Always had interest, "Feared" the work...
My name is PrincessDrRe - Dore'
I was born in MI; but raised in LA and knew to "steer clear" of certain people because they "did work".
I have always had an interest in both Voudoun and hoodoo but didn't know where to go.
Love reading the forum & did make a "small order"...but would like to learn more...

Hello, and welcome to the forum.
You won't find much about the religion of Voudoun here. This is mostly a place to discuss and learn about African American folk magic, also known as conjure, rootworking, spiritual work, helping yourself, tricking, and hoodoo. The type of work we practice ranges from the oldest "down home" styles that developed in the South in the 18th and 19th centuries, through the more urban styles that came up after World War One.
If you are unfamiliar with the differences between Voodoo and hoodoo, please read this Hoodoo History web page that i wrote to explain some of the background of this form of work:

Good luck!

Re: Always had interest, "Feared" the work...
I am learning...there IS a difference. I also listened to some of the radio program between work via my phone today! I know you're taking Easter off...so this will give me time to look more at all the information you have on-site at Lucky Mojo.
Thank you for answering back! I'm reading over other topics as to not repeat questions that I could have just "read over" - and appreciate all the knowledge that has been put in one place!
My "small" order consisted of a "dressed" King Solomon Candle, Adam & Eve Candle, and a Black Cat Candle. It also had Crown of Success Oil and Pine Oil.
Crown of Success has already helped me in keeping my mouth shut and just being "smart in silence" with new bosses at work. It also helped me in "opening my mouth at just the right time" to make my point/position known.
I am buring the King Solomon Candle and only putting it out when I leave the house as I am in Finals at school. The Adam & Eve is actually "back burner" right now - as I realize that I got "work to do" on me. Black Cat will be started on Wednesday and burn until Friday for a casino trip. I will report back my success with these two....
Blessings Mrs. Yronwode!

Welcome, PrincessDrRe!
I just want to chime in and say that King Solomon Wisdom is useful for much more than passing exams or mastery of course work. In fact, I advise my clients to mix it into all their love and prosperity work, to enable them to recognize opportunities, understand their spouse or lover, and make wise decisions.
Good luck and good magic,
Miss Michaele

Re: Always had interest, "Feared" the work...
I passed the exams! I also received another license during this time!
Thank you so much for your kind words and welcoming. I'm continuing to use my Crown of Success for work and
didn't go to the Casino (just didn't go....) - will start using my Adam and Eve again now as I think I'm "ready" for
love...

Congrats on the exams! Happy that the Crown of Success has been such a gr8 aid at work. If you'd eventually like to try it, I've had wonderful results with a combination of Steady Work, King Solomon Wisdom and Clarity.
Keep up the interest and please do keep sharing the results
Blessings.

Re: Always had interest, "Feared" the work...
Popping back in...have been "busy" and not checkin' in as I should...
I had two figure candles (as I was advised on the Rootwork show) and had them tied together with a red ribbon that was soaked in Come To Me oil.... I lit it for three nights...then realized that I may have been burning it wrong...
I'm still learning...and searching through the different forums!
Happy New Year!

PrincessDrRe, we are all learning as we go and adapting to what works for the situation. If you retained a coach to help you along your journey, that person would teach you the way he or she works, still you will adjust as you go and according to the situation. Good Luck in your work and a successful and protected 2013.
