Thanks, Cat. I have to admit that I like the look of paraffin wax candles better than bees wax and soy candles. The latter have a kind of dull finish when compared to the paraffin candles. I'll experiment and see what feels right.

I would never use any kind of compelling or controlling work on children. That's why I made a point of mentioning in my post that these are "young adult" learners (i.e. college students), although sometimes I'm not so sure judging from their behavior. But thank you for the suggestion.
