I have read you should put a glass of water on the alter--is that a Hoodoo tradition?, and if
so, do you change the water daily. Also is it good to keep incense burning as much as possible,
along with the burning candle (which is burning all day?)

4" Black Candles

Is there anything "wrong" with burning a 4" black candle daily for a week to 10 days, to get rid of
darkness or negativity in one's life?

Just curious as I have read the color black is powerful and shouldn't be used daily, while other people use it to filter negativity ...

Are there any days that are 'unwise' to start candle magick? I read somewhere
that Tuesdays and Saturdays were 'bad' days to start a candle if you wanted
to 'bring in something' to you. Any thoughts on that?

I am wondering if the green/black reversal candle is generally used to
turn a consistent money problem around, OR is the reversal candle
used ONLY to "send back" to someone you think has caused you a money
problem. If it is for general turn around, do you do a few in a row until
you see results, or ...
