Hi,

I'm new to the forum (and LuckyMojo), this is my first post actually. I'm wanting to use magick to support my prayers of petition and affirmations.

I have asked about business spells in the money portion of the Forum. This is more about working on myself.

I have 2 businesses - one that pays the bills and funds the 2nd one that I'm very passionate about and want to see it become an 8-figure business under my leadership. Yes, I have a very big vision and I know it is 100% possible - but I need increased sales, increased media coverage, Angel investors, and to be more business savvy. However, it's just me and I've been at this for 6 years. This year was a breakthrough year, got a big retailer, but still have a long way to go (I still am not drawing a salary or able to hire help).

So while I must do work to increase sales and media attention (see my request for spell help in the money/success forum), I'm not focused enough, and honestly sometimes I'm just not getting enough done (and it's laziness and lack of self-discipline).

It is so hard to keep at it when it's been an uphill slog for so long - and I feel I need to cast a spell on myself to kick my butt into high-gear so that I'm working faster, smarter, have crazy self-discipline and zero laziness.

I saw a post where someone said they wore Power Oil when they really needed a kick in the pants, or Van Van Oil, but I wanted to ask if there's a spell you'd recommend that can accomplish this, preferably something that can be done regardless of the moon cycle?

Do I need to use Block Buster in some fashion first?

Miss Aida, thank you! I didn't find those threads when I searched before, wow!

To get rid of the nasty habit of procrastination and unorganization, do you think it's best to dress a black candle (or white? ) with Cast Off Evil oil and burn that now even though it's a waning moon right now, and use words like "increase productivity" rather than "eliminate procrastination", or would an ammonia bottle spell work better?

I love the suggestion in a post above about burning Power incense while working, or using the oil in a diffuser. Never even though of that! Not being familiar with the incense powders, how many incense cones can you typically make out of one packet of incense powder?

It sounds like King Solomen and Power oils are what I need to use on candles (and then maybe use them in a diffuser daily in my work space? ). What kind of diffuser do you recommend for that?

Does this sound like a good plan of action?

Hello hlb111,

I'd use a white candle, and I'd keep the goals of getting rid of bad habits and increasing productivity separate. Otherwise it's too much conflicting energy for one candle spell (banishing and attracting/increasing). So, I'd do one to get rid of the bad habits using the Cast Off Evil products, and then another candle spell to increase/attract the qualities you want (focus, mental concentration, etc.).

As for the number of incense cones you can get out of one packet, it really depends on how big you make your cone.

As for the diffuser question, this forum is focused on Lucky Mojo products so we can't really discuss various kinds of diffusers. I'd check Google. And I think the diffuser is a cool idea.

Thank you for your advice, that is very helpful as I'm very new to this.

How many times should I light those candles - should I use a votive or 7-day and let one burn out before lighting the other one (and do the same thing with it, let it burn out) or should I light the candles and say my words and then extinguish the candle and repeat this for a certain number of days? I'm unsure of when it's good to just let a candle burn out and when it's good to extinguish and re-light to do the work for multiple days. Does one of the books of Miss Cat address that at all?

I need help before my relationship ends because of my insecurities. My S/O is a good looking guy and he's also outgoing so I always assume women want him. I've even said to him that I think he goes around having sex with a lot of women (I don't remember how it came up in conversation, but I know it's something that bothers him because he's brought it up before. But he's always stated he isn't the type to randomly sleep with women.) He actually is annoyed that I think that about him. But it's not him, it's me. I've been cheated on a lot so in the back of my head I'm waiting for him to cheat as well. I know he's not a cheater. But there's always the insecurity in the back of my head.
I think part of the reason I feel insecure (aside from the past cheating) is that I don't feel attractive (in general).
I would like to know what I can use on myself to get rid of the negative feelings I have (about myself), and to get rid of the insecurities. I have an uncrossing candle, would that be okay to use until I place a new order?

I'm having a problem with a monster wart complex on the bottom of one of my toes. I just got back from the doctor having frozen it for the third time now and it hurts like the dickens. He is talking about sending me to a dermatologist to get chemo drugs injected into it and have it "rot off." Well, that sounds scary to me. I would much rather turn to hoodoo. I've noticed that sometimes even the really simple stuff works surprisingly fast and well (like a sugar bath to sweeten someone.) I'm planning on calling a certified rootworker tomorrow, but I'm in too much pain right now to talk on the phone. I want to order a candle to be lit right away.

The obvious choice would be Healing, but that sounds to gentle to me. I want to kill that virus! Would a Destruction candle be an unwise choice for killing that virus? Would I be wiser to pick something like Cast Off Evil, or should I just get the Healing candle for now? It's possible this could be a symptom of magical attack. I've had these warts for many years, they have just gotten worse. I thoroughly uncross myself on a regular basis with the LM products and use FWOP, but you know, these warts are from years before I ever started doing hoodoo.

I wasn't sure what category to post this question in, but I am most interested in developing or enhancing a well developed, good old-fashioned mannerism for the purposes of improving interactions with others on the job (I currently work two, very different, jobs). It seems to me that Politeness, courtesy, kindness, warm-heartedness, a welcoming nature, kindliness...those things have just gotten lost today. I admire old fashioned manners, and I would like to help myself to develop tact in handling situations where others lack it. I often have to interact with very ill-mannered people at both jobs. I do have the skills to do just that, but at times all the negative energy can just sneak it's yucky little way in and start affecting my psyche and subsequently my emotions and I end up acting with a lack of tact right along with all the others. I am looking for a spell suggestion and also roots/herbs/curios that can be used to help foster those good old fashioned manners that have gotten lost in today's world. - especially if a person has never really been shown them or taught them in the first place. -When you have a rough upbringing, it is all too easy to fall into old ways of thinking, old ways of being. I do have a basis from which to work, as far as manners go. However, I am surrounded by negative people. I have a protection mojo, I a protection lamp, and a van-van type mojo to help keep the "yuck" away. I also go to the river often to ask for cleansing from anything that is not good. I take pretty good care of things as far as staying cleansed and protected goes. - I am wondering why this question(about manners) hasn't been asked before?

Just getting back into the dating game after wasting nearly a year trying to get back with an ex and finally realizing that's never going to happen.

Anyway.... I'm working on self esteem issues and whatnot but a guy I met online has asked me out and wants to meet TOMORROW. So obviously I have very little time to work on that between now and then in which to order anything new (which I still plan to do but looking for emergency help in the meantime). However, I do have a plethora of LM herbs at my disposal and a few oils both of the self-made and LM variety. Any recommendations on spells/oils/herbs I can use that will make me appear more physically attractive to him? I know he likes my personality as we've been talking on the phone for a couple weeks and he SAYS he thinks I'm beautiful but that doesn't mean he'll think so once he sees me in person.

Here's the deal, why am I worried? I'm overweight. I mean, I put honest pictures in my dating profiles, don't get me wrong. But I always worry that I don't look as good in person. Probably because my ex (who I also met via online dating) told me several times that when he met me in person the first thing he thought was "she looks fatter than her pics". Anyway it's kind of to the point where it's crippling and I don't want to meet anyone ever. I am in a new city so it's difficult to meet anyone any other way than online dating. Update! My warts are pretty much completely gone. I halted all conventional treatment. (I had gotten them frozen three times, very very painfully with no success)

1. I ordered a healing candle from MISC with a petition to make the warts go away. The candle report came back saying I needed to continue working on this issue.

2. I submitted a prayer request to the Crystal Silence League to make the warts go away. Amazing! I can feel it every time someone is praying for me. I think this made the biggest difference.

3. I used one of those korean foot peel boots, which I had done before a few months ago. Last time I did it, nothing happened. I don't think this is what worked, but may have helped things along.

4. I soaked the warts in elderberry elixir with a cotton pad a few times each week. Elderberry is a very effective anti-viral, which is where I got the idea. But in Miss Cat's book, it says that elder is used for protection and to ward off natural or unnatural illness. I think that makes it a perfect herb for any work to get rid of warts. If I ever have to do work on warts again, I will turn to elder.

Also, I want to mention that making it bleed can spread the virus. My doctor was not afraid to touch the warts with his bare hands, until he accidentally made me bleed. After learning that I was more careful to not draw blood.

That surprises me because Look Me Over has great results.

I used it at an event and even guys who hate me (we are in a competitive dog sport) couldn't stop looking at me. And I am an OLD WOMAN.

So, let's see:

You took the 13 days bath, used protection or blessing oils when you got out. And then used the Look me Over. And that didn't work.

You may want to either have MISC light a blockbuster candle for you or try the spell yourself. And, start praying to an entity for assistance

So this still isn't working. Been wondering if a modified "cut and clear" type spell on myself is in order. So, I'd reiterate the question that Miss Aida asked you over there: Have you tried any of the spellwork? If you do them earnestly, I think they could help you feel better about yourself. I'd also say you should make a list of all the things that you like about yourself and tape it up somewhere where you will see it every day. Like next to your bathroom mirror.

Also, if these thoughts are causing you to feel depressed at all, you might consider going and talking to a therapist. They can help you work through that.

I did buy some clarity oil and healing oil and worked it on a skull candle, I also worked with St. Dymphna until she made it pretty clear she did not want to work with me. Anyway, I have been seeing a therapist for years and mostly it's effective. But he can't change the way I look.

Why don't you try some Master products? That may help with your self-esteem. And, believe me, if we have a poor self esteem, the attraction/look me over/etc won't work because you are suppressing your aura (and people subconsciously see this and stay away). I would like to do some work on myself to increase exactly those things in the thread title -- self-esteem, self-love & confidence -- but at the moment, the only LM products I have that could be applied to this are Venus bath crystals, Venus oil and Bewitching oil. In your opinion, would it be helpful to combine Venus & Bewitching for this purpose? Or should I simply work with Venus? It seems that Bewitching might be good for the confidence aspect though...

Hi everyone I'm new! How are you all?

This is such a helpful thread - I'm super desperate looking for answers so thank you in advance for any help you are willing to give at all.

I have a question regarding skin issues but the twist is it is with a cat so I'm not sure how specifically to deal with this. I'm now taking my cat to a second doctor after being prescribed something (likely wrongly) with a steroid in it for 7 months basically straight for an unknown ear infection the doctor now isn't sure an infection was what was had in the first place - we don't know what the problem of origin is and now... my kitty is balding on his head ears and neck and has cracked scabs a big one on his neck and his ears are so weak they are folding. I have to keep a cone on because if I don't my cat will scratch his ears and tear the skin (with no hair it's very weak and too thin) - he's had many stitches in because of it.

I cry a lot about it because I don't know how to solve it. The doctor says he wants to wait on further testing - that allergies could have started the issue in the first place but he's not sure and that he may just recover on his own after months of the steroid going away. I'm not sure what is best to do, being Christian I have petitioned St. Francis (currently the second time) and the first time he seemed to improve a lot and so did my other furbabyboo who actually got better from something else so THANK YOU St. Francis in a major way.

It was after that however that chunks of hair started to fall out of my cat's head (it was just the ears before).

1.) I want to know if there's anything else specifically I can to solve this - I don't even have an accurate diagnosis yet so that's what's messing with me and the vet bills have been kinder in the past.

2.) I have heard about Boneset and Angelica is good, so I made a tea of the boneset and sprinkled it all over my cat with my hand who was oddly still the whole time. That was yesterday. My cat looks incredibly weak today so I hope I did that okay, the other one looks great today so it didn't seem to harm that one?

3.) Also is there an herb mix or herbs that St. Francis likes that would be appropriate in this situation?

Any suggestions would be so so so appreciated.

I'm so sorry to hear about your poor kitty

I'm reluctant to tell you to put your cat in contact with anything herbal in case it is allergic to the herb and his condition worsens. So, as for putting anything on the kitty's skin, I'd take your doctor's advice to give it some time and see if not being in contact with the steroid cream helps things.

In the meantime, I recommend Healing work for your cats, continuing to work with St. Francis, and petitioning Dr. Jose Hernandez, the "good doctor."

If you are open to and comfortable with working with Hindu deities, I have a suggestion as well.

Lucky Mojo has a lovely Durga condition oil that can be used, as Durga is the Hindu deity that I most recommend to clients - and especially women - who are looking to increase their confidence and self-esteem. Durga is both a mother-goddess, as well as a fierce warrior-goddess, who is very famous in India for her battles again the two demons whose names translate as "Too Much" and "Too Little". These are the concepts that are at the root of most of our feelings of inadequacy and discontentment, By invoking her aid, you can call her help to slay your own demons of Too Much and Too Little and begin to step into your own power.

You can use the Durga oil in conjunction with something like Master or Commanding oil, &/or with carrying a Commanding mojo bag, to help you feel more in control of your life, and more satisfied overall that things are going well (or at least that you are capable of doing the things necessary to shift them).

The Durga mantra that I recommend that you work with is OM HRIM SHRIM KLIM Chamundayei vicche namaha, as this is the one that calls upon her Chamunda forms which is the one who did battle with those demons.

Afternoon All! If this has been asked before I apologize in advance. I am wondering if a Love Me Honey Jar can be used on ones self? Ive run the gauntlet through the years of abusive or codependent love and im feed up! I understand its a part of my journey and I must learn my lessons. So I've made a commitment to myself to work through and release my past trauma, and develop greater self love. Im planning my cut and clear for the upcoming full moon on May 10. It's in exact opposition to my natal moon so Im hoping it'll amp up my results. Im wanting to plan a self love spell for the new moon and am intrigued with the notion of a honey jar. I feel seeing it everyday will be a constant affirmation of the inherent love available to us all. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

I think a honey jar would be a nice way to give yourself some love, and if you scroll up through this thread (which is why I moved your post over here), you'll find a lot more spell ideas to do to increase your self love and self esteem.

I had a weight loss mojo and I lost it after a few weeks. I think this is reflective of my ambivalence about my weight.

I like the idea of using a white figural candle with Healing and Blessing oil and watching it melt down while praying for healthy weight loss. What about surrounding the figural candle with yellow chime candles dressed in Road Opener or red candles dressed in Blockbuster oil? I have so many psychological blocks to losing weight. I think part of me uses the weight as a way to keep people away. But I'm at the point where I just feel really uncomfortable and I'm risking serious health problems.

What else can I add to this spell?

Is it possible that Blockbuster was a bit too strong? I just threw up again out of the blue. It's probably just a normal medical reason and I plan to check in with the doc about it, but I was just curious if anyone thinks it is related.

I thought about bolemia when you first posted. It could be the blockbuster spell, maybe it was a little harsh.

I lost 4 lbs in 2 days. Doctor doesn't know why i'm vomiting and now I have to go to the GI doctor.

Another spell gone awry. I wanted to lose weight but not by vomiting. I'm bad at this...

You need to control your power a little. Maybe watch what you say and be more precise with your verbiage. Your commands and petitions ought to e written down a day or 2 in advance and then think them through while thinking about incorporating the purposeful omission of any type of repercussions. Verbiage such as: "Without harm to myself", etc.

In the meantime, take a 13 herb bath and get rid of whatever you did

I took a 13 herb bath on Thursday night. I'm still very nauseous, but I haven't vomited in a few days.

Hello everyone. I was hoping to get some advice on the Clarity and Road Opener spell from the Clarity Spiritual Supplies pages as decribed in Hoodoo in Theory and Practice.

In the spell Miss Cat clearly states to use Clarity and Road Opener spiritual supplies, however I was wondering whether I could replace the Road Opener supplies with Blockbuster? I don't have Roadopener supplies and I really need to start this work for my son. I'm just being cautious because I use blockbuster often and I know how KABOOM !! It can be. It gets those roads opened, however would it be too harsh or not suitable for this spell?

I personally would not use the Blockbuster for the same reasons you have mentioned.

And happy that you checked with us first.

I would start the Clarity work (along with the Crystal Silence League requests) while waiting for road opener supplies. Then, do he spell over according to the instructions

What is the best way to help someone else make wise decisions about their future? I started a honey jar and dressed my petition with King Solomon's Wisdom and Influence and added calamus and licorice. I am trying to influence her to have wisdom. Is that a good approach?

I don't think the honey jar fits with this situation since you're trying to influence her mind, not sweeten her toward a person. Instead, I think you should dress a white skull candle with King Solomon's Wisdom oil and Influence oil if you want to bend her a bit.
