Hoodoo Rootwork Hour 8/24/05 Native American Beliefs and Hoodoo (#5607)

Unread post by catherineyronwode » Thu Aug 25, 2005 12:36 am

I want to thank Dara Anslowar for a wonderful and informative Hoodoo
Rootwork Hour radio show tonight. Her talk on Native American
contributions to hoodoo was a fine introduction to this complex and
rewarding subject. In particular, we learned a lot about how Tobacco,
Sage, John the Conquer, and other American plants have entered into
hoodoo.

Thanks also to those who asked such great questions during the call-in
period during the 2nd half of the show. Much appreciated.

If you miseed tonight's hoodoo rootwork hour radio show, you will have
a later opportunity to catch it -- BUT, you will have to wait until it
is placed online in the radio show archives at drkioni.com for a free
download, or until Dr. K. makes it available on CD for purchase.

In the meantime, remember that we are now in our 2nd series of LIVE
radio shows for 2005, and LIVE means that you can listen to the show by
phone bridge as it is being broadcast -- the lowest of the low tech
methods. Furthermore, all phone bridge listeners are invited to take
part in the call-in portion of the show at the half-hour.

New students -- if you are unfamiliar with the rootwork hour radio
show, please review your LESSON ZERO for further details or go to
http://www.luckymojo.com/radioshow.html
and read it all there. For the current program schedule, go to
http://www.luckymojo.com/showlist.html
-- and be sure to keep on the look-out here in the yahoo group elist
for the call-in number and access codes for next week's show.

Hoping to talk to -- and hear from you -- next week!
