family and things have been well not great but well. A few years ago the man who helped me died and his son took over but things havent been right since. In 06 i was completely broke, I had to go to someone that i was introduced to and things changed in a matter of months,two years later she died i ended up back in the same boat with this guy things going down hill. It seems as if everything i touch turns bad, everybody that can be a benefit in my life we end up on bad terms. I have since been divorced to top it off my ex wifes husband is from southern AL and on my way back from Miami i stopped on the side of the road and had a reading low and behold the reading was that this man too is using something on my ex-wife and me supposedly. He doesnt want her talking to me i dont hear from my kids. Every thing has turned really bad. I just recently sold my car and my motorcycle just to pay bills. MY daughter and my son just had their 16th birthday i couldnt get them anything. My trucking business is going to crap everytime a truck goes out i lose more money than the load pays. The mans son owes me money wont pay or give up the title to vehicle i`ve got. What kind of mess am i in? I took the black jacks or whatever they are called and thru them in the river. I had them from small to big. 125.00 I have rubs bottles around the house house dressing no of it is working. Where do i go now. Its hard to find someone who is not for entertainment that really good at this work.

Ok, with my next order I need some help. My daughter just went to off to college last week and has called me sounding so depressed. I know I can't afford to bring her home every weekend, plus she needs to adjust to college life. Is there anything I can do to help her either meet people or become more outgoing, but still keep her head on straight when it comes to studies and boys. She is a good girl, I just don't want her to become too outgoing maybe a group of good friends with a mindset like hers.
On the other hand, I have a 23 year old son who is very outgoing, but I need him to become mature, save money, get his credit straight...basically, grow up!

I'm curious about these"black jacks." Were they magical objects given to you by someone you trusted? Or by someone you now know to be your enemy? What were they like? It might be useful to us to know if you threw away protection or got rid of something that held a curse.

Sorry for just replying you questions. They were suppose to be for protection and good luck but things were going so bad and when i got them from this guy I trusted him but He lied and cheated me out of money. To this day he owes me. I thru them away because its seemed like every time i called him about my money things were getting worse. I started out going to his father he was good and word was his grandfather was even stronger. I cant keep my hands on a dime.

Im sorry they looked like a red and tan package sewn together in three sections this was the largest one i had one that was green it was smaller and i had one that was smaller than that it was in the same type of material but no sections. They all sounds like they had something like small beads inside over time they would get lighter.

I wanted to post my recent experience with the road opener oil to possibly help anyone who is thinking about using this product and needs obstacles cleared away. Quick background story is I purchased some products from lucky mojo because I have been unemployed for over a year and have applied for tons of jobs with no success. I first used the 13 herb bath for cleansing myself and then used Chinese floor wash to cleanse my house. Three days later I used the road opener oil dressed on an orange candle and prayed for any obstacles causing me to be over looked for jobs to be removed. I have been trying off and on to change to a more environment and animal friendly lifestyle (veganism, natural skincare, no GMOs, etc.) but I haven't been able to push myself 100% into it. It's not to lose weight but to live a life conscious of my impact on all creation. I figured I'd ask Saint Francis for support since he's the patron of the environment and animals. I performed bibliomancy with my bible and asked him if hes willing to help work with me on this.

Jeremiah 4:3 "Break up your unplowed ground and do not sow among thorns."

I interpreted this to mean I need to look inward "plow my ground"" and remove the "thorns" of myself that are holding me back from being the person I need to be before Saint Francis can "plant" anything that will prosper. I think writing down why I think I'm afraid of this change, then bathing in Cast Off Evil while asking Saint Francis to remove those things might help.

Then I opened my bible again asking Saint Francis if he'd help me once I did my part of removing my "thorns"

This time it sounded like a big yes! Since this is the 7th day when the wall falls I figure it's best to bath in Cast Off Evill for 7 days.

Hey Charity! Don't apologize for the long posts, detailed information, can help for better answers. I too, love the green lifestyle and the extra bursts of energy i get from making healthier choices and definitely looks like you've gotten some great confirmation there from St. Francis. Great job. As you stated above though, sometimes we have to get rid of bad habits first to let the good ones come in. Cast off evil would be great for this. I would follow up with crown of success and/or King Solomons wisdom to make sure you are making the right choices moving forward. In my experience this is a slow process that doesn't happen over night, so the more you change the little things around you (water instead of soda), (salad instead of fries) the closer you'll get to your goal.

I can relate to your post. Similar "fear of change" but not over being green. I was a smoker ( gross I know) from hs I quit then but in college dated a smoker and got started again.. few years later I hated it but I was addicted. I tried the medical stuff nothing, I tried the gums and the patches , nothing. And part of my issue was the fear of actually doing it and dealing with the change it would cause (with drawls etc). Finally I decided to go to alternative medicine and I used LM cast off evil by putting it on the cigs and breaking them up and working the cast off.. It has been 5 years since that day and I have never looked back. Fears to me are equivalent to evil. fear is one of the devils tools. So cast it off and enjoy the new life style!

Thanks every one for your support and advice.I was thinking of doing the full blown spell for alchohslism on the cast off evil supplies page but tweaking it,using the products mentioned, to fit my situation. But Im sort of frightened of doing the bottle spell part of it.It seems very harsh and I don't want to flush my life down the toilet every time I take a sip of Pepsi lol.Is there a less drastic way to perform that part? I agree with Prophet Avery and Mary Bee in that making such a change may not only be a matter of removing bad habits (with Cast Off Evil suppies), but also will tend to embrace new and better habits, for which their susggestions of Crown of Success, King Solomon Wisdom, Crucible of Courage, and Power products would be particularly appropriate.

Considering that hoodoo is the set of magical practices engaged by black Americans (to which some white, Hispanic, and Asian people have voluntarily joined themselves), your answer can be found by consulting the general spiritual practices of the black communities of America.

Most African Americans are Christians, and of those, most are Protestant, with particular emphasis on the Baptist denomination, as well as African Methodist Episcopalian and various Holiness, Sanctified, and Pentecostal denominations. A small minority of the Christians are Catholics, and an even smaller minority are Christian Spiritualists, and Christian New Thought adherents. Outside this vast group, a few black Americans identify as Black Muslims, Black Jews, initiates in African Traditional Religions, Buddhists, and members of various small Neo-Pagan, Shamanic, and Kemetic Reconstructionist groups.

Not all of these religions make use of terms (or theological concepts) such as "Personal Growth" or "Spiritual Centering." The Protestant denominations, in particular, focus on salvation from sin, alignment with God's will, study of the Bible as a moral guide, and praising the Lord for gifts and miracles that have been manifested.

The daily spiritual practices of any given hoodoo practitioner will vary due to the daily practices recommended in his or her religion. I can tell you that for most of the hoodoo practitioners i know, recitation of Psalms is probably the single most prevalent daily practice. Most of my clients have a personal favourite Psalm (usually referred to in conversation as "my Psalm"), and this Psalm is recited once a day. The 23rd Pslam is by far the most commonly chosen of these, but it is by no means the only one, and many people tell me that they recite two Psalms per day, one being the 23rd Psalm and the other being one selected for efficacy and relevance to their current most pressing needs or wishes.

I have been reading around the forum and I find many people are mixing hoodoo with other spirituality. (I am not being a critic here - I am just saying that we all try to compare it to things we know!) I have some family members who have always practiced hoodoo and they are indeed very Christian. In recent years, since having children actually, I have once again been drawn to hoodoo as it is part of my family's history and it is exactly as you say - daily practice is prayer perhaps lighting a candle and praying for loved ones. That is what my aunts do as well as certain things like no shoes in the house and other practices are part of our family traditions if you will. As a person who did seek out other spirituality in my youth, I am now more than ever understanding how we want to go back to the traditions we knew as children.

I too have noticed that this forum -- and the internet in general -- has within the past few years attracted people who, to quote your words, "are mixing hoodoo with other spirituality."

I try to be welcoming to all -- for i was taught that being welcoming is a mark of good manners. However, i and others here do speak out sharply against the cultural appropriations attempted by those who wish to "borrow" (steal) knowledge from the black community without acknowledgement or respect for the sources of this wisdom. With that being said -- listen to your aunts! They carry wisdom in their years and will teach you a traditional way of working that holds great power.

As someone who has learned from many traditions I can see Catherine's point. Being African American myself, I am at a point where I feel drawn to "get back to my ancestral roots". My parents raised me as a Christian, but they were strongly against hHoodoo, or any form of "witchcraft" (and everything they did not like they considered pure evil and "witchcraft"). So, I have been practicing the best way I know how, what I remember from watching my grandmother's twin, and what I read. I'm glad that a forum like this is here for those (like me) who wish to learn and grown in this tradition.

I was blocked for years and took a lot of work to move forward. What helped, I think, is petitioning St-Peter to open your roads. It worked for me and I am very, VERY grateful. I am still not in the place/position I want to be, but I am not feeling any longer as being "boxed" and unable to move forward. I've used road opener and St-Peter candles and oils with the petition. What kind of working can I utilize in manifesting the change I need within myself to pursue the things I want in life? I can clearly visualize my goals and desires, I see the things I want to manifest and the life I want to live. At 21 I can now go about and make those things happen. The world is at my finger tips and I CAN manifest the things I desire. The only problem is that I'm a huge procrastinator and I'm very slow to act. I also have some anxieties surrounding getting out into the world and becoming a productive contributing adult in society. I have the fire and ambition, and vision, it's all there. I have the drive. I'm A type. But it's all internalized. I have fears and blocks. I'm a dreamer, etc. Long story short, I'm tired of getting in my own way. I'm hungry and burning with fire to manifest some of the things I want. I was fortunate to have done one thing. I dropped out of high school and several months ago I went and obtained my high school diploma. There are a few other small triumphs I've made. I'm a classic late bloomer. And I've always done things the way I want to do them. But I'm ready to bloom and get the fire under my ass. I'm proud of myself for the changes I have made. But what am I doing again? In my mothers house sitting on my ass without even a job. I'm not in school at the moment because I put off getting to the campus and registering for my college classes. It's like I just sit here. Or I'm very slow to move, and uninterested in the minutia of getting things done, I'd rather pawn things off on others so I can get to the meat of what I want to do. But my family is ready to see me put in some work. And I've always wanted to be more self reliant. More sufficient.

What can I put my hand into to clear away the things that circumvent me from my desires? Or from my needs?! Hell, I have to be an independent adult at some time.

First thing I suggest is a good cleansing bath with a mixture of Hyssop and Rue followed up with some Road Opening work. This will get things rolling and remove obstacles that you face. I have been working several different angles with my situation and despite it all, my husband will be moving out and to another state in three days. We are on mostly good terms right now, and in a last ditch effort to make some kind of headway, I asked him to consent to a spell to clear the blockages and see if a path can be made for us to work things out. To my surprise (and probably only because he wants to shut me up) he consented - despite the fact that he doesn't believe in magic (anymore) or think there is hope. He is even willingly giving me his personal concerns! I have some I was saving (been collecting hair off of his pillow every morning), but I figured since he was being so agreeable, asking for some wouldn't hurt.

I want to do a Blockbuster, or Road Opening spell and since he will be back in about two weeks to help me move to a new apartment, I probably have time to order what I need and plan the spell before then. I have a lot of research to do here on the forums, and most likely will have a consultation for this spell. I'll also be taking full advantage of the candle services of MISC to augment this.

My questions are these:

He has said that he will light a candle that I have prepared and dressed and say a prayer or Psalm I choose. (I'm thinking Psalm 65) He has even said he may do so with me if I am ready to begin while he is here, he hasn't decided for sure. Is this a good idea? Could his non-belief and doubt muck things up, or is this consent and potential participation a positive I should definitely exploit?

I really would like to do something with Blockbuster supplies, as there are old and deeply ingrained issues in us both, and I am certain something forceful is needed to shake it loose. Miss Aida mentioned in reply to a post I made about using Blockbuster in another way (doll baby and skull candle) that it might not be a good idea to use it on him until I knew the full extent and I hold her advice in very high regard. But, as it is now with his consent, I'm not trying to work something solely on him and if I have a very clear intent for this, I think a Blockbuster working could be a go. Am I right? I am thinking even starting with the blockbuster and then doing road opener and perhaps something like return to me or healing work is the way to go. There are very few quick fixes in life, and there is definitely not one to be had here.

Hello im not sure if this is the right place but here goes, in short i was advised to use a road opener candle as im desperate to move out and London aint cheap, i have been burning this candle since monday and although my room spells lovely i can help but worry that the glass is black the candle flame is dancing and hasnt stopped but the glass is still black the flame is not out yet but im still worried, also would there be a clash is you are burning 2 candles in different parts of the house, im burning my road opener in my bedroom and my mum is burning red candles for her step son who has a court case and has been tod to keep burning them till the trial ends question is could that hinder what im trying to do spell wise which is comp;ety different.

Your mother's candle burning shouldn't affect your own work. For the black glass, it isn't usually good news but do see how the burn finishes before drawing conclusions. For the work itself, although block-buster will help get rid of blockages, look at the imagery: dynamite. Are you ready for things to blow? Can you deal with that type of road opening? Sometimes exposing the wounds so dramatically when they are that deep and ingrained does more harm than good. Sometimes it's more the slow and steady type of soft road opening that works best, combined with LOTS of healing and soothing work.

The short answer here is yes. Despite his nonbelief, I also made sure my husband was aware of this eventuality as well. My gut instinct is that it is better to have these things in the open than to continue to have it fester. I'll spare you the gory details, but in this case out is a far sight better than in. I am not undertaking this lightly, I assure you. I do understand the implications and appreciate what you're saying but I've meditated on it and have used my pendulum to divine an answer and I feel it's a good idea. I will ask my reader as well, to be sure as I know my own divination could be clouded by my investment in the answer. I have absolutely made sure that my follow up workings will include healing and soothing work. I appreciate your response very much and sincerely thank you.

I lit a blockbuster vigil candle two days ago to try to help break through the blockages barring the way to my goal and lo and behold, the glass is black and sooty for a good four inches at the top. Trying not to feel discouraged but I know that is a bad sign. I have some more supplies coming and had a wonderfully helpful consultation on how to proceed. I know already that my situation will take a lot of dedication and persistence so I'm not giving up or letting it get me down. Still, I could use some words of encouragement. Anyone have a success story that began with ominous signs? Not even sure it's ok to ask here in the forums, I'd be happy with a PM if that's the case.

Although it may be difficult, try not to draw a conclusion until you get to the end of your burn. If the light finishes up clear, then while the opposition may be great, it also shows the work getting through it given time. And many of us have had difficult burns that required dedicated work to make work. Take it slow and steady, one step at a time.
