Hi, I'm not sure I quite understand the nature of this oil. Could someone please help explain the intent and characteristics of this oil and give examples of circumstances under which one would use it?

Adam & Eve oil is a love-drawing oil aimed at helping a person see another person as life-mate material. It's a nice formula for drawing a long-lasting love, but especially to help create a romantic connection between two people who already know each other and have an established friendship.

Just a thought given to me thru spirit...

I have not seen one like this ..but perhaps someone here has.

I have a Adam and Eve root pair.. Name the Female part in my name and the male root in his name.
Can I dress the root pair with the Adam & Eve Oil?
then add Come To Me & Attraction to the female root so that the male root responds?
Dress 2 magenta pink candles the same way -one named in my name,one in his
photos of each of us dressed the same way attached to our candle
move him to me every day until completed

Hello, GreenEyes2,

Adam and Eve Root is a rare, endangered species of Orchid called Aplectrum hyemale or Putty Root. (It is called Putty root because even when dry, it is sort of flexible.) It is called Adam and Eve because last year's root grows entwined with this year's root, so it comes in a pair of greyish-tan roots, one full and round and the other shriveled, connected by root-threads. Adam and Eve is now an endangered species, and no one can dig up or sell the roots, even if they know what the plant is.

There is one company that distributes fake Adam and Eve Root all over America (Indio / Cultural Heritage is the name of the company), and i suspect that unless you grew the Orchid yourself, you are not using real Adam and Eve root but a kind of edible Asian grain seed related to Corn (white) and a Balm of Gilead (Poplar Tree) Bud (light brown) -- neither of which are even roots. If they scammed you, you will not be the first one they have cheated. They started this back in the early 1990s and there are still people unfamiliar with the real Adam and Eve Root who buy their junk.

To avoid being scammed, please get hold of my book "Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic," which will give you the real names of magical plants and tell you how to use them in traditional hoodoo spells.

One more added concern to each of our name and blessed candles ..a thin cloth attached with both of our sexual fluids mixed together?? That should add a complete link right?

Ok here we go... I just put the Adam & Eve Oil ,Come To Me & Attraction Oil on a cotton square with some of my personal fluid and named who it was only for and from ..folded it up in my pant pocket and when he came to pick up our daughter I was standing on his side of the truck in front of our home...I coated his door handle on the outside and inside,

then for back up I made sure I rubbed my hands,wrists and neck with all 3 oils before he got here to our home, he had his window down ..so I made sure I touched and rubbed his left forearm with my hands so it directly went on him and also rubbed down the inside of his driver door with as much as I could ... ...

Now there should be a link established correct ??

This is going out for my estranged husband .. we have not divorced only been separated..

Well This evening I am starting my Adam & Eve Root and candles all the below!!! So Today is The Day ..New Moon and a Friday-Venus..this should be an intense hoodoo work with the same oils I just put on him and his truck ..right under his nose. My creative passion is taking control

Love Adam & Eve Oil!!

UPDATE ..Day 1

Just so everyone knows , I know this topic is about Adam & Eve oil... but it has evolved to a higher level for me on what I am working on in the Adam & Eve section.. This oil really is responding for me. What I can say is he had our daughter call me at 6:30am

this morning. It was a call to me from his phone with his ringtone... this is not usual for or from him. I will take it as a sign that there is positive action going on since my intense Adam & Eve oil work began last night at about 6:30p.. This is a fact and no coincidence.
I can tell you that I was super tired and sleepy after my work was sound asleep by 11p..Basically Spirit said I'm taking over you rest and sleep..
I was focused on My Eve candle flame being so low almost going out upon lighting and going to bed and His Adam flame popping and cracking and being high and strong.... Waking up with out an alarm clock at 5:15am... Guess What My Eve Flame nice and Steady,His Adam flame nice and dancing... of course I talked to him .telling him good morning my love..(flame danced higher)

I loaded both our vigil candles with Adam & Eve Oil 1st .. I use a thin metal pick to bore down 3 holes in a triangle shape. Then load up all holes with Adam & Eve... I however am adding a few more oils and concerns

I hope I'm not annoying anyone by bringing up an old thread.

I tried using Adam and Eve over the weekend and got a COMPLETELY unexpected reaction.

I'm looking for a new love, and have been for YEARS (yes, I've tried other oils - no luck). I dabbed on some Adam and Eve before going out on Saturday night.

I didn't meet anyone at the concert, but on my way out the door I reached down to pet my cat goodbye. And he went INSANE.

My cat is VERY attached to me (I hand-raised him when his mother rejected him). But he doesn't normally respond to oil scents by going crazy, letting out a mix of "happy" and "I want that" squawks, etc.

So...my soulmate is my CAT? I love him very much, but come ON...

Oils do not cause unintended effects, if you put the oil on without petition and prayer then it was basically making you smell nice, and of course the essential oil therapy aspect. Cat could simply be reacting to you and have nothing to do with the work at hand. Adam and Eve oil works great on the matching name of candles and using adam and eve root to help draw in the perfect love.

In my recent reading, it's been stated that Adam & Eve products can help someone realize that their love is already in their life. However in this particular thread there doesn't seem to be a lot of information on how to facilitate that. I know I can write a petition and dress a candle with this oil, but the great minds here are more adventurous than that. Or should I just stick by the tried and true methods?

Please note that Eve and Adam orchid root is highly endangered and is therefore not available for purchase from Lucky Mojo. Curios but could she use a High John Root and a Queen Elizabeth root in place of the two roots? I know in other spells one can be used as a male and other female root.I did not realize the two roots were endangered!! I just wonder if this would be an acceptable substitute for them?

Hello JayDee,

That is a possibility, but the Adam and Eve formulation contains appropriate substitutes for the endangered Eve and Adam root (and it's a singular root, not two) so there wouldn't be a need to craft something separate. Of course, it wouldn't hurt to use a High John root and Queen Elizabeth root in such a spell, it just wouldn't be required.

I just got this stuff in the mail yesterday & wow, holy cow it works fast!!!! <3

It seems to have really started working on my target almost immediately. He's become way nicer & more romantic in the sense. This stuff also smells amazing, so much that my target wanted to wear some lol He has no idea what this stuff even is which is even cooler so I can lay my tricks on him easier.

That is a better question than you might know! When i was young, before transgender surgery was available, many gay and lesbian couples emulated male-female couples. There would be a more masculine and a more feminine partner. Therefore choosing one Queen Elizabeth Root and one John the Conqueror Root seemed appropriate to many queer couples.

By the late 1960s, queer culture developed an interest in matched pairings -- this was the era during which androgyny became a new ideal.

More recently, with the availability of gender-transforming surgery, the old rules of remaining "same sex" began to disappear, and those who fully transitioned often divorced themselves from any remnant of their former gender.

At this point, the gendering of roots and herbs, based in cis-genderedness as the norm, has become a more nuanced matter of preference than of folklore. It still applies to and is used among the ci-gendered, but in queer spaced anyone can be what they wish to be and express themselves as they prefer, and that includes choosing roots to represent them (or stones, or shells).

An interesting response.

As a cis-gendered and rather imperiously equalitarian woman (i am a Taurus with Mars conjunct Venus in Aries!) i too enjoy Master Root. it is closely related to Angelica Root (Dong Quai) which is, medically, an estrogen root, and hence a woman's root. So, in a way, it is a balance-gendered by its form and the socially dominant energy expressed in the name "Master."

I recommend Master Root when a client of any gender-identification seeks domination in the workplace (or sexually, via BDSM), and i think that twinned and tied Master Roots (or "fingers" thereof) make for a nice queer pairing. But i would probably use Q Oil or Lavender Love Oil for this pairing rather than Adam and Eve Oil.

For a dominant woman and a submissive man, i take advantage of the "tonugue-curled" form of selected Queen Elizabeth roots and nestle a small John the Conqueror root within the curve of the larger Queen Elizabeth Root, dress them both with Adam and Eve Oil, fix then firmly in place with beeswax, and then wrap the two together with red pearl cotton crochet thread. to form a bundle.

There is art and artistry in learning about the client's preferences and crafting the perfect amulet or mojo hand ingredient for their desires.

So now my question changes to this: What formula would you use with similar effects to Adam & Eve combined with Lavender Love, specifically in regard to the aspect of the lover being someone the practitioner knows? My immediate thought would be Chuparrosa or Dixie Love. Would Love Me work for it? Now I'm just pondering on what combinations to use.
