Thank you for the reply Miss Athena. Yes, that seems to be what I was thinking: Using regular (or gentle) dishwashing liquid soap, and hand washing the oil lamp as gently as possible, like gently washing dishes, and avoiding breaking anything.

Candle spells themselves don't usually bother me. Especially when using the 6-inch candles in the candle holders. I would have no problem doing a moving candle spell with those candles.
