My story

Unread post by lizardjam » Mon Sep 11, 2017 9:38 am

Hi everyone,

I'm Liz and I'm in the Dallas area. I work as a marketing/digital media specialist. For as long as I can remember I've been an avid student of the different spiritual paths a person can take. Never truly finding my own. But I guess all my research and study is its own path - maybe.

I discovered Lucky Mojo during a really stressful time - home buying. The DFW market has gone crazy and after looking for almost a year, my husband and I finally found a house we mutually loved and a lender. We made the offer at $4k BELOW (you don't do that in this market) their asking price. That same day the sellers had another offer for selling price. They held out for more offers and said they would make their decision on Sunday, which happened to be Christmas Day.

A little aside - the sellers are very active in their church and they wanted to sell so they could go devote more time as missionaries.

Well, as you can guess we did not get the house. What a depressing thing to tell a person on Christmas. Our real estate agent is a good family friend and I felt bad that she had to break the news to us. We were devastated as we had looked at other houses and none of them were even close to what we wanted, but we made offers anyway. My heart was locked on the one and in my mine I knew it was out. I had even purchased an item for it specifically.

At the same time I had started researching Voodo and Hooddo extensively after a trip to New Orleans that previous May. I wanted to learn more and I stumbled onto the site and the forum. Well, while I was here I thought there wouldn't be any harm in looking for a real estate spell I could do. I came across one for the honey in a jar for sweeten transactions. I didn't have any honey, but that was okay I could use sugar. And I happened to have some raw organic sugar. So I prepped my paper, threw in some other money drawing items like cloves, ginger, allspice, and cinnamon. I put the paper in the sugar jar, put three teaspoons of the sugar mix in a cup of coffee, lit my candle on the lid, thought about what I wanted and how I would decorate the house, and sipped my coffee.

I focused everything I had into that candle flame and prayer for the house. The candle burned itself out and my phone rang. It was my real estate agent. I had missed several of her texts sent during my deep meditation. On New Year's eve we signed the contracts on the house. The sellers had only received two offers and they had accepted the asking price offer. It turned out that man wanted too much work done before he took it. They refused wanting the fast sell.

The house was ours still at the $4k under. I was floored. I kept the jar on hand and changed out the paper when we had a few issues with the lender that almost lost us the house - that's a story for another time. And it even involved a paper in my shoe from the Lucky Mojo library of books.

We've been in the house for six months and I've been grateful to my ancestors every day for their help. I look forward to expanding my knowledge in art form. It truly is an art.

Liz

Hello Liz,

Welcome to the forum and to the Lucky Mojo family!

Thank you for coming and sharing--that's quite the story! Congratulations on your new house :)

I am posting the most popular threads and some forum rules for you to look over.
And we are looking forward to seeing you on the forum.
If you ever have any questions, we are ALWAYS here for you.
Enjoy!!

These are links to general information on Hoodoo and to give you a jumping off point.

Here is some info on how the forums are set up. It is divided into four parts:

1) News and Announcements about the Lucky Mojo Curio Company and this site.

2) Lucky Mojo Spiritual Supplies and how to use them, listed in threads by product type and product title.

3) Life Conditions and Situations, with recommended Lucky Mojo products, spells, and advice.

4) The Online Hoodoo Community, including sites, events, and outreach sponsored by Lucky Mojo.

When you post, it helps your moderators, who are recompensed volunteers, if you post in the area of the board that is best suited to the archival of your question or comment. That way moderators will not have to move your post or merge it into ongoing threads.

If you can't find a post you made, it may have been moved or merged. Go to your profile by clicking on your name and "search recent posts" -- you will find it.

Within each board section there are STICKY threads -- ones that always stay "stuck" to the top. These are popular discussion-threads that you can read and add to if your questions or comments fall into one of these oft-broached topics. If you don't see a "sticky" that relates to your question, feel free to start a new thread in the relevant section.

We do have a few "thou shalt not" rules here, and they can be found in the Forum Rules link at the top of each page. Most important for newbies are these four common errors to avoid:

1) Please do not come here asking for our formulas for conjure oils or for instructions on how to use spiritual supplies that you bought at a grocery store or at a competitor of ours; this is the Lucky Mojo Forum and is financially supported by the Lucky Mojo Curio Co.

2) Please do not spam the moderators by sending multiple duplicated private messages asking for personal help outside the board; many of our moderators do perform readings and rootwork spell-casting for clients, but they are professionals and you should approach them as you would any other professional.

3) Please do not post illegal copies of material from other web sites or from books.

4) Please do not post put-downs of any group of people based on their religion, race, or national origin, including derogatory comments

5) Please do not start new topics

6) Please do not quote people
