Howdy Y'all

Unread post by 213_2 » Sun Mar 01, 2009 6:28 pm

Hi!

I'm 213 and I grew up in a family of undercover hoodoo practitioners and healers. Somewhere along the way, someone decided that the knowledge would no longer be passed down. Neither my mother nor I got to learn things like herbs and their uses or how to interpret dreams (although I've got the dream thing 'naturally'). I bought Cat's book and kept having Aha! moments about things like nails and knotted string in a jar. The only thing I was ever taught was how to stop bleeding with a bible verse. I learned to read playing cards by listening to what my mother remembered seeing when she was a child. I refined my techniques with some internet research.

My favorite hoo doo books are Black and White Magic and Cat's of course. I'm not very good at casting spells so usually I call Lucky Mojo or ask a friend to to it for me. That mean's I'll probably ask a LOT of questions.

:)
