You do not have to start the spell before sunrise. As this is just a preference, and a guideline. You can start a spell whenever you like. I think you should be fine to start the kit right before sunrise as its still going to be the new moon. But if you like to work with the moon and only the moon ...

You can do that, but you could make a general petition such as "bring me a new job" add your personal concerns, and other ingredients then close the jar. Then under the honey jar you can add each job application you feel out so you dont have to keep opening the jar.

if it were me, I'd redo the paper until it were perfect before putting it in the honey jar. next time try using a sharpie permanent marker (extra fine) or a red coloured pencil - neither of these will smudge when you anoint them.
