I prepared a vinegar jar this past thursday night and while shaking it, it exploded. Everything inside that was paper had already turned to mush after just a few minutes (maybe 10) and it was a huge, huge mess.

If they get found, then in my opinion it's just part of the energy dispersing. If the spell has already manifested than the point is really moot.

For "negative" type work, I like to take the bottles to the city dump and toss them away. I sort of hesitate doing the crossroads thing because o broken glass and so-forth. For "positive" work, I bury them in my yard or the yard of the person the work is being done for.
