Re: Saint Martin de Porres Spiritual Supplies Questions and Answers

Salt dough, with frankincense, Myrhh, cinnamon and spiritual oil.

he's a little squatter than I would have hoped him to turn out. but realistically, maybe that's just him in his later years.

I love making versions of salt dough and playdough with appropriate things all mixed in for their use.

Re: Saint Martin de Porres Spiritual Supplies Questions and Answers

well I've made this.

it's not finished, I want to put some gold highlights in before I varnish and mount it. I'm not sure how I'm going to work a baseplate yet.

Re: Saint Martin de Porres Spiritual Supplies Questions and Answers

those things sound lovely.

I've just recently ordered some holy cards, and I'll definitely have a good look at some of the other items. the package sounds lovely.

and that first print has a lovely feel to it.

thanks for the tips . I may post a picture when I've got it all together and on the go.

Re: Looking for A Great Companion Animal

I can't say what's right for you. that depends on a lot of things.

but I've kept rats over 20 years, if you want any advice, feel free to give me a shout.

the main and most important thing is that they are highly social animals (this is what makes them such great pets. they form strong social ...

Re: Saint Martin de Porres Spiritual Supplies Questions and Answers

I'm thinking the PDSA might be a good one to cover both bases a bit there.

it's a UK charity that provides vet care for pets of people on a low income. do you think he'd like that? I could put a little money jar on the shrine, and donate it as it fills up with my loose change.

Re: Saint Martin de Porres Spiritual Supplies Questions and Answers

I've only just heard of him (I'm working through the podcast archives) and I liked the sound of him and read a little more.

when I read about his closeness to rats, it occurred to me that it would be very good to make a shrine for him in the proximity of my ratty corner.

now a whole corner of my ...

Re: Saint Martin de Porres Spiritual Supplies Questions and Answers

Hi. not been in here for a while, but I've been working my way through the podcast archives, and just heard the mention of St Martin de Porres, and it mentioned his connection with rats.

now earlier today, before getting to the podcast, I had a bad experience at the vets with one of my five lovely ...

Re: US Cent, Dime, Dollar, Two Dollar Bill, Lucky Coins, and Tokens Questions and Answers

I don't suppose anyone has a recommendation for any particular member that would be most suited, as I'm not that familiar.

I'm looking for someone that could work with someone in the UK.
my background is in UK Traditional Witchcraft (old school folk magic rather than Wicca style) and I'm very drawn ...

Re: Suggest and Discuss Topics and Magic Spells on the LMC Network

It is fantastic. I always have a pad and pen with me while I listen as SO MUCH amazing information is given out during it.

me too. I take notes. it's wonderful.

also, I have never EVER been able to get my head round tarot. I have one oracle deck that is like second nature to me, which I bought ...

Re: US Cent, Dime, Dollar, Two Dollar Bill, Lucky Coins, and Tokens Questions and Answers

probably not a bad idea at all. it's just baffling, been going on a long time, and quite frankly is doing my head in.

I've been trying to get to the bottom of it, the deck I use, and get on with very well (as someone that has never clicked with tarot, although the descriptions of the imagery in ...

Re: US Cent, Dime, Dollar, Two Dollar Bill, Lucky Coins, and Tokens Questions and Answers

I have a silver dime I wear on my ankle, but it tarnishes up really quickly. which is worrying. I work on it when it does, and polish it back up (involving not very elegant putting my foot up higher than is comfortable, to put it before my shrine and ask for it to be clean again.

I know that most ...

hello from Cornwall, uk

just dropping a line to say Hi.

I came here because I love the podcast, and It's teaching me so much.

I grew up fairly immersed in a UK traditional Witchcraft/Pantheist environment, and after many years feeling very secure in that, had New Orleans style Voodoo and Hoodoo kick my door down ...
