Does anyone have any advice on petitioning the Virgin of Guadalupe? It would be greatly upappreciated. Lately I have been drawn to her, and want to make sure I do not offend her. Thanks!

She's very easy going and loving. Just Google prayers to her, say them, and then state your petition. Of course LM has a fantastic line of Guadalupe products that you can use for dressing candles and such, too!

A good offering would be to leave some Miraculous Medals on the console at your nearest Eucharistic Adoration chapel. Burying them on the corners of your property is also a good idea when petitioning any iteration of Mary. They're stupendously cheap (most Catholic bookstores have a basket of them in various sizes for less than a dollar), so have some on hand and give them to charities and so on.

Barring an altar, some roses on a statue of her in a graveyard or at a church are also reasonable. If you keep an eye open, you can find statues of Mary in all sorts of crazy places, sometimes really out of the way.

I've found that when praying to the Virgin of Guadalupe, she will always give you a sign that she as heard your prayer. I started praying to Guadalupe because I also had an attraction to her image. She is very mellow, she doesn't require a lot. Right now I have a statue for her, a glass encased candle and a mini travel altar I've made for her. I recently even got a rosary with her image on it. She can be asked just about anything.

My room mates and i have been searching for a perfect rental since the end of May, so that we could finally settle into a nice neighborhood and be happy.

After several failed attempts I petitioned Our Lady of Loretto and asked that she please bring us a suitable rental and quickly.

I believe in my soul that my petitions to St. Expedite and Our Lady of loretto were heard and answered. We found an amazing place to call home for the next two years. An it all seemed to just fall into place so easily, no search involved just offered to us. AMAZING!

Has anyone worked with her? Or know how one petitions her?

I was told people tend to pray for her for clarity, fairness, justice, and general help when in need -- but that's about it. I've found some history about her (mostly in Spanish), but nothing yet on how people pray to her or what they offer her or anything.

I've found one prayer (in Spanish), and that some people in areas like the Dominican Republic will do a procession on September 24th, which is her day. That is generally about it.

Yes you can work with two saints in most instances.

Offerings for Our Lady of Guadalupe could be flowers (especially roses), fruit, a pilgrimage to her basilica in Mexico City, or a donation to charity.

Petitioned My Black Madonna statue and she came through. Now I want to offer her thanks but the rose bush I planted seems cheep compaired to what she did, is there anything else I can do?

Also I now feel bad about putting the statue back in the trunk where I kept her. Where do others keep their statues when not needed?

I'm not a Catholic, but it seems to me if you feel bad about putting the statue away perhaps you should make a space were you can display her permanently? Creating a home for a spirit who walks with you is very traditional. As for the rose bush... my mother grew up in extreme poverty, she always taught me it's not what you can give, but what's in your heart when you give it. (and to me a rose bush seems like a fine gift-- especially if you take good care of it)

I agree with Lee. You can set up a little altar for your statue, it need not take up a lot of space. You could use a shelf, a small table, a nightstand, or a dresser. If you feel a need to make an additional gift, a donation to a charity would be nice, especially if it is related somehow to your petition.

I've recently started working with Our Lady of Carmel. This is her prayer, and its not known to fail. This is my publication, and the prayer brings me calm.

I have a good experience with Our Lady of Loretto, 17 years ago I asked her for the house I had in my dreams and even I couldn't buy the house the owner decided to rent it and she called me, I still live this house as if I were the owner, I have the image of Our Lady of Loretto in my front door, I very happy with her and of course I have the best landlord in this world.

I had to scramble to find an apartment suddenly because my roommate shafted me. I prayed to her and made her a special devotional jar. She not only found me a great affordable place in a great area -- but it was another flat owned by my current (great) property managers. They are letting me roll in and roll over my security deposit -- and they said they are happy to have me move in.

Caridad del Cobre is my MAIN Saint. Known in Catholicism as Nuestra Virgen Caridad Del Cobre (Our Lady of Charity)

And her syncretism in Santeria is Oshun (also spelled: Ochun).

She is the Patron Saint of Cuba and she has always been there for me during my entire life.

I love her and I adore her. And am forever her servant.

I have never known Our Lady to be "mad" at a devotee.

Most likely, whatever you are asking, the answer is: "No"

If this wasn't a Lucky Mojo candle, the problem could also be a bad candle.

I have many Spanish speaking friends and I always tell them about the Lucky Mojo products, I keep telling them that besides Mexico, I found things at the store that I can't find anywhere else; but they feel a bit shy about their English. My mother was Catholic but never shared her religion with us. She lit vigil candles with Saints in our home, but never explained what they were for. I've been thinking about my mother and her Catholicism quite a bit since listening to the show. I would like to petition her for the 1st time ever. I have heard so many wonderful things about her. Since I cannot buy a candle for her since the Missionary Independent Spiritual Church has ended its candle services, what are my other options now? I have looked and called and I cannot find a spiritual store in my area that sells her candles. Can I buy a plain candle and print her picture off of the Internet? How does my altar have to be set up? What are her offerings? I am in need of some money to pay a few bills until the man call me about a job. How do I honor her? I am so new to this, so any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
