NW Hoodoo

Unread post by sebastian_lvx » Tue Sep 01, 2009 5:01 pm

Hey there everyone, so it looks like I posted before introducing myself (mea culpa). My name is Michael-Sebastian and I hail from Seattle in rainy Washington State. I'm a work for Seattle and King County Public Health by day and by night I'm a dedicated student of the Western Esotericism & initiate of Ordo Templi Orientis.

I became interested in Rootwork/Hoodoo out of the desire to learn more about the magical practices which growing in my own backyard as well as find something a little more down-to-earth than walking around in circles, drawing stars in the air and chanting various words in Hebrew/Greek/Enochian until my head spins - so far I have not been disappointed and would eventually love to take the Lucky Mojo Coursework once things calm down. Until that point, I've do what I can to read reliable sources about hoodoo as well as the various socio-spiritual cultures that make the practice what it is today.

Beyond that, I look forward to participating in the discussions on this forum, learning from those who have more experience than I and hopefully contributing in some small way to some of the topics on board.
