An altar can be a place of either veneration or work. There is a very good book on this subject by Phoenix LeFae called "Hoodoo Shrines and Altars: Sacred Spaces in Conjure and Rootwork." You can find it here:

I've read through this entire thread, finally. I'm grateful that Lucky Mojo oils are made from natural products, and contain vitamin E oil for a longer shelf life.
