Neverbend

Sorry to hear what you're going through. Susan and Miss Aida are right that 1. we don't ascribe in past lives in Hoodoo; 2. you need professional help.

Without going into details - I've had similar issues as you do, it's something you can solve, but most likely not on your own. You need a detailed reading from someone who's versed in this area and see what course of actions you could take. For the time being, put a piece of camphor and a glass of water on your bedside table when you sleep for protection.

Hag riding has been identified in other moments in this forum, in diferent threads, as work being held whilst the victim is asleep.
I wonder how to awake someone of such slumber.I wouldn't know if baths would cut it, this time. Seems stronger than most tricks.
If it were me to handle this - considering I'm not the victim, that is - I would probably recommend a bath consisting of a twig of rue, dipped unto cold water and prayed upon, a rosemary whole-body fumigation, a manner of egg technic to divert the condition into the eggs, and sealing with van van oil for further protection.
Please, let me know what you think. This is the very first time I repport into this forum, and I am very thankfull to all it's gracious hosts, particularly to miss Cat Yronwode, as I greatly admire this iniciative.
Most Sincerely,
Asturias.

Hey everyone, thanks for your advice and compassion. And just one quick note, I'm a she. :-)

Without a doubt I'm going to probably need a reading to get another set of eyes on this. Unfortunately my cash flow is tight right now. As it always has been. Because of her...

Just to give more of a backstory, in case this might help someone else, or if maybe someone can think of more suggestions. Not too long ago I began working with my ancestors as I sensed they needed help. Plus those hints they dropped got my attention, lol. Also around this time I began working closely with the Goddess and the Law of Attraction. Wonderful miracles began taking place and I felt the need to get back to the artist's path as my life calling. Prior to this I had a dream from a woman who said, "Why don't you write a play?" In the dream I came up with some lame excuse on why I couldn't do it. When I awoke and started to think about the possibility of being a playwright again I feel into a dark and scary black hole of depression. It got so bad, someone or something, I'm thinking my ancestors, had to break me out of it.

Okay, now while working with the ancestors I kept feeling that something was rotten in Denmark. So I stopped working with them and told them until I get better sense of what's going on all work on healing and liberating is on pause. I also asked to let me know if there was someone causing problems.

Now here is where it gets even more complex. On my paternal side of the family is where all the creativity lies. My dad (RIP) and his two brothers, also deceased, were all in a band together. They were so good that they got radio time. However, all three brothers eventually had to leave their creative roots. All three brothers had sad lives filled with disappointments and setbacks. All three never made it far in whatever they tried to do. All three died too young (in their 50s and early 60s) and all three deaths were quite tragic and unexpected. My dad came from a family of seven children. Three boys and four girls. Only the boys showed creative talent and only the boys suffered sad lives. And one top of that my grandfather committed suicide when my dad was a young child, because he found out he had cancer.

*sigh*

Come to find out my grandfather has been working with her. He was half Native and she is a Native woman. I only know her ethnicity because she has appeared in my dreams more than once. There's a whole lot more involved into the whys, but that's all I'm willing to say about it. But his suicide and depression explains some of my more darker emotional experiences. I've also realized that in the not so distant past she brought people in my life that were similar to her in a lot of ways. Possessive, obsessive, selfish, abusive, delusional. Those who have no problem using dark magick against those who don't deserve it. To harm, control and steal the individual's freewill. These individuals have done everything in their power to me keep from living my life the way I choose to live in...in every and all aspects.

If you read my posting history you will see a problem that I had with an ex who is Native (about a year and a half ago) and there was another before him. The Native ex even used to relay messages that my grandfather would say. One of them is that my grandfather arranged for us to meet so he could teach me about medicine and the Native ways. I used to think he was full of it. Now? Well...

To this day I still have to fight these people off and this is been going on for almost two years now. I have not seen or spoken to either in well over a year. For the first one, it's been two years. She caused (and is still causing) the problem, so then she can offer the solution. That's the same way these individuals operate.

Can we say complicated?

Last night I performed a spur of the moment ritual to break all ties and bindings to unsavory people, spirits, entities, curses, groups, etc. etc. It was successful and I got a wonderful confirmation from divination and my ancestors. The ritual caused quite a bit of commotion. But yeah, she's not happy. And is JEALOUS that my luck and fortune has improved 10-fold. So while the tie is broken, it's not like she forgot and is now just going to leave me alone. That she devil is still standing in my path. I've now only been calling forward ancestors who are for my highest good and respect my freewill. What I further found out is they are trapped somehow. I tried, unsuccessfully, to offer a prayer that would break or loosen whatever is binding them. They are not able to help me the way they want to and she has been causing them problems for quite awhile. Some of them wish to move on but can't. They also want me to heal the ancestral bloodline. Plus they are giving me confirmation and support to fulfill my creative path.

I sincerely think it's more than just her and my grandfather involved in this. One last thing, I also found out she was a witch when she was alive and she was victimized in someway that has made her crazy. Literally. She flips back and forth from being saintly, caring and helpful, to vengeful, jealous and hateful. The thing that confuses me the most is why is she so jealous and angry about anything creative? And for so long.

Whew, that was actually freeing to type all that out. Funny, I was always the black sheep in the family. The scapegoat. But I'm the ONLY one who is working to liberate the family. The only one living who is in involved in this type of spirituality. Funny how things work....

So yeah, as soon as I can scrape the money together I will contact a reader who works with past life issues and ancestral issues. This thing is so messy. In the meantime I will keep meditating, praying and asking for divine guidance. I will also be getting those items you all suggested. Thanks again and wish me luck...

Hmm, I am a spiritualist, but I'm a rational skeptic first. Sometimes to my own detriment. Is the site having issues? Because my threads keep disappearing and I'm having trouble posting things. I also tried to edit because I didn't want to double post but it said I couldn't. I don't want to jump to conclusions, especially if there is a logical explanation.

Just wanted to add real quick...

Moonbreath, you reminded me of something. An hour after the ritual I walked to the store. When I got inside I was dropping things, knocking stuff down. While walking home I was tripping over things. I did a divination and it said I'm still free and give other positive messages. So I thought maybe I'm just tired and clumsy. As I had to work the whole weekend, plus all this other stuff, I WAS exhausted. Then last night when trying to sleep something kept biting me and whatever it was caused a deep, itchy and painful stinging. I kept waking me up. Even after putting coconut oil on the bite it still stung. Finally in a half awake stupor, I called out to the Goddess to remove whatever or whoever was harassing me. And after that I was able to sleep deeply and peacefully. It wasn't until this morning when doing divination about an unrelated concern, but involves a positive move I've been trying to do for a long time. I saw there would be obstacles because that thing is MAD and jealous? So thanks for what you said. I have some protection crystals that I'm going to keep charged and keep them on my person whenever I go.

Good Evening, Neverbend,
You poor thing. This sounds just terrible. Sounds like you've been to hell and back (and I'm so sorry).
I would also like to suggest that you pray the Psalms. The AIRR members have provided these wonderful pages to the world and I personally am forever grateful to them
Please take a look and see which ones will help you (as there are definitely quite a few)

Take care of yourself. PLEASE be careful.

He told me he was going to divorce his wife and marry me.. I joyfully accept and took him back.. ( I had this dream a week agi.. i just broke up with my bf yesterday)

I also dream of a woman sitting in a toilet smiling at me their was 3 babies sitting behind her 1 brown 2 white . I feel this is La Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre giving me a sign to pray to her. Can anyone help in decoding my dreams?

I'm praying that my ex will return and restore the relationship to the way it was.

Hi amor prohibido,

We don't provide dream interpretation services on the forum although some of the information in the thread I've merged your post into may help.

To be certain of what your dreams mean, you can get a reading from one of the AIRR members that offers services in dream interpretation. You can find them here: http://www.readersandrootworkers.org/wi ... _and_Omens

Alura.. Thank you.. I've tried looking up meaning behind purple flowers and didn't find anything on lucky mojo.. some website say it's money or business , wealth. I fit none of those things at all. I do believe in my heart my ex is coming back to me maybe with a better and more sure of himself in our relationship. I just need some direction and understanding towards this dream.

The lucky mojo website doesn't have a page with dream interpretation info. Like I mentioned, consider getting a reading with an AIRR member who offers dream divination. The link you need to reach is the following: http://www.readersandrootworkers.org/wi ... _and_Omens

You could also ask the amazing Archangel Michael to protect you and banish the spirit from you. He can protect you from any spirit that's bothering you.

(This might be long, I apologize)

I'm not sure if anyone is familiar with sleep paralysis but I've suffered from it for the past few years. It happens when I'm on my stomach and like 'normal' my terror sets in. My terror stems from the fact that one, I can't move and two, I feel a presence behind me that's out of a my range of vision and I don't know who/what it is, what it wants or what it's going to do. It seems unnecessary to be terrified because nothing actually harms me. It's normal for people who suffer from SP to go through hallucinations except mine doesn't seem like a hallucination but I guess that's what hallucinations are.

The incident last night was different and the first time it has happened this way. For starters I was laying on my side. It has never happened that way. Also, I acknowledged the cause of the paralysis to the doings of a spirit. I've never done that before nor have I ever had the urge. Also, I went through a bit of validation. When I first awoke and went into SP, I immediately acknowledged the spirit and that the feeling besides the paralysis was their power. Yes, I 'felt' the paralysis and then something else. It's so hard to explain but it was like a surge of energy that my body was not ready to handle. I couldn't move but I felt…..the "flesh crawling" feeling plus tingles from when a body part falls asleep alongside the uneasiness of extreme anxiety. It was incredible but so unnerving. If I could have moved I probably would have curled up into a ball and gritted my teeth. It was so strong and so unfamiliar.
The strangest part was that I was acknowledging it as power of a spirit. It was like she (yeah I felt the need to deem her a female) was trying to prove a point to me. I remember saying "Oh, you're so powerful, she's so powerful but can you please stop". Once I said that I felt the paralysis begin to lift, as it was lifting I recanted and figured I was just off my rocker, as soon as the thought crossed my mind I felt the paralysis, the surge of energy come back full force and I immediately went back to my first thought and acknowledge it as a spirit, her power and then apologizing to her for grabbing her attention so soon/(to fast? I haven't yet understood why I felt the need to apologize to her for her attention) and then the paralysis went all the way away. It was like she was trying to show me her power, prove to me that she was powerful but also get me to understand that I wasn't ready for it. It didn't feel like she was challenging me as an opponent, it felt more like a teacher showing me all I don't know only to motivate me to learn so I could one day handle and understand her power. I didn't feel threatened by her…the incident was a bit odd and "scary" because I've never experienced anything like it.
After the paralysis lifted my curiosity got the best of me and I laid back down and talked to her. Nothing happened. I didn't hear her but I felt her. It was like she was there but was choosing not to interact with me…as if she was saying I wasn't ready and she would ignore me until I was. And then I got very very thirsty. I felt like I hadn't had a drop of water in days. I chugged some water but it didn't help much. My mouth still felt really dry and my throat kinda tight.

It took me a while to get back to sleep and even when I did finally drift off I still felt weird….and like there was persons in my room.

This morning I don't feel much of anything in my room…..It's strange.

If last night didn't feel so real and 'significant' I probably would have just chocked it up to being a regular SP moment but it just felt like so much more than that

Also I've never worked with spirits. I own some LM products for love though I haven't started working since I just got the place to myself so I can set up a nice enough alter and two school has be crazy hectic so I wouldn't have been able to properly work through consecutive days which the work calls for.

Besides thinking about benevolent spirits…I haven't actually tried to contact any. I have considered buying a herb that said to help attract them, I haven't actually bought the herb yet.

Has there ever been anything like spirit and SP being related? I just want to know just in case I'm not a loon and I need to get started on learning whatever she wants me to learn to help me understand her power.

Hi ccoralee,

Although there are medical reasons which may cause a condition such as you are describing (and you might want to have them checked just in case), there is also a long history of being visited by spirits in the night as you'll see from the long thread on the subject that I've merged your post into. Many people have had similar expériences as you'll read.

Although this particular thread focuses on getting rid of the spirit in question, should you want to contact and work with them you may want to consider enlisting the help of a rootworker who does spirit work: http://www.readersandrootworkers.org/wi ... Mediumship

You can also consult the following threads on spirit contact:
spells-to-summon-or-work-with-a-spirit- ... 82c18a4e42

Blessings.

Hi cccoralee,

You aren't a loon or off your rocker. This is a fairly common experience with beginning mediums. You are opening up psychically, spirits know this and are attracted to it.
The problem is, you don't really know what kind of spirit this is.
Personally, I don't like for spirits to invade my body the way you are describing unless invited.

I would take Aura's advice and look for a professional who can give you a reading on this and also teach you how to
let the spirit know you are in control of your body. I think that a medium can give you instruction on how to protect yourself, how to ask the spirit who it is and what it wants. Also, how to contact a spirit when you want to. A medium will also be able to teach you how to test & try a spirit to see if it is benevolent or not. Some spirits are tricksters and can come off as benevolent at first.

Be firm with this spirit. You mentioned she is powerful and I don't doubt that, if she can invade your body like that, she is pretty powerful. But you are more powerful, just know this.

You can use broom straws for protection, nine under your pillow, or you can keep a broom at the foot of your bed.
You can also start to cleanse your area. And yourself.
Just by starting to do these things lets the spirits know you know how to protect yourself.
http://herb-magic.com/broom-straw.html

There are some great books on the subject. SInce you are having these experiences I feel you are sensitive and open to channeling and possibly mediumship at some point.

These books can be bought online from the LM

http://luckymojo.com/mojocatbooks.html

"Communing with the Spirits" by Martin Coleman
"The Art of Mediumship, Psychic Investigation, Clairvoyance and Channeling" by Elaine Kuzmeskus
"Psychic Self Defense" by Dion Fortune

You are showing an aptitude for channeling and mediumship. I would encourage you to study up on the subject.

There is also something called, "Lucid Dreaming" the ability to go into the dream state but also maintain the ability to be aware of what is going on. This can be controlled and used to commune with spirits, to perform very powerful spell work and to dream true.

Please keep us updated!

Hi cccoralee, You've already been given great advice on both a magical and mundane level. But I wanted to let you know that you are not alone in this experience. I had a similar experience, but only once. It was terrifying for me at the time (it was nearly 15 years ago) and I made it very clear that I wanted nothing to do with that Spirit. I later learned that it was sent by a "friend", who was very excited and happy that I felt the presence of this entity. Needless to say I ended that relationship shortly there after.

I've wondered since that time if I shut down a potential for psychic development. I didn't really want to be a channel or medium, but if I had the resources back then I might have been able to develop skills much sooner. So I would highly recommend reaching out to those who are skilled mediums if you have a desire to develop those skills.

Best of luck!

Thanks for the great advice Aura and Susan Barnes and Miss Phoenix thanks for letting me know that I'm definitely not alone with this kind of experience.

I have experienced SP multiple times in the past few years and I've been checked for them but I'm healthy, no underlying psychological issues or abnormal stress levels that are effecting me that could be causing it. It's been chocked up to me being restless at night…or a "night owl" as my mom would call me. Sleep has never come easy for me. And now that I'm a college student I sometimes binge on late nights. It's odd thought because the SP usually sets in on nights where I lay down at a reasonable hour and I am intending on getting some rest…so I'm pretty well rested, or trying to be when SP hits.

Also like I stated before this past SP incident was different because I didn't get the terror. I got the paralysis but instead of the terror I just got an overwhelming surge of energy that I was not ready for and I felt so overwhelmed. I also felt I knew what was causing it, not exactly what she wanted besides trying to show me her power but still no terror. Also I can't exactly remember but I think my eyes were open but I wasn't "seeing" anything as if my eyes were closed - I'm still a bit confused on that part.

I'm just glad that I'm not a loon.

I haven't seriously thought about working with spirits before…I mean I have thought about it I just haven't had serious motivation to act on the interest. But now that this has happened I'm seriously interested and would like to start learning. I'll take the advice and seek professional help because I agree there is a lot I need to learn including how to detect what the spirits wants and how to protect myself and my area.

Another question, is it significant that I was so thirsty, like ridiculously thirsty? I've never been thirsty after a SP incident. And will I always have the uncomfortable feeling that I described in my first post when working with spirits? I'd love to work with them now that this has happened like I said but I'd rather not feel like I want to crawl into a ball and grit my teeth during the working because all the tingling and energy is just so overwhelming.

Again thanks for all the advice! I'll definitely keep updated!

Hi cccoralee,

As far as the "thirsty" sensation goes, I would go back to Aura's post about medical situations. You did say you are a college student which can be very stressful. You may have been dehydrated. Please drink lots of water during the day.
You're brain is working on overdrive. If you're not sleeping well and are dehydrated, you might want to just make a little pit stop into the campus clinic to get a check up.

On the other side of things, when you are starting to experience these situations, you will have a shift in energy.
Mediums are channeling a different, fast moving energy. It can be a shock to the system if one isn't used to it.
Think about it, you are the conduit to another spirit or even a lot of spirits, that takes loads of energy.

If you study this, you will become more adept at it. The fear will go away just like it does when you practice anything.
You are showing a natural inclination toward this field. But you are in college so your college studies should be your primary focus right now. There are a number of reasons why these things are happening to you at this time. I'm assuming you are young, so your hormones are at full throttle. With all these surges going on, you're also opening up psychically. You're being bombarded from all sides dear.

I would do what the forum members have advised. Read the books that have been mentioned, I saw where Miss Cat posted the links to the books. Check them out. The important thing is not to lose yourself in this right now. :)

Take care of your health, you mentioned you aren't getting enough sleep. I'd also advise a form of meditation. And I'd also advise prayer for protection. Ephesians is my favorite part of the bible for protection. Many people like psalms.

You have plenty of time. Keep up with your college studies. And when you have free time, find a medium you can talk to about it. Find out all you can about this. Get a reading on it from a reader/rootworker who is also a medium to see if this is in your life path. Or if you even want to do it.

With all this happening to you, I'd also like to see you protected.

Hello,
Can someone PLEASE help me interpret this dream i had last nite. I dream i had a SON who was moving ( I don't have a son) I got my boyfriend to who was his father in the dream to help him move . I was holding on to a mustard color leather chair while the truck was moving. I was dangling in mid air.. I didn't mind the feeling it made me feel as if i was in an amusement park . When i lost my grip i landed right behind my boyfriend who was driving.. Soon after i saw my boyfriend ( 20 years younger looking) I'm sitting on his lap and where cheek to cheek his arms wrap around me all smiling and enjoying our surrounding? What could this dream mean?

Hello,
I would like to know if my dream means anything. I got home from work and went to sleep. As I was sleep, I was holding something really, really, cold that my hands froze. I woke up and I thought my hand was asleep but it was actually freezing cold, and I was freezing myself. I was under the cover and was sweating. It is weird. My body was hot but only my left hand was freezing. When I woke up I was freezing even though I was sweating. Does that make since, or did I just confuse everyone. I have also had dreams about my ex as if I was talking to him. We broke up and pretty much I have been having a lot of dreams to where I am asking him to give me another chance. I have no idea what is going on. I would like another chance from him, but he isn't going in that direction so I have dreams about it. Please give me advice or your input please. I have payed for a reading but just awaiting for someone now. Right now I am very hurt. My heart is hurting so maybe that could be why I am dreaming weird things. Please help me try to interpret Mrs. Cat

Good Evening que25,
I am quoting our dear monitor, Aura, in answer to your question (which was posted right above yours)
I hope this helps.
Happy Holidays

Hi Miss Aida
Thanks for responding. I have tried to contact someone from AIRR. I haven't gotten an answer and I've payed as well. If the person doesn't respond by Saturday or next week is there anyway I can contact someone who checks their email and responds when you make a payment. It just makes me think I've been scammed because you send money and no response.
and no matter how many times you email, you get nothing in return. I'm.
really glad this company goes through PayPal because I can always get my money back from not getting services. I would just like to know who is a good AIRR rootworker who actually responds when someone pays? Any suggestions would be appreciated? The websites could be outdated as well and there are probably new readers.

Hi que25, all of the AIRR rootworkers are good and reputable. If you are having a hard time getting a hold of one of them I am sure it is due to a misunderstanding. Please also keep in mind that it is a holiday season and many people are away. If you do continue to be challenged in communication there is an ombudsman that you can contact, her name is Miss Bri and you can find her contact information on the AIRR website: http://readersandrootworkers.org/index. ... e=Miss_Bri

Best of luck!

I have been doing reverse work and last night I had the oddest dream.... I dreamed of a BIG PYTHON coming out of the woods behind my house. The snake was moving really slow and was huge. In the dream I was running from room to room keeping an eye on the snake and I told my best friend to come see the snake. When she looked out the window, she told me that wasn't just any snake but the one I had thrown hot water on and burned with an iron pipe. In the dream it was as if I remembered doing that to the snake. As we looked at the snake move around the house, she told me that the snake was really swollen from the injuries I had caused. The snake didn't stay in my yard it went into my neighbors yard and went underneath the house. I called the police to come get the snake and when I looked back out the window it was 3-4 men trying to get the snake out. They yelled up to the bedroom and explained that the size of the snake was so big it would be hard to get him from under the house. It would be better to wait for it to die, but the smell would be terrible. In the dream I no longer was worried about the snake it went to another setting of me and my best friend shopping.

Can someone please tell me what this means! The only thing I can think of is that my enemy is wounded.... Any suggestions and opinions are much appreciated! Also I have started another reversal spell to keep things moving.

naturesaftermath, unfortunately we cannot interpret your dream here on the forum, however there is a lot of information in your dream and I would encourage you to seek out a reading to help you with this. There are several members of Hoodoo Psychics and AIRR that are gifted with dream interpretation. There are also some great resources for dream interpretation on your own: http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatbooks.html

Best of luck!

I'm a middle school teacher, and a couple friends of one of my students came to me to say they were worried about her. She has seen dark shadows--even felt them sit on her bed--since she was younger. Her mom went to a psychic who said that it's trying to hurt her. I'm very skeptical about that...it was a psychic who does "psychic night" at a restaurant, but that's all I know. The mom wouldn't tell her daughter any more, and the daughter is very scared. She feels that it's making her sick because she vomits a lot. She's an anxious student, so while I validated that if she felt something was there before this reading, then I believe her, but I really do believe the physical symptoms are caused by anxiety and fright. I was afraid to do too much without talking to her mom, because I was afraid of being inappropriate. I emailed the mom, and I'm waiting to hear back.

I have a few supplies I can give her: sage sticks, palo santo, Protection oil, burdock root, and selenite (I thought that, if nothing else, the selenite could work as a placebo for this sweet girl). Tonight, I dressed a white candle with the oil, salt, and burdock root (and carved "PROTECT [STUDENT'S NAME]" on it. I thought about doing a tarot card reading to find out what's up, but I don't have any idea how a ghost/restless spirit/negative entity would even show up.

Any other advice? If the mom is cool, I'll give her what I have. If she's not, I'm going to try to do protection work on my own. I know nothing about dealing with ghosts, but I definitely believe this girl, and I'm extra nervous because they're getting ready to do HUGE renovations in her house, and lord only knows what that will stir up. Any advice for a newb?

Please recommend to the mother that this child see a doctor. They need to determine if she's suffering from a mental or physical illness that is causing her symptoms.

Be careful that you're not overstepping your boundaries here; the child has a mother already and she should be the one to do any work on the girl, IMHO. I'm also afraid of what your higher-ups at the school will say if they discover you're giving metaphysical supplies to a student.

I'd suggest praying for the girl instead, and leaving rootwork to her mother if she's amenable.

Good luck,

Like I said, I'm not doing anything until I find that the mom is down with it. She told me that her mom took a half day yesterday, and when she came home, the house "felt" different and smelled like "burning leaves gone bad." She thinks the mom had the house cleansed. I'm going to continue to burn my white protection candle for her, but the girl things "it" is gone. I hope that's true...I know very little about restless spirits and that sort of thing.

Hi lucyhoney23,

MaryBee has some excellent suggestions and has pointed out some of the complexities of the situation. I also wanted to add some perspective as someone who went through this exact thing as a child and who is now a teacher and familiar with some of the complicated issues involved.

First, yes I would recommend that you suggest--carefully--that the child see a medical doctor. Without going into too much personal detail, I did have this happen as a child and it was both medical and spiritual. We cannot give medical advice on the forum, but instead of having her mother go to a doctor and say she is seeing black shapes, you may recommend that she be evaluated for sleep issues. Regardless of what is going on with her spiritually, emotionally, or medically, this is disturbing her sleep. Moreover, sleep evaluations are often better at diagnosing things like depression, epilepsy, etc, than interviews alone.

Second, the poor child is clearly scared so anything you can do to make your classroom environment calm and clean will probably help. A sneaky trick I do as a teacher is put peace water or chinese wash in a plastic spray bottle with water and use it to clean my desk or my classroom. Smells great and cleans the atmosphere. Plus, it is the most innocuous, non-spiritual seeming thing you can do that packs a big punch. If anyone asks, it is new organic spray that you are trying.

Finally, why not burn a candle to St. Dymphna/ or have the MISC do one for this girl? St. Dymphna is enormously helpful in easing anxiety, fear, and any neurological/emotional issues and she can help the girl get the help she needs in such a complex situation.

I'll certainly pray for her. I hope this helps.

Greetings all

I have never worked with the Saints and I read the forums and found that St. Martha the Dominator will assist me in my petition. The day to start he rwork is Tuesday so last night I prayed to her to build up a rapport. My petition is to have my boyfriend return and open the channels of communication.

Well when I finally fell asleep, I dreamt that my boyfriend came to my house but he was " crazy", meaning he was saying things that did not make sense and dressed a little strange. In the dream I thought " maybe I have done too much work on him" and then I told him to come with me to the store so that I could soothe him. I cannot remeber the other details of the dream.

Is this a sign that I should not go ahead with St. Martha ? Or should I petition her to open the communication channels but in a gentle way so as not to dissarrange his thoughts ?

What do you guys think ?

I aopologise if this is not the correct thread

Keep a log of these dreams. If they happen about 3 times, then I would view it as a sign.

Hello!! I currently have an intranquility spirit candle burning at the MISC and among other signs that have come to me during the last days, I had a dream last night of my ex and I just wanted to tell it to someone :p

sorry if it's off topic but I'm so excited and I can't wait for my candle report! He was sitting on the floor of my house's corridor, naked and looked very tired and like he had been crying, miserable and quite tormented i might say. when he saw me he asked me to go close to him and hug him so he would feel better and when i went closer his beard looked like it was burnt and like hairs were missing. I'll take this as a sign that the candle is working!! :p what do u think?

I had a very strange dream too. I dreamed of a thin long snake that was gold. As I watched the gold rubbed off and I saw a greenish brown garden snake. I didn't understand why the gold was rubbing off. Then I saw a second brownish black snake but that one didn't bother me at all. I am not afraid of snakes but the gold one really bothered me. I woke up with a strange unsettled feeling.

I'm not sure if this means anything, but if it does I thought someone here might know what it might mean.

What are your thoughts?

Hi everyone I am new here and I had a dream that I cant make sense of and I am hoping for a little guidance... thank's for any responses in advance :)
The dream was confusing so I'll just try to give the things that stood out to me.
(1)There was a problem with the electricity I then shouted out look I saw it.. referring to a smoke like shadow but I wasn't scared I was just happy I could see it.
(2)I then found my self in a circle with my 2 daughters and someone I see just in passing I know it had something to do with the spirits but what exactly we were doing ..not sure
(3)Then I remember someone showing me a written name something like Nuyudiga or Nydigia and 4 numbers which unfortunately I cant remember :( I'm certain that would have been of some help.
I think what stood out to me more was the fact that I woke up wrote the name I saw best as I could remember and went right back to sleep which is something I have never done.

Hello everyone. I went to Popeye's this evening to pick up some supper to bring home. As I pulled in the parking lot, I saw a man acting ...odd (he was either mentally ill and seeing things, or was on some sort of drug ). He was dressed in dirty, sloppy clothes and had a wild look in his eye. I run into "folks down on their luck" a good bit ... but this guy was different. I sensed danger with this one. As I am parking the car, he comes over to the garbage can by the door ( where I will have to walk ) and reaches his entire arm down in it feeling for something, then jumps up muttering. I say to myself, "ok, here goes...", get out of my car and walk right toward the door. When I shut my car door, he was staring at me - wide eyed staring. As I walked toward the door( and him), I looked right at him ---eye to eye. When I got close to him he muttered something at me which I did not understand ... I said "Hello!" The he replied "How you doin" in a totally clear and understandable voice ... followed by the low ... whatever he had mumbled the first time. I couldn't make it out the 2nd time either, so I cocked my head to the side in a questioning way and smiled as I opened the door and got safely inside. I was standing at the counter, but I kept looking back at the door ... sure enough, he slipped in and went to the far edge of the dining area and sat in a booth.

Basically, I ordered my chicken and sometime before I left, he vanished. I don't know if he slipped in the bathroom, or out the door ... but he was gone when I walked back to my car. But when I got home, I put some FLorida Water on my arms and hands and shoulders and forehead. There were bad spirits around that dude ... that's the danger I sensed. When I showered, I poured epsom salt water over myself and prayed for Saint Michael's protection. I don't want any of that dude's BAD following me home. I have red geraniums, ferns, and rosemary by the front steps.

So, do ya'll think what I did was adequate to ensure none of his BAD came home with me? Should I be on the look out for anything? Would just walking by a person with bad spirits require me to cleanse the whole house? This is NOT normal ... this man's vibe was way off - I can't see spirits, but I can sense them and the ones around this fellow were nothing I want anywhere near me or my family or home or car etc .... Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, MoonBreath,
Wow! How bizarre!!!
You are VERY brave as I would have ran in the other direction (well, I would not have had the nerve to leave my car like you did).
I think you did the right things.
It really wouldn't hurt to perform a 13 herb bath. www.herb-magic.com/13herb-bath-13.html
And take a look at the Psalms and chose the one appropriate for getting rid of anything bad around you. http://readersandrootworkers.org/wiki/C ... _of_Psalms
Take care, BRAVE one!!

Thanks for the reply Miss Aida. :) Brave? Well, I was REALLY hungry and everyone at home was expecting me to bring back chicken so .... Anyway, so far so good. I will continue watching out a few more days, I guess. I hope that dude's spirits forget about me. Hopefully, my prayers and protections would discourage them should they try coming around. I did feel like it was very important to take extra precautions in this situation. I am glad to have learned about protection here at Lucky Mojo. I just know I need to learn more. :geek:

There are people out there who have dark spirits attached to them. I have found that these people may suffer from one condition or another. Like parasites these spirits are attached to people. A traditional way of dealing with a situation like this is to take a different route home, make sure you cross over water, or to take some water and salt and sprinkle it over your shoulder as you walk in so that nothing follows you in.

This is another reason folks wear protective charms such as evil eye or hamsa hand necklaces. Lucky Mojo has a small but attractive selection -- and other protective amulets, too.

Thank you for the advice ConjureMan Ali and MissMichaele. I have tucked it away for future reference.

As I recall, I did drive over a bridge on the way home. I washed down with the Florida Water and Epsom Salt and said my prayers. I have had a few ODD :? things happen since then ( when I was asleep ), but I have not sensed evil. I guess I cleared whatever swirled around that fellow ok...

But for the sake of argument, here is what happened: I awoke suddenly, heart racing ... I don't know why ( hadn't been asleep long enough to be dreaming yet ), but went back to sleep alright. *** that was the 1st night after encountering this fellow.
Next night ... nothing. Next day, got word a relative is nearing death and that night as I fell asleep, I jumped awake upon hearing a man's voice call my name. I got up and checked on my parents - both were sleeping ( it wasn't my father who had called me ). Next night, fell asleep ok but woke up to horrible pain in my leg - like a cramp or spasm ( but not ). Then, this morning at 5:45, I awoke with a start because the printer I brought into my room the night before, turned itself on!

Now that I think about it ... all this weirdness did start after encountering that man ... but I have not felt threatened by evil. Do you all think it could be related to encountering that man ... or just ... something else? I had thought perhaps it was my dying relative calling my name ... he is asleep mostly now. He is hundreds of miles away and had asked for me last week. It will be over a week before I could travel to see him ... if he holds on that long. :(

MoonBreath, it could be a lot of things. It could be that man opened a door, but I doubt it, as you took all of the precautions that you needed to immediately. What I am getting here is this might be more connected to your fears over the evil that was surrounding this guy. I would do a 13-Herb bath or an Uncrossing bath to help shift any negativity that might be hanging on (from him or from your own worries). Also, if you are really that worried about it you could look at getting a reading and see if there is something hanging on around you.

Best of luck!

MoonBreath, Miss Phoenix makes a good point. You could add some Tranquility bath crystals or incense to your next round of cleansing work.

Thank you Miss Phoenix and MissMichaele. I will put some Chinese Wash, Uncrossing Crystals and Jinx Killer Crystals in my Epsom Salts tonight, just to be sure. That way, I won't have to worry about that man anymore. As I said, I did not feel any evil in the odd things happening ... I really felt perhaps my relative might be trying to contact me from his sick bed ... if that makes sense. Of course, it may just be my guilt at not being able to travel to see him now. It is horrible when a dying person asks for you and you are not there ... and you can't get there.

Miss Michaele,

Yes, yes, yes. In the last 6 months I have lost 2 evil eye charms, went to purchase a 3rd on saturday, however I will read the rest of this thread and search for additional protection spells as well.

I also have Ferns & geraniums in the front and rosemary in the back. I did not realise these were protection herbs, should I consecrate the plants for added protection? Image a protection jar bauried at the from entrance and did a cleaning about a year ago with lavender.

Husband has family issues and of course they always blame the associated spouse for their own shortcomings, hence the desire/need for a protection.

Thanks for asking and allowing the piggyback on your question.

Hello Drgnflyspirit. After I did the super duper cleansing in the shower ( with the Chinese Wash and salt and Uncrossing Crystals ), things seemed to settle down, so I think I managed to avoid picking up any BAD from that fellow I wrote about at Popeye's... and ... lingering anxiety about it. Unfortunately, my relative passed away before I could visit. :( I did end up going to the funeral with other family members. Thank you for asking.

I planted the fern and rosemary for protection. Red geraniums are a popular plant to have in pots on your front porch down here - I assume most people do it for protection, but some folks might just do it because it looks pretty and not have a clue about the plant's properties. ;) I have never consecrated my protection plants formally. I put them there for that specific purpose, and I tend to talk to my plants, so I assume they know why I have them. I added another plant to the front porch - Spanish Moss. A small bunch had blown out of one of the oak trees at church and landed by my car ... so I brought it home. I have it hanging on a metal clothes hanger with some Mardi Gras beads. My plan is for it to grow into a gray curtain. We shall see if it lives ( I have never grown it before ). It too, is for protection.

I would suggest you cleanse with Chinese Wash periodically. Maybe do a honey jar on the relatives to sweeten them. If you notice anxiety or misunderstandings, or everyone starting to snap at each other after these relatives visit, cleanse your house so none of their negativity stays behind. Toxic people can leave bad vibes and bad spirits. You need to get the nasties out before it causes problems. Cleanse, seal, and protect!

Sorry to hear you did not get a chance to see your relative before he/she died, at least you were able to attend the funeral.

I need to get some Chinese wash, I've heard about it from the mojo podcast. I remember doing a vinegar baggie with names and putting it in the freezer. Now we learn the importance of keeping accurate records :-\ after I did the protection jar, well really before that the relatives do not come to my home very much.

A quote from the wide, deep and wonderful Lucky Mojo website:
Lucky Mojo Curio Co. wrote:Because hoodoo is a form of "natural magic," one of its axioms is that the herbs, roots, minerals, and other items used in root-work are themselves inherently powerful, rather than having to be "consecrated," "empowered" or "charged" with energy in the neo-pagan manner.

-- LAYING DOWN TRICKS AND DISPOSING OF RITUAL REMNANTS IN THE HOODOO TRADITION
In other words, the plants in your garden are already doing their protective work, just like "fish gotta swim and birds gotta fly." All you really need to do is introduce yourself to them, make friends with them, talk to them and take good physical care of them.

Best of luck,

hi..

i am writing in hopes of getting help for my friend. She stated she felt "something" enter her body and is ripping her organs out and is taking over her mind. She went to the hospital for help but they admitted her to the mental ward instead.. what can i do to help her? she is apprx 8 hours (driving) away from me and is under close supervision at the ward. i attempted to make a appt for reading for the next one is july. i gave her the emergency reading line number but was not able to get through either.

She feels as if she is going to die. the last time we spoke she said she asked the docs to cut her back and take out whatever is in there.. (which will only make things worse).

before it got to this point she said she was experiencing some weird outter body feelings and was not feeling as if she was herself.. and in her words.. "something spiritual is going on with my body"..

any advice? solutions?

Although some people get fixated on magic, curses, or frightening religious beliefs when they are mentally ill -- it's also possible that your friend really is under spiritual attack.

What your friend describes sounds like "live things in you" -- parasites inflicted on you by spiritual means. It is an old folk belief. More information here:
  • Free Man Narrative: H. B. Holloway
    http://www.southern-spirits.com/hollowa ... hings.html
  • IGNORANCE, SUPERSTITION, AND VOODOOISM OF THE COLORED PEOPLE by Henry Clay Bruce (1895)
    http://www.southern-spirits.com/bruce-c ... ooism.html

"This is an extract from 'The New Man: Twenty-Nine Years a Slave, Twenty-Nine Years a Free Man' by Henry Clay Bruce. [...] To him [hoodoo] is all bunkum, fraud, and deceit -- even when it happens to work. But, to be fair, he does not spare any culture's religious or magical beliefs from savage criticism [...]

"So why have i included Henry Clay Bruce's anti-conjure writings here? For two reasons:

"First, Bruce's political obstreperousness and his virulently anti-magical oratory do not diminish his value as a witness. His reports about conjure doctoring during the era of 19th century slavery are clear, well expressed, and terminologically accurate [...] In particular, his accounts of a curing ceremony for the removal of "live things" and his description of the burial of a jack under a doorstep are important [...]"
  • Live Things in You (definition)
    live-things-in-you-t11238.html
Conjureman Ali knows how to take off live things in you; I don't know if he can do it long-distance -- best to ask him.

Until you can arrange that, try this old cure for jinxes picked up in food:

"Dimes are also used to counteract a curse in hoodoo practice. Typical recipes involve boiling a dime or the filings from its milled edges in water or milk and drinking the liquid to 'kill' the effects of occult poisons such as graveyard dirt, goofer dust, rattlesnake eggs, or snake-shed dust" Also, work with St. Dymphna, just to rule out mental illness, which may be involved in addition to or instead of spiritual attack:
And with Dr. José Gregorio Hernandez, to make sure she gets an accurate diagnosis and good care:
God's blessing and good luck,

What colored candle and oils and herbs can you use to make someone dream of you nonstop?

I think you would have to work the candle to get that effect. But purple for domination red for love. LM sells a skull candle which you dress with herbs and oils and personal concerns, write the persons name on it and burn it with the intention of them dreaming of you. It would help to burn it late at night when you know they are asleep. I was told to puff cigar smoke into the face of the candle as you tell it what to think, this also works if you use a photo and puff the smoke into its face. A doll baby can be purchased and made to cause them to dream of you. Also, to make them constantly think of you, you can make a box and plaster it with your photos and hang their photo in it or place a doll baby so where ever they look they always see you.

Thank you j82 for the advice I am going to do that im trying to get back with my ex boyfriend from high school we were together for 2 weeks but I had to move to another city and we parted. He liked me a lot back then. We haven't seen each other in 8 yrs and we just started talking on facebook and calling each other on the phone for the past 4 days now.I found his pic pop up as a "peope you may know" on facebook. Lol. I put follow me boy and dressed it on a "6" inch taper pink candle with cleo may and jezebel and carved in his name and birthday on the candle and put some cinnamon and some crushed juniper berries on the candle and printed a pic he recently took off his facebook on the bottom of the candle. He is interested in a relationship with me he is saying he wants to take me out the dinner and to the beach to spend some time together and hug me and catch up where we left off. So I guess my spell did it's job. And he is a scorpion and this morning when i woke up I was sweeping my front porch and I almost stepped on a scorpion that was trying to enter in my house thru the front door. So im taking that as a sign of movement. I just want him to dream of me so he won't forget about me and hook up with other girls because he works as a personal assistant for the famous people and hollywood actors and he goes out a lot on the weekends to like really nice clubs and all the fun stuff famous people do . And we live a hr away from each other im trying to find a place near him if this thing really goes out the way i expect ;)
